French Quarter Linens

Great choices and inventory. Cherry is super helpful and friendly. Products made in USA and Canada with pretty quick delivery on custom orders.

Luxurious even exquisite bed linens for sale at this brick and mortar storefront. Other luxury goods for bedroom and bath too, like candles, lotions, embroidered linen hand towels and duvets with fills from down to silk to down substitutes and personal items like Four Seasons worthy cotton robes. The shop ambiance is warm and so is the service from knowledgeable advisory sales staff. Prices make it so I can’t afford to shop here often.
HIGH PRICE AND QUALITY
A king size bed cover of the same brand and pattern as on a bed in my home clocks in here at almost $ 900. I paid one third that price at a national e-​tailer. Cotton high thread count sheets from another luxury brand are also better than double the price I paid through another retailer. Another bed cover that retails here for $ 500 was had for $ 150 at an interior design shop close out sale.
Which is not to say the retail prices at French Quarter are unfairly high, because they are fairly on point with full retail for these goods at other high end stores, like Horchow or Niemann. But my Champagne tastes need to be kept in line with my prosecco budget by shopping the best buy. Which would not often land me here. Except for times when their fantastic selection of things makes them the source for just what it is I want.
FANTASTIC SELECTION
French Quarter doesn’t manage a big in store inventory but they have scores of samples of options for things like duvet covers or coverlets made up into small kidney pillow sized displays on shelves in the store so you can get an idea of not just color, pattern and weave but the hand of the fabric before ordering an item. (These samples are truly yummy and carry no calories!) Were you planning on purchasing through French Quarter you might even be able to take the samples home to try out the fabric in your own space.
At least one brand is owned by French Quarter’s owner but others like Peacock Alley, Pinecone Hill, Sferra, Henry Handwork, Abyss and Signoria, to name just a few of the dozens they represent, are available through other sources.
On my recent trip in the shop, while on vacation for a month in Portland, they had the most gorgeous persimmon colored cashmere throw on display at the foot of a bed that made me want to go home and redecorate around it. It was a momentary flash of insanity until I learned the price. But fun to imagine while it lasted.
WARM AND WONDERFUL SERVICE
That the sales people here as so welcoming and unpretentious is a breath of fresh air given the top end products they are selling and the kind of elite clientele that must be able to walk in and purchase there. (As some were doing on the evening I visited.) I can’t imagine a better place to shop for the design assistance and selection help you need to pull together the perfect choices to buy from French Quarter if you have the funds to do that.

1) PARKING: On street in this part of the Pearl can be a challenge.
2) ACCESSIBILITY: Universally usable access ramp right inside the front door. Store is all on one level.

Just picked up a new set of sheets and 2 sets of bath towels. Cheri handled our order with experience and understanding. We will be back.

Lovely store offering high end products. The window display drew me in, but the price tag had me scuttling out despite the friendly service.

This store has beautiful, albeit incredibly expensive, linens. The quality of the fabrics is phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The bathroom linens are not as nice as those found elsewhere.

Lovely products and amazing service. It’s great to be able to bring a sample home to ensure you are happy with the color. The customer service is as it should be.
I simply love my sheets and towels, all of them of the finest quality and they last forever. Really would love to s hop more often, but how many sets of sheets does one need?

Out of all of my travels, I have never found a store that does it like this. The finest linens you can get. Unlike other stores that only carry one brand, this place has such a large selection. And if they dont have it, they can get it for you. I have been a customer of the French Quarter for about 14 years. They have always stood behind there products. Check it out. But be careful. You’ll get hooked like I did…

Slipping between well-​made, high-​quality sheets makes me feel like a princess.
Besides, I think over the course of my life I’ll spend more time sleeping than I will doing any other one single activity (besides working-​out perhaps). So, because nice sheets makes me feel like royalty and since I will use them all the time… it therefore must be okay to spend one zillion dollars on them right?
As soon as I can afford to… I will return to buy the French Quarter’s luxurious, stylish, sophisticated and downright elegant bedding and towels.
The staff were knowledge, helpful and very nice. One woman even explained the different types of linens they carry and had us feel the accompanying sample swatches of fabrics even though it was clear we were just browsing.

If I went to a toga party, I would drape myself in something from French Quarter to experience pure luxury! The linens are sumptuous, with the most beautiful colors and patterns you will ever see. This is definitely where the Ladies who Lunch buy their towels and sheets.
If your budget is not up for the sticker shock of a French Quarter shopping spree, I suggest you pop in to check out their displays and color schemes and take those ideas to a store where you can create a similar look on the cheap.

Wrapping up in indulgent comfort
Admittedly, It’s completely indulgent, but then again why not spend a lot of money on where you’ll spend a third of your life? I’m talking about your bed, and there’s no fancier or luxurious place to buy sheets in all of Portland.
This place is very expensive, which is the only reason why it’s not getting five stars. But if you’ve got the money to spend and love indulging yourself in the best of the best, such as 600-​thread count sheets and Egyptian towels so soft that you’ll never want to get dressed after a shower. You can actually custom make your sheets here by picking the linen and giving them the dimensions. Now again, pricey as, but well worth it if you have the funds.
I came here on with a gift certificate from a generous friend and ended up buying some of the Egyptian towels. They also had some really nice bath accessories, which I bought for a friend’s wedding shower. The smells alone from the bath salts and oils were heavenly. Walking around this place makes you feel like you’re treating yourself even if you don’t actually buy anything.
Tip: Very fun place to window shop with a girlfriend and point out all the cool stuff you’re going to buy when you get rich.
