Went with my fiancée last night and had an absolute blast! We walked in and got a table in the very front and got offered two free drinks right away. Very friendly environment and the boys cracked me up all night! Definitely going back very soon. I highly recommend checking it out OH and the food was pretty scrumptious. Despite whatever the reviews say you guys rock!

I did not comment on my boyfriends experience being discriminated against in my first review as it had not happened yet. But again, he is black & was told baseball caps were not allowed. When we got in, there were multiple white males wearing hats. Ironically one was even wearing the same SD hat as my boyfriend was not allowed to wear inside. It is not only the Barrel Room that has a skewed policy. This happens in most places.

Best piano bar I’ve been to. Great food, great service, great music. Huge outside dance club area where not much dancing was going on, still had a blast though!

The place is good. Piano show is amazing and fun. But service is horrible. They are trying to fool customers. 2 couples, no itemized receipt and they included tips in the bill automatically and still bring you receipt asking for extra gratuity without showing that tips were already added. IT’S ILLEGAL!!! And waiter lied«no, I didn’t include tips»! Excuse me, we aren’t idiots and can calculate how much we bought! I think they take advantage of drunk people!

I ordered Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald and they did not know that song and made laugh at it which was sort of impolite and disrespectful for such a classic and beautiful song. The food was average and drinks had too much of ice and very little of alcohol. They served a bill for 3 couples and it wasn’t itemized… I won’t be back to this place.

Didn’t enjoy my time here at all. My husband and I came in for a date night, we had to flag down the waitress for service and had to go find her to pay when we were ready to leave. The piano player was already intoxicated before taking the stage, and continuously sang out of tune. But the food was great! Nice job cooks!

First time going, and we payed 15 to get in, 10 for guys and 5 for girls). We stayed for seriously 30 minutes because I didn’t see what all the hype was about. The music was mediocre and the booze was to damn expensive. I had a rum and coke that I payed 7 bucks for and it had absolutely no rum in it, so I basically payed for 7 dollars of coca cola, which pissed me off. Now back to the music. Since it is outdoors, the bass is blowing away from the crowd so all you get is treble that pretty much blows your ear drums. As I am 24 I feel like this place should be a place for 18 year Olds to just sit around and listen to whip nae nae and smoke hookah all night. So not my cup of tea.

I went here on a Saturday based on a recommendation. Totally fun! There’s an inside bar with live music, dueling piano style. It’s crowded but no one was bothered by the crowd and was there to have a good time. There is also an outside patio area where There was a DJ playing r&b and hip hop. Not really my thing. I was really amazed at the difference in crowd inside to outside. But overshoot staff seemed friendly and helpful. My husband had no trouble at the door.

This place is better than Disneyland! I don’t think I’ve ever had this much fun. The music is absolutely amazing with the dueling pianos. You can give them requests and they’ll play it! I had grilled cheese bites and they were amazing! I can’t wait until my birthday to come back and have them sing to me on stage.

We went here for a birthday celebration. We ordered a mixed drink with pineapple rum in it, we ordered the bucket(like a pitcher but they literally serve it in a bucket with three crazy long colorful straws in it). I couldn’t taste the alcohol, I don’t think there was more than maybe one shot in the entire thing. Both me and my boyfriend felt no buzz at all. We thought we’d found a solution, just order shots with mixer on the side. We ordered some shots of captain Morgan’s spiced rum. There was no bite to it and it was clearly very watered down. We had multiple shots and still barely felt the effects. For what we ended up spending it wasn’t worth it. However, the dueling piano show(the reason we went there In the first place) was very entertaining. The pianists had a rapport and teased one another and made the crowd laugh. They take requests and played everything from smells like teen spirit, wonderwall and even Disney classics from Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. I requested the Disney songs, haha. If I were to come here again I’d pre funk because you’re not going to get buzzed here.

Fun place for a certain kind of crowd. Way more fun than karaōke. Be ready for loud, campy and crazy piano music. Both pianists were really good, and they handled some pretty bad pop tunes really well. Great shtick but definitely for adults: it is a bar, after all :) The drummer is the unsung hero of the whole thing. Don’t come here for the food. Maybe bring ear plugs.

