The people that run this fine establishment are so sweet! They know my name and order by heart, and they always deliver hot, fresh, delicious food at an outstanding price and very generous portions. Teriyaki is the only thing on the menu, really, and they do it well. I always order the number 2. Just teriyaki chicken over rice. For five dollars, I get chicken piled high on at least 2 cups of rice. They certainly don’t skimp. And they’ll give extra sauce at no charge! Best teriyaki in downtown Portland at the best price.

This place is so delicious! There’s not a lot of teriyaki places I like. Even my mom loves this place & she doesn’t like teriyaki all that much! The people are amazing & welcoming! The prices are unbeatable for the huge portions that they serve!!! I’ve been coming here for about 2 years, my mom introduced me too this place! I live in Cornelius & go all the way to Portland just for this place! If your ever looking for a great teriyaki place just to pick up food, I recommend this place!

Definitely a must try in the food carts area. I love the chicken teriyaki. The salad dressing is delicious as well as the dumplings. Can’t go wrong for $ 7!

This is just plane and simple chicken teriyaki. The portions are huge. I’d say the $ 5 rice bowl and chicken is about 1.5 meals. You can get brown rice at no extra charge. The meat is grilled. The price is unbeatable for the satiation of college students across the way. They only take cash. The one draw back is it was served in a non-recyclable, non-reheatable plastic container. Recommend getting the composting paper ones for ease of reheating the plethora of food and easing our planet.

Huge portions for $ 7! Am always greeted with a smile from these nice Korean Food truck owners and you can tell they pour their hearts out into creating the best experience for each individual customer. Teriyaki chicken, brown rice, salad with dressing, and potstickers during happy hour. It’s a perfect combination for ultimate gains!

The chicken could have been cooked a little more. It wasn’t raw, but it definitely was too chewy for my taste.

PSU, you’re fortunate to have so many great food carts nearby. Who needs Chipotle or Pita Pit? Or the low quality pricey crap I remember from University Student Union buildings. I only had the Gyoza plate for $ 5. It came with 10 or so pieces, and they had plenty of sauces to put on them. I’m thinking I’d come back quite a bit if I could order smaller plates for $ 3 or so. Because I remember how every dollar counted when I was a student.

A straightforward teriyaki place: teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, and gyoza. For five dollars, you get enough food for two meals. They also don’t charge you extra for brown rice(never understood why other places do that…), and I believe you can even substitute the rice for salad. Friendly service, too.

Nothing fancy here, just everything you want in a quick lunch option(or dinner if you’re off work early enough). Solid teriyaki, great potstickers, reasonable prices, generous portions(enough so to have some leftovers, even). Simple menu, quick turnout… Great little cart.

Back in my PSU days, I had a class that ended at 11:50 and was across the street from the carts on 4th ave — so I ate at those carts a lot and this was my favorite. For well under $ 10 you get: chicken, rice, gyoza, and salad. All of them are delicious. Also their potions are pretty generous, I’m a big eater and even I struggled to finish my meal most of the time, so you might end up leaving with 2 meals. I implore all my fellow vikings, or people in the area to give Dosirak a try

Such a great little food cart near PSU! For just $ 7 you get a lot of food, definitely check it out the next time you’re near campus and have a craving for teriyaki chicken!

I love Dosirak, everything is so delicious and the owners are very sweet. The chicken is always cooked perfectly and the salad dressing is very addicting. The only thing that makes me unhappy is the fact that I can’t eat there more often because of the distance between their cart and my work. :(

Holy, where have you been all my life? I generally consider college fair, and college students in general to lack taste. While, I admit, price is very important as an undergrad, most of my experience is rows of self-serve, shovel fulls, of tasteless restaurants, radiating out from most college campuses. Not so here. I grabbed a bento, expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised to have one of the top 5 bento experiences I have had. The salad is above average, the chicken was well done, a bit of the important char and still moist on the inside. The sauce, excellent. I would compare this favorably with Kokiyo in n, better than Tokyo grill in sw, and better than Bentoz.(I do my bento research)

Great food, large portion for $ 7 always leaves me enough rice for myself and the pigeons. Dislike the 50¢ debit charge but it’s understandable. The little potstickers are a nice touch. Been here a couple times and the salad is always fresh and they don’t skimp on the dressing. Recommended.

Nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. I tried some of the chicken teriyaki plate($ 7) which comes with tons chicken, brown or white rice, two dumplings, and salad. The chicken was nicely cooked so it was juicy and slightly charred, served with just the right amount of teriyaki sauce. I hate when the sauce it too sweet and everything is drenched in it. Glad they got it right here at Dosirak.

Seriously good food. $ 7 gets you a huge portion of white or brown rice, delicious grilled chicken, 2 little potstickers and a salad. The sauce is on the sweet side but there’s hot sauces available. The quality of food is spectacular. The people who run the cart are super nice and friendly. This is a must try in this particular pod.

I was in Portland on business and decided on DoSiRak for lunch. It was everything I could ask for from a food cart or restuarant. Good, fresh food at a fair price served quickly and with a smile. I loved it.

I spent much of this summer(2012) wringing my hands and hoping and praying that Dosirak would, in fact, open up again come September. It’s not uncommon in Portland’s cart scene for a place to close for a specified period of time, never to reopen again(RIP Gin Northern Thai). Having received confirmation recently that they are, in fact, open again, I’m seriously rejoicing. Dosirak serves delicious, beautifully charred, sauced-with-balance chicken teriyaki. You get your choice of white or brown rice. I always order the #1 which includes the chicken and rice, along with a salad and a couple gyoza. One meal always equals two lunches(salad, gyoza, small portion chicken/rice on day one, and the remaining chicken and rice on day 2). Both meals are filling, and you get serious bang for your buck. This is some of the best teriyaki in town, folks. Get some.

What’s an indication of a fantastic food cart? A long line and a focused menu. Dosirak just reopened today for the school year and, eagerly waiting some delicious teriyaki chicken, I ventured there today. The woman is very kind, I totally wanted to give her a hug! The food itself is solid. The chicken is tender with the perfect amount of sauce. The mandoos are fantastic, crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. The white rice is cooked just right and the salad is dressed evenly and came plentifully.(And they do offer brown rice, for those who prefer it.) What I’m trying to say is, go there now. Just do it. You won’t regret it.
