Owner picked off the jalapeños from the bagel to make it a «cheese» bagel while my 2 year old yelled at him, «where’s my bagel?». The nicest people ever! Always remember my name and my drink/food preferences.

This was a cheap, quiet establishment that has great food, great atmosphere, great staff. Very homely feel, free wifi. Great for a first or second date and not far from larger, livelier venues. Right off Martin Luther King and open early. Try any of the teas or breakfast sandwiches. You will come back 4 more

This was my first cute coffee shop visit here in Portland and it was a wonderful introduction. The inside is very homey, small, and comfortable. The cashier and barista were very warm and welcoming. Don’t even get me started on the tea; it’s amazing! We ordered the Earl Grey and Silver Tipped Jasmine teas for here and they were so good. We also ordered a giant chocolate chip cookie and it put us at only 7 bucks! If you’re looking for a quiet, warm, and cozy spot, this is the place for you.

I’ve loved this place since it opened. It was always my favorite neighborhood hangout when I lived nearby and I still go when I’m near. I didn’t think the new owners could ever replace the original sisters who started it, but they’ve done a stellar job. They make my cappuccino the way I like it and make a good effort to keep GF treats in the case.

This is a very nice little local coffee spot. Nice outside porch and patio to sit and enjoy your morning joe. They have very good pastries. Got a piece of coffee cake. Definitely PLENTY to share. They were displaying some very nice photos — not sure who the artist was, but enjoyed them. Prices are very fair. Nice to buy local!

Very friendly people. Cute little home with ample inside and outside seating. Had the jalapeño and cheese lox and bagel. Simply delicious. Took another Unilocaler’s comments about the bagel. If you can get an inside seat(8 – 10) it’s quiet and comfy. I preferred the seat ouside in the nice cool weather to watch the people and cars pass by. On a side street so not noisy or any problems with car smells.

I really like the home-like atmosphere of this place. Yummy and generously-sized pastries! Please be aware that these people do not mess around with their Mayan Mocha. Not sure if the lid to the cayenne pepper fell off or if they always make it so spicy — but it was good if you like a serious kick with your mocha.

Good coffee drinks. Good baked goods. The place is clean and the staff friendly. I’m glad to have another choice in my neighborhood that isn’t Starbucks.

Best coffee shop in Woodlawn. Great coffee, food and pastries. Service is among the best in the neighborhood. They have a nice little table that’s a good place to read on rainy days. The porch out front is a great spot too. Can’t go wrong here!

Discovered this hidden gem of a coffee house while getting my car repaired around the corner. We try to return at least once a week — they have the Greatest praline cookies ever and they make a winning vanilla latte. The people are friendly, both the employees and the other people in the«house». Well, it’s really ½ of a duplex, with the Bakery on the other side.

Love it. Love the vibe, the people and most importantly, the coffee. Started our Saturday morning here with an iced, soy, lavender latte. The lavender wasn’t too sweet and provided just enough flavor to enhance the coffee. It’s a pretty awesome spot too and the food menu is impressive. They seem to cater to gluten allergies and preferences and have a large selection of pastries. I have a feeling we will be regulars at this coffee shop. Oh — they also have kick-ass tip jars.

What’s not to love? Great local coffee shop with friendly staff. Coffee game is on-point. I have had many many impressing lattes made by these friendly baristas. The space is cozy with a few little tables and as well as outdoor seating. Pastries are out of this world and made daily. When I worked close by we were always stocking up on muffins to impress clients at meetings. I’ve tried a few sandwiches all of which were delicious. You can pretty much always find something satisfying to pair with your coffee. I’ve noticed a lot of reviews note the«no attitude» and they’re completely right. Just a welcoming little place to enjoy a beverage.

Best service in Woodlawn. Zero attitude, always friendly staff who know your name, delish veggie sammies and hot beverages(hemp milk hot cocoa, yum!) and a totally welcoming vibe. Their updated patio also is awesome and the garden is lovely! Glad after some disturbing experiences at the other coffee shop in the neighborhood that these folks are here. They also have wifi yet you don’t see solo laptoppers taking all the tables — here people socialize(what a concept!). My only wish is that the bakery next door bring back those awesome savory pastries — the Cuban one was insane :) Greg & Monica — you and your team rock!

I love love love this place. Tip jar battles where you vote for one option or the other, i.e. «Phil Collins vs Peter Gabriel», Trailhead coffee, delicious and affordable gluten-free pastries, cheap breakfast sandwiches and paninis… it’s just the best. Get the caprese sandwich!!!

Discovered this joint this morning when driving down Alberta trying to find an empty study spot(don’t Unilocal and drive!!) and have been absolutely delighted with our diversion to Rosa Parks Way! Located in a renovated house, my friend and I fell in love as soon as we walked in! The girl working the counter said it had been surprisingly slow as we fired question after question about the locale and the locals. Apparently run by regulars, this petite paradise is clean, cozy and comfortable. My friend and I have been sitting here(alone!) for the past three hours with only people coming in and out for their orders! I can see how this place could get a little cramped when it’s busy, but I will definitely be returning here for the quiet music, great décor/lighting/service and the EXCELLENT coffee!!!

Café Eleven is great. We hosted my baby shower there last month and had such a great time. The café closed a little early on Sunday for our private event. We set up our own food and decorated. Café Eleven provided amazing drinks for the day. I enjoyed a blueberry lavender Italian soda. So delicious. Thank you so much to everyone at Café Eleven for helping make my day so very special.

I’m backing it! Run by a couple the place is like going to coffee and your friends cool house the cool house that is clean clean clean! I just stopped in for a coffee and even though they were closed dude said«come on in!». I had the iced coffee it’s from a local roaster that is «bike powered». It’s good good good! Stop on by and chillllll it’s hot out there! Oh and since I have a little more time I’d like to also add. The café is or was one side of a duplex so that definitely adds to the whole«over to a friends house for coffee» ambiance. I don’t know about you but atmosphere is pretty important when going somewhere to have a cup. Maybe it makes everything taste better or worse but when it compliments a drink that’s a good thang.
