The Society Café is an undiscovered gem. The coffee and pastries are amazing, the staff is the friendliest around. They go out of their way to make a great experience. The atmosphere is perfect, with cozy couches by the fire, great tables, and nice music. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The Society Café is the perfect place to relax or hide away and get some work done. The coffee is prepared perfectly and the cookies are so delicious. The best part, is the wonderful service. The employees are prompt, kind, and so lovely to chat with. My new favorite spot!

Awesome little café & lounge! Coffee is good and the cozy fireplace was a plus. Friendly & very knowledgable barista working this morning (he looked like Clark Kent/​Superman!). I was a guest in the hotel and it was so nice to wake up and walk downstairs for my cup of joe :) Thx guys!

A café serving bites/​salads, coffee, signature cocktails, and rotating local draft beer; located in a newly renovated historical building in Chinatown. The baristas are knowledgable and friendly and they use awesome local roasters (Ristretto and Upper Left). The Society Café is located in the lobby of The Society Hotel. The comfy couches by the fireplace are clutch on a chilly, rainy Portland day!
