Best pizza in NE Portland, and probably Portland as a whole. I always get a slice of cheese and pepperoni and eating them is the greatest feeling in the world! They have a quiet dining area and counter as well. Art pieces hang on the wall across from the register. Nice employees and awesome service; you won’t regret eating here!

Super tasty! The staff was really friendly, but more importantly the food was delish. Good beer on tap and fresh food. Love the location.

Love stopping in here for a quick bite and a bev. Perfect type of pie for a twice heated slice… read through the Mercury… listen to some loud music and head on back out to whatever it is you are doing. Today I was trying to do the«little boxes» local shopping thing and I did get codes from a couple stores on Alberta and Broadway but wound up just noting many many more that I walked by and didn’t go in. We determined I’m way better at eating and drinking than I am at shopping :) Anyway — they have a frequent flyer card so if you go more often it’s worth getting the counter folks to give you a stamp/hole punch.

Solid place to grab a slice if you’re walking down Alberta. New York style pizza. A little oily for my taste, but the price is right and it’s quick and ready when you need it.

We have been here a few times, have always gotten a solid pizza. They are made to order and come out quickly. I would recommend getting an order of garlic knots too(only a small if there are just 2 of you, we made the mistake of a large order once, way too much with a pizza!) They have just a few beers to choose from as well. Even if there is a small line, it always moves fast. They have outdoor seating in the front as well as a patio out back. I haven’t been there when you can’t sit outside but I would imagine it can get tight because the inside isn’t that big. I have noticed that they don’t always rotate the slices, so I would ask them what their freshest ones are if you are just getting a slice.

While visiting Portland, I tried many of the vegan choices. We ended up at Bella Faccia Pizzeria after hiking one day. We were tired and wanted something quick & simple. We had a vegan pie with spinach, mushrooms, and eggplant. Damn it was good! Paired with a micro brew IPA and the cool evening air, man you couldn’t get a better place to relax. They have regular pizzas as well. Next time I am in town I will be back!

Pizza was pretty decent. I think getting a slice would have been a better idea. It felt a little expensive for what it is. Ordered take-out, so didn’t deal with employees a lot, but the girl that rang us up was being weird and aloof. She wouldn’t acknowledge us for like 5 minutes even though no one else was there. It was kind of off-putting. It’s cool if you’re busy but you could at least nod or something, right? Oh, I really liked the garlic knots though. I recommend them.

Were doing a pizza tour of Portland and we started with Bella Faccia because it is close to home. The pizza is very flavorful. The crust was perfect: thin and crisp and chewy. All of our group gave the pizza a 8 or 9 out of 10, when I asked what specifically would you change to make it a 10, everyone said they couldn’t give it a 10 just because it was our first pizza on the tour, hardly fair to the yummy pizza.

When all hope for Portland as a potential new home was lost, Bella faccia pizzeria saved the day. Mom and I were ready to call it a night and seriously reconsider Portland as a whole but then our stomachs forced us out of the hotel. Alberta street is the atmosphere I’ve been looking for. Super casual pizza joint. People were super nice even when my mom dropped her slice on the ground in a heavy front door mishap(gave her a new free slice). Pizza was great along with garlic knots and Cesar salad. A bit too much parmigiana cheese for my taste.

They serve slices, but I prefer ordering a whole fresh pie. Has nice back patio for summer months. Its definitely NYC style — thin and a large will serve 4 adults, 2 large slices a piece. The salad was stellar here — v. large. The bad news was our order for the kids«blew away» with the fan and was lost and we had starving anxious kids as we were served well before them. We were given slices in place of the lost order, but I believe we should have been credited the pie or maybe its just because I couldn’t stand the hunger meltdown of 4 kids under the age of 12.

Really good slices, very chill place. Gets my vote as most underrated pizza place in Portland. They always have great beers on tap and their deserts are great. It’s far enough down on Alberta to avoid being swamped with tourists or kids, another plus for me. Almost as good as Sizzle Pie in interesting combinations(follow them on Instagram), plus great service!

