They did a great job our 2015 Forester. All of the communication was positive and professional. They worked seamlessly with our insurance company and when found more damage than expected they still got the work done on time.

Excellent work and excellent service. Given this was out of pocket and not an insurance claim, it was a little pricey but I didn’t get multiple estimates so I imagine you get what you pay for. The SUV looks better than before in the areas they repainted.

Fantastic experience. I live near them and until recently didn’t own a car and as soon as we bought one, we got rear-​ended by a negligent driver. State Farm referred us to VIP, and we were able to go right over, they took pictures, got the part ordered, worked with the insurance company and within a few weeks of the accident our car was ready and is good as new! VIP is a no-​nonsense team who knows their stuff and are a great part of the Woodlawn community. Highly recommend.

Easy to work with, to get a quote, and they worked around my schedule. I had the entire passenger side of my car replaced and re-​painted. The work itself was really great — I was told by guys in the industry (mechanic and dent repair). Also, they seamlessly worked with the insurance (from the other car at fault) to get any additional funds that were needed.

Unlike Mackin’s, VIP is honest, quick and good at what they do. I couldn’t be happier with how they handled every detail of my repair job, Great communication throughout.

The folks at VIP Collision Center are true professionals and did a fantastic job restoring my car to its old self. In fact, they made it look event better. To my eyes it looks brand new! They went above and beyond to repair and retouch even the smallest details on my car. The estimate process was easy and quick and then when they got to work it was in a reasonable amount of time. Another nice touch was that they washed and cleaned my car inside and out before returning it to me.
I won’t take my car anywhere else now for body work. Do yourself a favor, if you need an auto body shop, at least come in here and get an estimate. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you, VIP!

Ultimately, it’s the quality of the work that determines how good a body shop is, and VIP Collision did not let me down in that department; they did excellent work at a reasonable price. But it was the customer service that really was exceptional. They put a lot of thought into the estimate, giving me different options. And at every step of the way, they took a lot of pride in their work and I always got the impression that they wanted to do the best possible job.

Great spot for affordable body work. The staff are incredibly helpful and go well out of their way to provide the best service. My last time there was fantastic. I live nearby and had a deflated tire with a lug nut that wouldn’t budge. I popped over to VIP for help, and Brandon volunteered to bring an air tank back to my place to get me up and running again. On top of that, he recommended a great tire place that ended up saving me a bunch of cash.
I’ve had some fender damage repaired previously at VIP and the service was top notch. I’ve actually got some similar damage now and will definitely be returning.

Great body shop. Really was helpful when letting me know when my car was going to be done. Very communitive. Deffinetly would go back to them for auto body work.

I have been fixing my Scion at VIP Collision for several years. This is the best shop, the best customer service, the best quality and quickest repair time you can find in Portland. I have recommended VIP to my closest friends. They know how to assist you in times you need help in the most friendly way. Highly recommend.

Augie (possibly misspelled, but he’s Bulgarian, so it is an Americanization anyway), the owner, works Saturdays, unlike other body shops in general. No body work, but he’s there to catch up on business, handle customer accommodations, etc.
When I brought my mini in for an estimate he was great on the phone, and great in person. He couldn’t get a price on my windshield at the moment, but his admin who is both competent and friendly, called me back Monday with the $$ numbers.
I had minor work done, but they got it done right, on time, and professionally. I will heartily recommend them.

