Subway

This Subway location is par for the course. It is located in a convenient area downtown. And yet, there is plenty of competition in the adjacent blocks, not just from food carts, but also from the likes of Elephant’s Deli, Jimmy John’s, Mod Pizza, Starbucks and more, even for value. The food is okay as usual, nothing particularly good or bad about it.
It was getting close to an appointment, so I stopped by. The cashier quickly assembled me a six dollar combo of a six-​inch Meatball Marinara, chips and a fountain drink. The sandwich was edible, but not terribly decedent. Usually, I would not go here nor would I recommend doing so.
This is just like any other Subway in America.

I was really hungry the other day and tight on money. I went here and it was very good and cheap! I think the person thay helped me was named Mike or something like that. Great guy! Think he gave me extra but shhhhhh lol.

I overslept this morning, so on my way to the MAX stop, I made a flying stop here to pick up a sandwich for lunch. This is a newer Subway store, so everything looked all nice and shiny and bright clean, and the sandwiches are the usual tasty suspects for Subway. What made the difference for the five-​star rating was the sandwich artist. I unfortunately did not get her name, but she deserves recognition for being such a positive and efficient person and it’s all very natural and normal. While she helped me out, she also greeted other customers and never missed a step and got my order correct. While I didn’t get her name, she does have longish red hair. Subway if you read this review, please give her whatever recognition you have to give along with a raise. Make her a trainer or something. Her kind of service and way of dealing with things is something that would help many Subway customers and other Subway employees. Because of her I will not hesitate returning to this venue and ordering sandwiches when I’m in the market for them!