I like to come in here at lunch for a slice. This place has good character, natural lighting, and rotating art on the walls. I usually go for one of the special one-off slice. It consists of a combo of meat and veg, sometimes just meat. The names of the slices can be clever, like«million dollar quarterback» They also offer Vegan, Cheese, and your standard pepperoni. Rotating taps of beer and cider, an assortment of sodas and they offer hard liquor. Bus your own tables — outside seating, and family friendly. Random, Killer music playing. At my last visit I dined there to contribute to the Raphael House Charity. Friendly, direct service.

Ginormous pizza with quality toppings. I personally adore the roasted garlic topped spinach salad. They give a discount to people who work on Alberta street too!

I really liked the vegan pizza here! I have been touring Portland pizza places that offer a vegan version. I would recommend getting the cashew cheese… so delicious! I also liked the pizza that we got eggplant on… anytime I can get something a little different from ordinary is truly appreciated! Staff was very friendly and accommodating!

We were trying to find a quick dinner place on a weekday and discovered this quiet pizza place. We ordered the cheese slices. The pizza was good except for the thin crust being a little too well done. The cheese and the sauce was good though. Next time i would try out their vegan slices and the garlic knots before updating my review. Overall a nice pizza joint among the many in that area.

We got the happy hour pricing on our PBRs a little early which was super kind and appreciated. The pizza we sampled was pepperoni(yum) and some pun about Pi or Math or something with peppers and mushrooms and canadian bacon. My pepperoni was one of the greasiest I’ve ever had, I used like four napkins and I never use napkins for pizza. I’d get it again but yeah, it’s a greaseball for sure. The crust was blackened without tasting burnt which has my respect and glowing adulation. I’m a fan. It was a casual experience and I enjoyed it. It’d be nice if the beer list was a little more dynamic. But PBRs are just fine in my book. Reg pint price, IIRC is 1.75. NICE!

This is one of my most favorite pizza places in PDX. The crust is perfect for my liking and the toppings they put on by the slice pizza are all the toppings I dream of. They also have great salads! YUM!

5-star all the way! In a world of crappy service, these guys still get it! I ordered a large pizza(half mushrooms) and that’s what they made. BUT… my hubby didn’t realize this and went on saying we hadn’t ordered mushrooms. Instead of easily arguing, they threw in 4 slices of cheese at no cost!!! My hubby told me the story and I immediately called to say we’d pay for the slices tomorrow. The response I got was an instruction to just enjoy them! EATHERE. BUYLOCAL. GIVETHESEGUYSYOURMONEY. They will make it worthwhile! Thank you Bella Faccia for getting it!

Their vegan pizza sounded ahh-maze-balls. They had me doing cashew cream happy dances in my dreams! It turned out to be perfect timing when my parents were in town and after a long day my dad confessed he was tucked out and just wanted to stay home and have some pizza. For a quick instant, I thought, oh I can whip up us some pizzas. But no, let’s all just lay back and enjoy the #pdxeats bounty the city has to offer. I read the reviews on Unilocal about the pizza here and convinced the husband it would be a good idea to stray from the reg(Girasole in St. Johns). We got a small vegan pie for $ 17 that contained what claimed to be vegan cashew cheese(it seemed like it melted into the marina??), tempeh, eggplant, roasted peppers and mushroom, a large pine and swine($ 24) and a large verde salad($ 8). This was a pick up delivery and usually I don’t comment too much on service, but the gal doing the transaction was not happy to be there. This is always a sign. You never see a sad-face employee at Chipotle, do you? The best way to describe this is flat. We found ourselves adding extra virgin olive oil to the salad, non-vegan pizza coming across as nothing special and vegan pizza coming across as expensive cheese-less pizza. I would not come back here, with all the other places to nosh pizza in Portland. The lesson here is that Portland food/drink scene has become saturated with certain things and I have millions of options to keep busy.
