As far as strip clubs go this one is okay. Its isn’t anything special but the girls are decent and so is the food. The environment is classier than devils point but more aged than lucky devil. It is much cleaner than Shimmers.
You park behind another building wich is good if you want to have a little privacy. Smoking is allowed out front in a smoking shed and sometimes the ladies will join you.

It’s a good place! My favorite stripper is there, w00t! Love the BLTs, but get em with double bacon, hehe. One thing that’s nice about this place as you can see the stages from almost any seat in the house. I like that because well that’s why I go there to see the beautiful ladies! The lighting is nice as well the lighting of the lap dance area is pretty cool with the white sheets in the black lights on it. And said that was good ideas there! The bathroom the men’s bathroom smells like piss it’s pretty bad! Might want to just piss outside and avoid it altogether. Other than that this place would get five stars. The women there are absolutely beautiful.

One of my regular neighborhood spots. Always get great service. Good bar food. Hot dancers… Most of the girls are very friendly.

We ended up here after a long night of hanging with friends. We decided to check this place out. The parking is great. That’s all that’s great about this place !
They need a new bartender who isn’t rude. I’m sure this place would do so much better with just friendly staff. The door guy was great ! One of the dancers got into a confrontation with our friend over nonsense.
Not how you run a business. Overall would never recommend this place to anyone.

Worst customer service I have ever had. The bar tender filled my cup full of ice and barely any drink and when I asked her if it was normal for them to fill a cup of ice and add a tiny bit of drink for $ 7 was normal she replied in a really rude tone that it was, o walked away… and then another guy came over and kicked me and my friends out… saying I was being rude to the girl who made the drink. i know how to keep my composure and don’t give a shit about a 7 dollar drink… getting kicked out over some minimum wage bitch that lied about everything I said did piss me off though… good luck to the scummy bar tender and the way they treat their customers.

Well, it’s a strip club, so what can I say?
Went while on vacation on the last night in town and just needed to relax.
Not being from Oregon it was surprising to see that kind of club. There are slot machines, keno, full bar, full nude, and lap dances happen «behind the curtain». So it was a little different. And it was very well lit! Not used to that in a strip club. The girls were okay, definitely seen worse. I would go back on a busier night. We went on a Tuesday at like 6pm so it was dead but still had fun.

Girls were sweet, 2 out of 10 knew how to use the pole. Very calm environment though.

Absolutely terrible service. The bartender, Casey, took our order, knowing I wanted one of the orders packed as a to-​go order. Went to the bathroom after the food arrived, Casey followed my friends and I, we let her go first since there were 3 of us and we were going to wait for each other. After leaving the bathroom, she had cleared our table and threw away the to-​go order. Dismayed, I went to the bar and asked her where our food was, and she said she thought we were done. After calling her out, saying she was in the bathroom with us, she started speaking to me very aggressively. The manager came up, and I told him she threw away my food, the girl FREAKED OUT. She started screaming and getting up in my face telling me to get out. The manager, instead of comping me my food, or even offering a drink, tells me I have to leave. At this point, I have been silent, and mildly teary eyed from some crazy bitch yelling in my face. Needless to say, this place has terrible management, and should really test their employees for amphetamines.

So I now classify strip clubs into two categories.
Category 1– lap dance focused and designed for guys.
Category 2– stage show focused and designed for all types.
As a married guy who was never a real lap dance guy (goo-​phobic) I really tend to prefer type 2. They let me see what I want, drink what I want, and generally offer less constant ‘want a dance?’ stuff.
This place falls mostly into the first type of club in that their dancers seem to be more lap dance and less pole dance focused. That said there was not the usual obsession with asking if I wanted a dance. And the food smelled great, although I didn’t eat any.
I guess I am saying that if you prefer category 1 clubs then I think that this is a really nice one, but I prefer the other category.

Really dig this place. Cheap, strong drinks, friendly employees, strippers are decent, sometimes above average, leaning more towards girl next door look with very few (if any) plastered up barbie dolls. As with most clubs, don’t expect an A lineup at 2pm on a Monday, but later in the day/​week the stage entertainment gets better. All around a great bar. Never a cover, sundays have free pool (reason I started going), happy hour prices are great, and most of the food is pretty good. I personally recommend the club sandwich and fries — the nachos… not so much. They recently added some new lighting, another lap dance area and outdoor heaters for smokers who are willing to brave the cold, though their outdoor smoking shelter is a bit small. Verdict: Not bad, not bad at all. I’ll be back soon.