Racist pianist I will never go back to this place especially on a Friday night. My friends were in town visiting and I took them to Barrel Room only to find a racist, belligerent, and drunk female pianist trying to save her act. She was desperately trying to get the unimpressed audience to join in on her performances by poking fun of the Mexican drummer and then proceeded to berate me and my group of friends at our table, targeting our race and physical characteristics. When I called her out on being a racist, she exclaimed, «Yeah I’m racist, we’re in America!» When the other pianist began playing, she slyly came to our table and offered with her shoulders shrugged, «I’m sorry. I’m really not racist. It’s a show.» If you’re a person of color and/or someone who doesn’t support a business that hires racist people, avoid Barrel Room!

Been here with my friends a couple of times, and always have managed to have a pleasant time. We’ve lucked out with parking every Friday night that we’ve gone, but honestly I probably wouldn’t go if we couldn’t find parking within a couple blocks of the club because the neighborhood is so sketchy. The club itself is pretty nice though! The dueling pianos are fun to watch for a bit, and there are always bachelorette parties keeping the room lively with their song requests and dancing. The outdoor area is only okay though… There are always a lot of single guys out there so definitely go with a larger group if you’re uninterested in bumping and grinding with an unknown body behind you.

Drinks are weak weak weak. We have been here several times through the years and it was always fun and a good value. Maybe their reputation caught up with them? Now the drinks are terribly weak. Super obvious they’re purposefully not making normal strength drinks. Other than that the dueling pianos was fun and the people friendly — just a lot of money for drinks that barely had alcohol.

This is for the atmosphere and the service. The waitress was the quickest most on point waitstaff person I’ve seen in I don’t know how long. The dueling pianists and drummer were really good. The proprietor(I believe) made everyone I saw feel involved and welcome simply by coming to their table and making conversation. The music– So Fun. The pianists seemed to know countless songs from Disney to old standards to pop hits. They were very interactive and kept the crowd engage for hours and hours and hours. Having a guy direct the traffic into the ladies room was genius. I also appreciated that they converted a mens room into a ladies as the night got lively/crowded to keep the line short and speedy. I love those touches– it makes the event so much more enjoyable these details. The food– totally edible and tolerable and reasonable in price for bar food. The margarita I had come from a mix. This seems standard for this bar style so I’m really rating on ambience and how well they achieved what I think their goals are. Obviously by my 5 five star, I think they got it.

Outstanding performance! We were on the waiting list for the show and only waited for about 10 minutes. The two guys playing the pianos were amazing, and very witty. I was impressed! The bar itself leaves something to be desired, that’s for sure. Drinks were really weak for what we paid. Had to switch to beer to make sure we got what we paid for. Otherwise the wait staff was pretty great, well dressed and had some kick ass tats! All in all, we would def go back!

Reserved seats for duelling piano area of the bar. Was great, we got there early and were able to sit at the bar until our seats were ready. We sat front and Center. The Pianists were very talented singer’s and musicians. We were able to put in requests for songs. Great night. There is also a «dance» club area in the out tent area of the place. We didn’t stay for that as we started out earlier, looked like that could be equally as fun. It’s a great place to enjoy music and drinks.

I love Barrel Room! The outdoor area is my favorite. It’s lit with a string of lights across the top and has plenty of space to move around & dance! Drinks are cheap and the music is awesome! Never partied indoors before, but will check that out next time I’m there.

Overall, I think it’s an awesome place to have a drink with a group of friends. The bartenders were really nice and the atmosphere is inviting. They play good music outside and have a large dance area. However, the piano bar was highly disappointing. They played the most obvious and overdone songs. Also, the food, uug, eat before you go. We ordered the cheese plate that advertised some«french brie» among other fancy selections. People, who do you think you are kidding? That was straight up Kraft cheddar on my plate. But like I said, stick to the outdoor area and you will have a blast!

I love the dueling pianist at this place. My friend brought me here after a night of drinking and this was a very good spot. They dual all types of music as long as he people that are playing are familiar with it. Next to the building they have a clubbing tent set up. Best of both worlds. If you wanna have a chill relaxing night then watch the dueling. If you want to take it up a notch then go to they tent for some hard clubbing. 1 thing I did notice thou was that when you request a song and you get too wasted you may or may not hear the song you tipped for. — 1 star due to this.
