This is one of the finest free cartoon all-important. She also has weekly specials. Southern macaroni and cheese, gumbo, po boys. .and boudin balls.

I finally got to check out Stash the Gumbo after hearing about it for months from fellow phans and I’m kicking for not visiting sooner. I ordered a large gumbo since it seemed appropriate given the name and also tried some of the cornbread. Both were excellent. Got to meet the owner too; she was super personable and filled my order lightning fast since I told her I had a meeting I needed to get to. The only knock on this place from my perspective is that is isn’t across the street from me at TidBit. Next time I want to try one of their po boys — the pot roast one with horseradish sauce sounded awesome. It took me a minute to find the area but it is right across the streetcar start on MLK.

Damn good Cajun food! The place disappeared from the cart area for a while. They would offer samples and I was always glad to get some. I was bummed when they left. Suddenly today they are back and I’m eating good.

The cajun-creole menu includes Gumbo, Etoufee, Po’Boys, and Biscuits. Even when it feels like 2000 degrees outside, the panda samples the gumbo. Very good flavor. Panda approved. I’ve heard a lot about«debris,» succulent, juicy roast beef in a sandwich. To me, it’s Louisiana’s version of the French Dip. Add some horseradish mayo. Sold. As far as biscuits go, you can’t go wrong with standard biscuits and gravy. There are also a couple of sweet options here. This cart opened in February 2014 at the Central Eastside pod and has been at the A-15 pod since late May. Great cart with wonderful food!

After a few unsuccessful attempts to catch them open I got to try this hidden little cart. Love me Southern-Cajun-Creol food. One of my favorite dishes is Ettoufee, the taste can vary wildly from place to place. Unfortunately, I was not a fan this version; and the small size for $ 4 is quite small. Conversely, the crawfish wontons were delicious, I recommend letting them cool for five minutes if you’re disciplined enough. I don’t think the very kind owner offers any drinks which is kinda odd. Word of mouth really needs to kick-in as the cute little cart is difficult to see from busy Alberta. Looking forward to trying the Gumbo and PoBo and raising the Star rating.

This place is fantastic! Better Cajun food than I’ve had a brick and mortar restaurants in Portland. The new location at né Alberta and 15th is pretty nice. The crawfish wontons are ridiculously good especially for $ 3. I could only finish half the catfish poboy and the remoulade was money. They even had good veggie options for my buddy, which was a surprise for a Cajun joint. Christine the owner was super nice and even hooked us up w a coupon. Def coming back again!

Fantastic food. I ordered the pot roast po boy with horseradish and grilled/carmelized onions as well as a cup of the gumbo and it was great. Can’t wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu.
