I had passed this place many times when driving through the area, growing very curious. I thought the shop was very cute and quaint. I found a few treasures: a book, celtic irish designed cup and some british tea bags. Staff was friendly and a customer referred me to an event on St. Patrick’s Day. I am not from Ireland or Scotland but I have Scottish in my blood and would love to visit the country sometime. The store made me feel out of Portland for a few minutes. I will definitely go back to look at other things. Very cool place.

We go here for the British treats. FRESH Digestive biscuits(chocolate and plain), Hob Knobs, Aerobars, great tea selection. Are you a Canadian transplant too? This is a great place to find some familiar candy and biscuits for tea. Can’t review the overall selection of the other many, many things they have since we just go here for hard to find treats. They also have café/food — think Scotch eggs and meat pies. Staff are always friendly and kind.

Great shop for piping supplies and Gordon is top notch for instruction! I also love picking up some black and white pudding when available, and a few other specialty foods… Great place!

The ‘owner?’ Wow, can I just say I think they are only in business because of the unique product. Customer service sure isn’t practiced here. Skip it and order online from somebody else.

I think I’ve found my son’s new favorite store in Portland. Scottish and Celtic items of all sorts from music to jewelry, clan wear and clan ware of all sorts. And I can’t say enough how wonderful the staff was at the store. I walked in looking to find a few holiday gifts related to our Scottish ancestry and I left with a world a information about Scottish events and groups throughout the northwest. One of their specialties is ordering authentic kilts from Scotland. They will take your measurements in the store and then order the item abroad. Definitely something to consider for the future when my son finishes growing, or at least slows down. And if you don’t want to raise a Scot’s temper, I suggest you don’t mention«utilikilt» in the shop. Lesson learned, although it was one of the funniest conversations I’ve had all year. The gift items(ornaments, kilt pins and tartan ties) were a big hit. I am sure my son will be doing some of his after Christmas shopping here as well.