This place had really cheap deals on food and drinks, but its really just an attempt by the owner to keep his head above water. The stages where awkwardly placed in the room, with plenty of dark tables surrounding them for cheap creepers to stare open mouthed. I went at 930pm, and was totally let down by the lack of ability and enthusiasm on the part of the dancers. Not a single pole trick, beyond a quick little spin. There’s a couple really great places near here, that I PROMISE you will not let you down, they both have «devil» in the name. ;)
One star for the color of the building, purple is my favorite color.

Pretty blah for a saturday night. The dancers we fatter (for lack of better words) and less good looking than what I’m used to, which would be fine if they were more enthusiastic. No smiles, heel clapping, ass slapping or fun tricks.
Granted I was only there for 20 minutes, so i may have caught a lame bunch.
The bathrooms, however, were the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a strip club with really cool tilework. Plus I got to see a girl come out, dragging a 3ft piece of toilet paper on her wedge halfway through the bar. This would have been the highlight if not for 2 words: Monopoly Pinball! Oh yes.
They also have like 4 pool tables and 2 stages, not raised.
Overall– Meh… maybe I will give it another shot next time I have another 30 minute bus wait.

If this review was only about the bar, it would be three stars and if it was solely about the «talent» it would be one — and so we arrive at the tenuous two-​star review. Dv8 is one of my neighborhood bars, so I’ve been there quite a few times, and every time I leave I vow not to go back. Yet for some reason or other I find myself back at the very same rack… The bar isn’t bad with friendly bartenders and great happy hour deals. They’ve got a pool table, video crack and a few flat-​screens usually showing some kind of sporting event. The décor and vibe in this place just really weird me out and I can’t quite figure out why — could be because it’s almost always pretty empty?
Then we move on to the dancers. These ladies are some of the worst entertainers I’ve encountered in Portland. They have all been fairly attractive, but there is always some other factor that completely detracts from enjoying the show. On one recent visit dancer #1 complained her entire set about how tired she was from working a double shift. Dancer #2 didn’t dance at all. Not a shimmy. Not a shake. Not even a little wiggle. She literally stood there and ran her mouth talking about crap I really didn’t care to know about for three full songs. Dancer #3 was normal for one set, then came back so obviously out of her mind (I’m guessing on heroin) she was practically incoherent and inching down the rack at a caterpillars pace.
Needless to say we left shortly after, and this time I really won’t be back!

When a buddy’s wife invites you to see her strip…
…I guess it is impolite to say no, especially when the husband encourages you?
So I’ve been here a few times, with and without the wife in question. Like the pool tables. Not bad for drinks. They had all right prices and good looking girls as I recall. The space around the pool tables was tight last time I was there.
Pretty good seating available overall, but the place is relatively small.
Never had any food here, so no clue on that score.

Well my friend and I rode our bikes there after having some beers. Wait… after having some beers then getting a ride home from Devil’s Point. Actually, my friend and I rode our bikes to DV8 after drinking a couple pitchers at Devil’s Point, coming home and drinking more, then attempting to walk to Sassy’s; when it occurred to me that we should just ride bikes back to Devil’s Point. Sounded easy enough: borrow some bikes from the roomates while not telling them that the last time I was on one was when I was 12 and that I had drank an unknown/​unsafe amount of beer. So we embarked, Lando at the lead. It was half way to Devil’s Point when we stopped to shotgun and beer, and that’s when we spotted her: DV8. I had seen this place before but had never been inside. Its kinda divey looking from the outside and its across the street from a T. Bell. Go figure.
So we parked, chained up and went in… we were the only f-​ing people in the place besides the door-​guy, one bartender and the one stripper on stage. Honestly I can vaguely remember the inside (I was wasted). I do remember that we left promptly. There was no way my friend and I were going to be the only people in there getting hounded to tip. I mean the atmosphere just looked shitty and I think it was a Thursday night.
So if you are in the area and you get that urge… Devil’s Point. Look for Cricket… she’s pretty hot… I think.

how can you not love a dive-​bar strip club? cheap pints of pbr. check. cute young strippers. check. friendly bartenders. check. this place is like a second home to me. not all pretentious and high falooting like some other joints. just real down home, relaxed, affordable entertainment…

Compared to what it looks like on the outside, the inside is more decent than you would imagine. Still, a bit seedy. No Vegas. Cute chicks though… fun outfits and good music. Chill atmosphere.

I honestly felt the females were just a tad too aggressive, but hey they ARE trying to get paid, and I WAS at a strip club.

Icky strip bar. And I’ve been known to be cool with some strip bars.
