Cajun & Grill

For quick and cheap you’ve come the right place. Everything is pretty dry. I hate to say it but Panda Express would have been the better choice if I had an option. I only had a few bites of my boyfriends plate so maybe it got better with time but based on the other reviews, it doesn’t sound like it.

Save yourself! Turn around and go somewhere else.
If there was a way to rate this place negative stars, I would. As soon as the plate was opened, it was pretty obvious that something wasn’t right. If it wasn’t spoiled, it definitely SMELLED spoiled.
Not even going to bother telling them. There’s no way they can’t smell it when it’s sitting there right in front of them.

Lloyd Center Food Court Restaurant — 3^rd Floor
So this place is kind of like Chinese Fast Food a la Panda Express only they have a Cajun theme so they’re serving up an interpretation of Cajun/​Creole Food. I say interpretation because the food had some of the elements, but not one single item packed any degree of heat (spice) that New Orleans Cajun/​Creole Food is known for. I love Cajun Food because it possesses very agressive flavors and just lights up a fireworks show in one’s mouth, but not here!
I had the Two Meat Combo:
which is a perfect example of how looks can be deceiving because it looks great, BUT the food was not only luke warm (temerature inside a Bantha,) but the food was rather bland. What you are looking at is their «Honey & Lemon Chicken» and their «Bourbon Chicken» with a side of ½ Red Beans & Rice and ½ their Chow Mein like noodles.
I did like the fact that they did not put too much breading on the chicken making for a nice crunch and they properly covered both types of chicken with sauce and despite both types of chicken being nice and tender they just lacked the assertive flavoring I was looking for. The Red Beans & Rice were actually tasty and cooked to the proper temperature, but the noodles were a total fail. They lacked a delicious flavoring and they weren’t cooked properly being slightly mushy.
Service was pretty nice. Nothing over the top or to speak about, but it certainly was not bad.
I simply could not get past the food’s temperature or lack of flavor. The food left this reviewer… sleepy! Zzz
