Nothing extraordinary about this place but the music is real good on Saturday night. The wait to get in ranges from 15 – 45 minutes if you line up before 11am. There’s a cover for everyone(ladies are cheaper than guys). If you know the bouncer or can convince him to let you and your friends in, you won’t have to wait long. The drinks are strong and the shots are plenty. The bathrooms are disgusting(no soap or paper towels; pee on the seat and floor) but if you’re drunk you probably wouldn’t notice

Fortune is a dope spot for chill vibes! Nam is a awesome bartender with good convo and makes good drinks too! It went up on a Tuesdaaaaay! CCCC he had all 4! Music on point, best 90’s hip hop spot! Trap on request… «If they want it, we will play it»!

Minimalist décor with some splashes of pop art on the wall, its a single hallway with some bar seats and some tables. Its right over the old Hung Far Low sign, so if you grew up in Portland like I did, the change in the area is quite striking. If I lived in Portland, it’d probably be one of my to go to first date spots. The seating, dark lighting and vibe is pretty conducive for that as well as the somewhat speakeasy-ish nature of it all. Went in early on a Saturday night(9 or 930), there weren’t too many people in there. They were playing some good hip hop from the 90s, which is one of my personal favorites. Had the honey B, which was a great little drink with some tequila I think. Also was a bit hungry, so got a Char Siu Bao(steamed pork bun) which wasn’t too bad and filled me up nicely.

Threw a private party for coworkers & friends last week and it was amazing! Owners were great, the venue is extremely nice and the bartendars were killing it! Highly recommend it to any and everyone!

Fortune is pdx’s little secret so stop reading this and go elsewhere. Okay you can go here but only tell one person. The drinks are on point and the music fits the scene perfectly. Its a nightspot owned by people that are dedicated to crafting awesome experiences in the city. It’s a spot where you can dance and also relax along the back wall with yours woes or your real problems.(Ha see what I did there.) When I’ve gone there was a line but nothing like the other ridiculous ones you will encounter downtown. I’ve had a great time everytime I’ve been here drama free– what else can you ask for from a PDX nightspot.

Along with sister bar Tube(risen from the ashes), Fortune represents an oasis of non-cheesy right off the edge of the«bar-puka». Well selected djs and their amazing curated music adventures are the name of the game. Dress well. Shorts, flipflops and other godawful bridge&tunnel/basic/fucboi attire for going out won’t get you in the door which is alright with me. If you’re looking for shitty facemelting music look elsewhere. Great bartenders and a dark inviting atmosphere are what lays it down for me as well.

Great music and good vibes! Contemporary design with an intimate feel, Fortune is perfect for grabbing drinks with friends or date night. The rotating DJ’s always bring their A game and the bar staff is legendary.
