Decent pizza. The brother likes it so I try my best to accommodate once in a blue moon. Food is mediocre.

I agree this place is ridiculously terrible. .just glad I didn’t have to pay for this muck. Me n my daughter took one bite and left. Prices are way over priced too!

There are a lot of bad reviews. Has anyone gotten a response from the owners? I haven’t been back to Giuseppe’s for over a very long time. The bar is great, drinks are good. Food is overpriced, I believe it’s less food now for more monies. The salad is typical. I’d rather have Olive Garden salad and I strongly dislike OG. I would love a good Italian joint on this side of town. This isn’t it. The owners sit in the bar all the time. I wonder how many people know that.

I really enjoy their food but be prepared to wait. They are always swamped and could use a few more servers but overall a good choice.

Used to be a really good restaurant. Unfortunately now it is not. The food is terrible. Our last two visits have been awful. I will never go here again. So sad because it used to be one of my family’s favorites.

I had a very pleasant experience eating lunch here. Rigatoni and Italian sausage. 11 bucks is a great value. Good service quick service good place to get a quick $ 10 lunch.

My wife and I have been eating here for over 10 years. The food used to be excellent. The service, is a coin flip. The last couple times, it’s been really bad. We try something different each time. So today, we decide to get lunch to go. We order a small pizza, chicken fettuccini, bread sticks, and a side of their white sauce. It was horrible. Chicken was dry, the side of white sauce was water thin, with chunks of cheese in it. The pizza was greasy, toppings were rock hard, and the sauce had a freezer taste to it. $ 50 for lunch. I could of drive across the street to take and bake, paid have the price, and got better quality. I know the owners who put their blood, sweat, and tears into this place to make it what it was. Whoever runs it now, clearly doesn’t care anymore. I will no longer eat here, and recommend you don’t either.

So I went here a few months ago and had a wonderful pizza even though the staff was subpar. Then I went here again on Saturday night just to wait over 25 minutes for so much as a hello from our waitress(if you want to call her that since she clearly doesn’t do her job) we watched couples come in after us and get their food before we had even been greeted which sucked even more because we knew exactly what we wanted when we walked in. We could have ordered drinks and food within 1 minute had anyone cared to come check on us. For goodness sakes, we weren’t in some weird corner where they couldn’t see us. The food isn’t good enough to be treated like your nothing by the staff. I can guarantee that.

The pizza is amazing!!! So much pepperoni! The alfredo sauce is delicious. The chicken parmesan was a little to smothered in alfredo sauce and cheese for me, but my husband liked it. By far our favorite pizza in the area. Update: Consistent quality is becoming a problem. The Alfredo sauce has been water thin a couple times now, and when we order larger sized pizzas($$), they don’t seem to be prepared with as much care(way to much sauce and cheese) and not cooked enough(the centers are still almost doughy it’s so chewy, no one would eat the ends of the slices and the toppings would slide right off). Also when you call to let them know they don’t seem to concerned about it and don’t offer to do anything to make the situation better(at least the people I have spoken with).

I always have a good meal at this place, today I ordered the lunch special spaghetti and meatballs, was excellent. I think the lunch quantity is the same size as dinner, it was huge. I took home enough for dinner tonight, the Chicken Parmesan sandwich is also huge and also an excellent choice should you want to try it

Guiseppes why are you still in business? I do not understand how you have not been shut down for killing people with your absolutely repulsive food. Never ever ever eat here. Mixed reviews brought me here, never eat here. Lets start with the pros. PROS: 1. Nice parking lot. 2. Waitress was very nice and attentive. CONS: 1. The majority of the restaurant as far as I could tell was a shabby bar. 2. Food was epicly disgusting. I mean the type of food that after eating you hope someone randomly punches you hard in the stomach so you can puke it back up in hopes of avoiding the likely trip to the ER. 3. Prices were way too high for this human waste put on a plate. I would rather eat dog waste than to ever eat here again. I would rather cut off both my thumbs than to ever suffer through the landfill waste they serve and call food. Health department are you out there? PLEASESHUTTHISDENOFPOISONDOWN!!!

Wonderful staff, clean spot, stiff drinks, and great American-Italian. It is not AVAGENE’S, but it makes olive garden look silly… Great prices on all your favorites — ravioli, chicken parm, spaghetti — you get the picture. Order tge Pigs In a Blanket. It’s a plate of fresh bread, sliced Italian sausage, and a bowl of bolognese to dip it in. If you’re looking for a fancy dinner this isn’t your place, but if you want to spend $ 50 on dinner for 2 with good drinks, stop in!

I’ve lived near this place for 9 years– Got take out the other night. Pasta, salad and chicken Marsala. The pasta and sauce was flavorless! The Marsala tasted like it was cooked in fake butter and oil with a hint of Marsala and the chicken was cut up dried out chicken scregs. The garlic bread was stale and flavorless. I’m Italian– this place is a joke.

While normally our food is amazing, and our service is great… Tonight was a completely different story. Our server(Mary?) seemed uninterested and we felt like we were being rushed-even though there were only a few parties in the entire restaurant. She was unfriendly and had a bit of an attitude. I ordered the lasagna and it was overcooked and the meat tasted somewhat like dog food. Not once did she ask how our food was and I ended up wasting most of it. $ 15 for garlic bread and a salad I suppose.

I’d driven by this place 100 times and never tried it out until this day. I came in on a Saturday around 3pm for a little lunch. I came in through the lounge area which had TVs on every wall with sports on all of them which was great! The super kind waitress/bartender suggested the chicken parmigiana and a side of spaghetti. I trusted her and was disappointed with my order. The spaghetti was great, the bread it came with was ok but the chicken Parmesan was not good. I started on one end of the side dish it came in and it was burnt, had no flavor and reminded me of something that was made last week and just heated up in the microwave. I attempted to eat half of the dish hoping that the middle would be better to no avail. The total cost of this was originally 15 dollars but the was comped 6 bucks my the waitress making it 9 bucks for a side salad and spaghetti. I’d be willing to go back another time down the road but not going to order the chicken Parmesan again.

Been wanting to try this spot for last 4 months, finally made my way over there and wasn’t to impressed. Don’t let that hold you back from checking it out though cause the food was good, but only good if you ask me. Service was great! Appetizer and drinks prices are nice as well.

I’ve been to many pizza joints around Portland and this is not the worst but definitely not the best. The prices are kinda spendy and the food is just decent in my opinion. Of the various pizzas i have tried i would say the spicy chicken is my favorite. It has a good portion of chicken and the spice is not too overpowering. The portions on all the pizzas are pretty good as well. My huge complaint is that the pizzas are quite greasy. They tend to leave me using 5 napkins to clean off my hands after I’m done. Never a good thing. Overall I’m not going to be too harsh though as the pizzas do taste pretty good.

We were promptly seated for dinner for four and helped right away. Our waitress was very sweet and brought us our beverages and antipasti. The antipasti is nothing special, but this isn’t a high-class Italian joint, either. Salad is just a basic garden salad with a few croutons and stuff, also nothing special. The pasta dishes were good and had flavorful meat sauce. I got the gnocchi which wasn’t that great, but my mom got baked ziti and it was smothered in cheese(which is OK by me!) The servings are huge, including the bread. They give you basically a loaf of garlic bread just for the basket alone. It’s nuts! Definitely enough to go around and you don’t need to ask for extra. All & all, I was satisfied but I’ve had better food. I’d still come back though, and that’s enough for me.