I had a really good experience at VIP recently. I love the convenience of this local repair shop right in my neighborhood, and the front desk gal, Laya, was fantastic: personable, efficient, honest. They even took care of returning my rental car for me. The only ding I can give them is that the repair took a few days longer than I was quoted. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

A VIP is certainly what I was treated like at this awesome auto body shop. After moving on to a busy street my little silver fox had gotten sideswiped not once, but twice. Hit and runs both times, so thank goodness for my insurance company. I decided on VIP since it’s pretty much next door to my office so thought it would be convenient. Convenient is an understatement!
My entire driver’s side of my car needed to be replaced, and really since she’s a bit geriatric, she probably should’ve been totaled. While doing my estimate I made sure to explain that I really didn’t want to get a new car or have a salvage title car, so could they do whatever was needed to fix ‘er up as pretty as they could. They quoted right under the total limit, so my baby could be saved. They had my car for a week, and made the drop-​off, pick up and rental car service super easy. I think including estimate, drop-​off and pick-​up I was only in the office for 10 minutes or less. The quality of work is amazing and my baby looks prettier than when she was new. Customer service was spectacular as well.
Hopefully I won’t have to patronize VIP any time soon, but I highly recommend them if you need some auto body work done.
Oh, and they paid my insurance deductible — so my total out of pocket expense to fix my ride was $ 0!

This is the first time I have been moved to write a review for an auto body shop. After getting in a front fender bender downtown in my trusty but undervalued Toyota Camry station wagon, I spent hours searching online, asking friends and visiting several of the many auto body shops in and around Portland. My problem was pretty straightforward: since I was paying for the entire repair out-​of-​pocket. I needed to work with a team of craftspeople who would work with me on a fair bare bones price without sacrificing quality or integrity. I found it with Oggie and his staff at VIP Collision Center. The estimate was quick and painless, the facilities clean and the work was excellent. Not only was the estimate lower than other 5 star establishments, but Oggie got my car in the same week and done over the weekend. He took a bad situation and made it better and for that I can easily recommend VIP Collision Center to you.

VIP collision has repaired two cars for me, one a 2005 Pontiac GTO and the other my 2007 Corvette.
Both times I was very impressed with the quality of their work. With my corvette, after a couple of days I noticed a spot where some a couple particles had gotten stuck in the clear coat on the bumper they painted (I only noticed it because I hand wash and wax the car. I doubt anyone else ever would ever have). I called VIP, and they took my car back in for a day to sand and polish that spot free of charge, and the owner even paid for a rental car for me for the day out of his own pocket.
Also, Laya, their receptionist/​secretary/​insurance ass-​kicker takes all of the hassle out of dealing with insurance and puts up with 0 BS from them. She was totally accommodating when I asked to see my cars in various stages of the repair, and when I was picky about what parts they used for repair, and when I wanted to know how they were going to do X, Y, and Z etc. etc.
And they paid my deductible. VIP has absolutely earned my repeat business and recommendation.

I have had two fender benders in which VIP came to my rescue. In both instances, they took care of dealing with the insurance, so that I didn’t even have to think about it. My first experience found me dealing with an uninsured driver, so VIP covered the deductible and kept my out-​of-​pocket expenses at a bare minimum. The work was done to my satisfaction and my car was delivered to me at home. I could not have been happier with their work and the service I received.
The second accident found a stalling insurance company, but Laya (sp?) was on it and kept me updated along the way. I was most impressed with what happened after the fact, however. The rental company made an egregious accusation regarding a dent in the rental that I handled with kid gloves over the course of a week. Laya went far beyond the call of duty (again), as her words and negotiation made it a non-​issue and my stress was immediately alleviated. This was AFTER my car was repaired and returned. This was something that she really didn’t have to do, so I commend her on every level. I appreciate her more than I can express in this review.

Laya was so helpful in getting my car fixed. I was in a car accident where the other driver was at fault, and her insurance company did everything they could to stall and make it difficult. VIP was there for everything, from meeting the insurance company’s appraiser to covering the amount (10%) they wouldn’t pay. I highly recommend them for making a stressful situation so much easier.

My Toyota Rav 4 was recently damaged and I took it to VIP Collision for an estimate. The estimate was free and I was able to take the car whenever I wanted. Laya at the front desk is AMAZING. She is so helpful and kept me up to date with how my car was coming along. The paint job included repainting the car and the stripe and I was extremely impressed. I really hope I don’t have a reason to go here again, but if anything happens to my car, this is my first stop.
