They do a good job. I went there for breakfast. Had the salmon on ciabatta. I was still a bit hungry afterwards, but everything looked really good.

I’m so fortunate to have this place close to my work. I go here frequently for lunch and it never gets old. They have the best specials that rotate daily.

Quaint small sandwich shop which focuses on fresh healthy fare, unfortunately they missed the mark by a long shot when i went in. The tuna was half decent but the roast beef is basically a slab of meet thrown on to a cold Kaiser roll slapped with some mayonnaise and pickles. Not much there creatively, wont be returning.

I don’t usually review sandwich shops but Addy’s will be an exception. It’s a cozy shop with many uncomplicated sandwiches, salads and soups to choose from. Their Turkey baguette was f*cking rad! Their lentil soup was as expected; simple! Which is good! Prices are very reasonable. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area!

Our office ordered sandwiches and dessert from Addy’s Sandwich Bar to be delivered by a delivery service. The food was barely edible. When we complained, Addy’s actually told us we didn’t appreciate or understand Portland’s tastes. On the bright side, our order was 50% refunded. I am tempted to try it again seeing all these great reviews because it’s definitely not what our experience was.

Just had a 100% awesome salad… beets, kale, chicken salad, hard boiled eggs and avocados, pistachios, lemon zest and cranberries … If I lived here, I would be a regular. Fresh ingredients, lots of variation and nice people!

Great location, courteous staff and my chicken pesto panini was tasty, although it could’ve benefitted from another cherry tomato: P Oh! And the lemon ginger zinger(?) tea was soooooo tasty.

Visiting Portland for a few days. This has been my favorite! I had their pâté/cornichons sandwich. It brought me back to France where I am originally from. They make the pâté in house. Fabulous! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

Delicious, and so friendly! Everything I’ve had here is fantastic, particularly my reg, the cucumber and Brie. These folks really know what they’re doing, and it’s great to see a popular cart turned brick and mortar!

Nice little place, friendly staff, but the food was kinda weird. The chilled ginger-carrot soup had doughy lumps, the baguette was stale and chewy, and the mango smoothie was room temperature. Wish I’d gotten the Power Salad — the choices looked excellent.

I visited Addy’s for the first time this week. The place is so cute and to be honest, I love the large, black and white drawing of the face of a cat on the outside. I was in the mood for something a little more healthy so the Power Salad seemed like just the right choice. They have three salads to choose from for the base(I chose kale and quinoa). Then there are three proteins to choose from(I chose the curry chicken salad). Then the salad is topped with avocado, a hard boiled egg and a sunflower seeds. So great! I was going to stick with water but after I ordered, I noticed they had Lemon Ginger Elixir. It was a little oversweetened with honey for my taste but most people would probably think it’s just right. Looking forward to my next visit to Addy’s and taking fellow food lovers with me. :)

I walked by this gem while visiting portland. It’s a tiny café with limited seating, but good for 1 – 2 people. I sat at the bar window and enjoyed people watching during my lunch. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And for only 2 people they are fast and with good results. I ordered the ham melt and kale salad. The sandwich was absolutely delicious. It has Gruyère, ham, Dijon and pickles on a baguette. All of the ingredients were perfect– I almost ordered it without the pickles, but am really glad I didn’t change a thing. Serious Yums! The kale salad was good and fresh, but I found it a tad bit bland. But it was a nice pairing with my sandwich. I would recommend stopping by for yourself. :-)

Addy’s Power Salad is a great choice for lunch! You get to pick the base, such as the turnip-barley thing I had, and the topping, like chicken pesto, and they top both with sunflower seeds, a sliced boiled egg and half an avocado. It’s a hefty, healthy portion for $ 7.50. I liked the simple, clean look of Addy’s and the quick and courteous service, too. We sat outside, at a table in front, and caught some rays while enjoying our food. The storefront is small, so sitting inside might be a bit claustrophobic when the weather’s bad, but I think they do lots of takeout business. If you’re in a hurry, just call ahead.

