Such a fun find while walking the Alberta Arts District. My husband is actually the one that saw the sign directing us off the main run for this little shop. It’s one of those shops that is so bright and cheery that you feel happy as soon as you enter the shop.
There is all kinds of happy here to discover. I loved all of the pineapple, watermelon, and cat products. There was a wall of funny cards and small posters. Basically, the shop had everything I need for my craft room. They also have pins, bags, party supplies, notepads, and other random themed items. The shop is clean and merchandise is well organized.
I found all kinds of great watermelon and pineapple themed items for my mom. She has loved pineapple and watermelon items before it was cool. Such a trend setter. I found fun cat items for myself as well. It’d be hard to come into this store and not find a gift for a friend, family member, or yourself.

A friend recently tipped me off to this amazing store and I got to visit during my most recent trip to Portland.
I’m really into enamel pins and patches and this place has amazing inventory. They also have a cute selection of birthday party supplies, cards, wrapping paper and knick-​knacks.
I’ve also ordered from their online store and had a great experience as well.
So long as they stay in business I know I’ll be stopping by whenever I’m in the area.

Sassy, sweet, empowering and sarcastic. This place feels like everything I’ve ever liked on Pinterest all rolled up into a one stop accessory shop. No longer are my lapels bare, rather they announce for all to see my love of snacks and my supreme overconfidence. Kitten faces, dinosaurs, flowers and Nerd classics like Star Wars are all represented here in pin and patch form. They also have stationary, mugs, cards and little nifty gifty types of things.
If this review motivates you to walk in the door rest assured you will find something you can’t live without. One last piece of advice though, buy a blind box. They are so good, trust me.

SO. CUTE. OH. MY. GOD.
I’ve heard of this store but never had a plan to go. That is until my friend from out of town went there and then showed me all the cute goodies she bought. So this morning I made a point to go.
They sell a lot of adorable and quirky stationary and pins/​patches/​etc. They sell things that a friend of mine makes from back home in California and so it was really awesome to see her stuff being sold in a shop up here. I bought a cat lady pin, a bag of discounted greeting cards (they will come in handy!). I also bought one of their mystery boxes for $ 20. If there is something you should know about me its that I LOVE mystery boxes. This one was filled with lots of cute things, plus the box it came in is perfect storage for all my stationary I just aquired.
The girl who rang me up was also super sweet and she had a dog with her in the shop so it made it even better. Thank you Darling Distraction, I will be back!

Ah, what a fun little shop. There is obviously thought about what is displayed. Lots of unique cards, office accessories, and jewelry. The wallpaper is awesome. There was nothing I had to have to O got one of their grab boxes that are stacked by the front door. Inside was a necklace that my Mom will love for her birthday, a couple cards, note pads etc. great options to have stashed away for a last minute hostess gift or small birthday present. I wish I had grabbed 3. It came wrapped, so sweet. As a last note their bags, boxes, and business cards are all high quality– I think they understand it’s the little details that leave a lasting impression.

So many cool, kitschy and fun pins, patches, cards and little gifts for your friends, family or yourself. Definitely geared toward women, but I’m a man who appreciates whimsy and fun. Kimmy K. would love this place!

a sweet little card and gifty shop. this place is so cute it’s hard to describe, so small, yet spacious. Pinky, Grey, cool lighting.
Black Friday sale items and year round items. Edgy cards, christmas cards.
Remember to head a little further down NE 16th past the little bookshop on the corner. It’s worth it.
I wish that they had a little more storefront or signage. Such a nice little business. Owner’s doggie to greet you at the door, too.

One of my new favorite stores! If my mind was a card and gift shop, this would be it! I love the wallpaper, the cards, the
gifts, the tables, the displays… EVERYTHING! I want to just live here! And the owner was super nice as well! I got the coolest yellow notepad ever… just love!

Cute amazingness *^_​_​^*. The owner is beyond sweet and very helpful too. Perfect place to grab an adorable card and lil’ gifts (mostly feminine) or party décor.
The only thing about this place that is not awesome — -is the no return policy (none whatsoever on all items), which unfortunately isn’t communicated at all until after the fact… so if you buy a bunch of cards for someone and aren’t sure which one you’ll use… you can’t return the ones you didn’t. It’s still an adorable place, but they should have that info prominently posted somewhere. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a store with that strict of a return policy on even unopened, unused, items (i.e. Cards?!). It’s unfortunate. :(

This hidden shop is ON 16th, right off of Alberta. Its next to a cute childrens store called Green Pea. It’s hard to see at first but keep walking on 16th, and when you walk in, you will be tickled pink with the clean lines and plethora of cards and notebooks galore! A great place if you’re planning a party or want to get someone you love a card that states «I made an effort».
I loved everything they had in here, from the cards to the stickers and wrapping paper, to the notebooks (of which I bought 6)!
I also bought these great pens that look like pencils— a sure fire way to prevent coworkers from stealing my pens!
The owner Karina was SUPER nice, and very helpful. I liked that she greeted my husband and I and offered help, but didn’t harass us like some places can do.
Go check this place out, they are new to the Alberta District and will make an excellent addition to the area!