This has been one of my preferred lunch spots lately. I came here when they first opened a while back and recently recalled how good it was. They have a menu of about 10 sandwiches along with hot panini’s and salads. Most sandwiches are served on mini baguettes and some in ciabatta rolls. The bread, meats, and other ingredients are all fresh and delicious. I’ve had the curry chicken salad, chickpea spread, and ham and butter sandwiches before. The flavor combinations are well thought out and work together excellently. The buttery goodness of the ham sandwich is something I’ve been craving lately though I’ve been trying to force myself to branch out and try new items. Sandwiches are $ 7 – 9 and a good portion size that fills you up but doesn’t make you feel stuffed. I find it to be a much better option that Jimmy John’s, which is only a few blocks away. The shop can only seat about 10 people total with about the same number of seats available outside on a nice day. There aren’t any tables that could hold more than 4 at the absolute most so I wouldn’t come with more than that and plan on eating here. The service is very fast though so it’s almost as good as a grab n go option like Elephants.

I love Addy’s. She has creative flavor combinations that get you out of your food rut. She has healthy options for food and good beer in the bottle. Food is prepared in a timely fashion and the service is impeccable. Five stars for sure.

I never even knew they were a cart, but now I have a chance to do some serious catch-up and make up to them for my lack of knowledge by visiting here often to try more of their tasty French-inspired offerings. I was smart enough to get there by about 11:30 before any lunch rush started, so I was able to sit outside in the sun and relish my sandwich — glorious. This is a sophisticated-looking shop from the outside and inside it is all white and very clean and again tastefully decorated. It is organized for maximum efficiency. The menu is on a chalkboard from which you choose and order from a variety of upscale sandwiches, salads, and soups from a very pleasant cashier. He passes along your order to the two hard-working sandwich-makers/servers, and when your name is called, you get your sandwich and whatever else you have ordered. The line moves along at a nice rate and you feel well served but also never pushed through too fast. I ordered the roast beef and pickle sandwich with horseradish sauce. They were out of Kaiser rolls, but I was comfortable having it on a baguette instead. I usually have to ask for extra pickles on my sandwiches, but for once I got exactly the amount of delicious pickles without having to ask for more; this is a rare occurrence. The roast beef was gorgeous, pink and rare, and of a nice amount. The only thing off for me was the horseradish sauce. I realize they have to make it for a wide variety of tastes, but I got a horseradish tingle when I wanted some horseradish bark and bite. Still and all, it made for a nice sauce. You do have to gnaw away at the baguette, but a very worthwhile gnaw I would say. I also ordered a Tom’s Ginger Ale — nice complement to the sandwich. This nice shop staff pays attention to recycling and has everything clearly labeled so you can bus your own table without causing them extra work. I didn’t see it at first, but the nice servers pointed it out to me with a bit of pleasant conversation and big smile. This is a more-than worthwhile-addition to lunching up at this end of town. I could have sat there in the sun for far longer at lunch today, but since I’m going to return I’ll have to do that in the future. I hope you get a chance to do the same.

I went here recently and ordered the roast beef sandwich. It was delicious. It was prepared on luscious bread, horseradish sauce, and pickles right in the sandwich. It’s 5 stars for what it is: a small sandwich shop. It hits the mark! Great service too!

I had the country pâté, cornichons, and mustard sandwich. The combination of all three together was delicious. I’m a huge fan of pâté and I have to say Addy’s hit the spot. My only criticism was the baguette. Most other reviewers have said how fresh and tasty they were, but my bread was extremely hard to chew through. My jaw was tired after finishing the sandwich… Maybe I could ask for the baguette to be warmed next time? I dunno. But I do plan on returning for the same sandwich. I just hope the bread is chewable next visit. On a side note, the décor both inside and out and the subtle black and gold«Addy’s» sign on the window had me captured the whole time I was there. The color choices were on point. Whoever designed the place needs to decorate my apartment asap.

Everything looked awesome but the power salads were hard to beat. Got the kale power salad with pesto chicken and loved it. Great flavor! Overall this place was an awesome surprise I stumbled onto from out of town looking for a healthy lunch spot. The staff was also quick and very friendly. It’s a tiny joint so take to go if you are going during a busy lunch hour.
