Meh. The basic over priced red lobster. I live in Seattle, so my opinion is a bit jaded when I review self-proclaimed«fresh fish» restaurants that are 800 miles from the ocean. Unless cod swims in the American Falls reservoir, of course their fish are not fresh. I’m unsure how a big chain like red lobster can use such advertising when clearly it is not true for the Poky location. But their biscuits are awesome. I had the«pick 2» shrimp meal, and I chose the scampi and coconut shrimp. Tasted fine(probably because of the butter, heh) but quantity and quality were terrible. For $ 15(actual $ 18 … see below) I received 6 small scampi shrimp, and about 12 coconut shrimp. They were tiny! The 50-per-pound variety. Smaller than a quarter. See attached image. Also, they were sneaky with their ‘new’ sides options. When we sat down they pointed out 3 new side — including asparagus and tomato caprese. My mom’s and mine meal came with a side, so my mom picked the asparagus and me the caprese. They took the menus. Five minutes later, the waitress came back and said, oh by the way, those appetizers are $ 2.90 extra each. Um, what! They had already taken the menus! food taste: 4⁄5 quantity and quality: 2⁄5 service(up charges): 2⁄5 total = 8⁄15 = 3 stars

went to dinner with my brother, beers, great food, excellent service as always… went in right at 5pm and it was a little busy but not bad, didn’t effect the service at all, our waitress Riley was awesome… we did appetizers, salads, main courses and she didn’t bring everything at the same time, all in perfect, timely order… thanks Red Lobster… and Riley especially!!! …we’ll be back for sure!

One of my favorite places in Pocatello. Best seafood you can find in Poky. Lobster is always great and fresh and I never had to wait for my drinks. If they run out of your favorite food manager will buy you dessert. Does it has any faults? Well… they remodeled not long time ago I miss this big Red Lobster wooden figurine on a back wall and old style looked more authentic.

Yup. You got it. I’m writin’ a review of REDLOBSTER in Pocatello, Idaho. ‘Cause that’s what I do. Here’s the thing. I was visiting Pocatello for a month, so I went to Red Lobster three times because, well. it’s Pocatello, Idaho! But also because I love a table lousy with cheddar biscuits. Okay, here goes. I found the service extremely friendly, but also annoying at a few points. They need to dispense of: 1) asking patrons what brings them in. It’s simple — we want to eat your food. It’s an invasive question that sounds rehearsed 2) explaining the menu — most adults can navigate a menu, particularly one from a chain restaurant that they have likely been to. Also, theirs is VERY clear, what with pictures and exclamation points and bolded stuff 3) explaining the menu twice — in all my visits, both the host and the server separately spent quite a bit of time explaining the menu. I wanted to start stabbing my eyes with my fork :) 4) calling the servers«seafood experts.» OMG. Please. That is is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard and I will mock the next Red Lobster employee who says it because I am definitely coming back because your food is GOOD. Red Lobster is AMAZING for a chain restaurant. It’s a damn fine option when the only other option is Carl’s, Jr. But they must stop infusing their customer service with scripted, repetitive blah. It’s not worthy of them!

Red Lobster may be slightly over priced. But The food is pretty decent! I love crab and most the time theirs is good. The biscuits are one of the best things I think personally.

I have never been to a Red Lobster, because I don’t usually go in for cookie cutter«upper crust» fast food but this one was suggested and I thought why not? I had not eaten seafood in general for quite a while, so took a gamble with this joint. I had the admiral platter and could not finish it. The shrimp and all of the stuff that comes with tastes good enough but the portions are outrageous. Yeah, that complaint might sound bad, but these are Claim Jumper’s type of portions, so you will get your money’s worth. I also drank two of their Long Island Iced Teas(with Kettle One), which were great. Finished it off with an Irish Coffee.

It’s a good thing I live a good 35 – 40 min away cuz I’d get a lot of to-go orders of their stuffed mushrooms and parrot bay shrimp. Please don’t open a RL in IF… Or do…

If I had rated this place 10 years ago, it would have been a 5 star, but alas I feel like one of two things has happened: this restaurant has gone downhill or my taste buds have become more refined. The food is just okay. However, I always am satisfied with a bowl if clam chowder and munching on their cheesy biscuits!

What can I say. It’s a typical Red Lobster and the«catch of the day» fish is always tasty. This place looks like it was remodeled so it’s very pretty and clean. The only odd thing is that there is no bar area which is not typical of Red Lobster.

I’m embarrassed to say so, but this was my first time ever eating lobster. I was disappointed, all my life I’d been building it up in my head, imagining it to be nothing short of ambrosia, of dipping it into butter and the droplets falling off in slow-motion, like on the commercials. It was nothing like how I expected, but I should have figured as much considering I was dining at a chain restaraunt. The wait-staff was really on top of things, they were very apologetic when we tried to order things they were out of, which was quite a list, and they were helpful in suggesting alternatives. I won’t eat at a Red Lobster ever again, but at least I can add it to places I’ve eaten.

Their lobster tasted like chemicals. I like lobster to taste like … lobster. I sampled some other things our party got and the other things were better. The service was fine. I’ll pass.

Came here with my husband while we were in town for a trade show. The restaurant was clean and quiet and the staff was helpful and friendly. My husband and I split the 4 course for $ 15 and our waitress was happy to do it, she even brought us an extra plate for the main course and an extra spoon for dessert and we weren’t charged a fee for sharing. The food was well done and exactly as we ordered and came to our table in a reasonable amount of time. We will be in town for a few days and will most likely be back at least one more time.

Friendly, fast, and inviting staff. My drink never got empty. Good crab legs, they taste fresh. Went a couple times actually, both times was pleasant.

One of the nicer Red Lobsters I have been to. The food was good fresh on time. Drinks was strong. Staff friendly and nice. I actually went twice in one week. For dinner and them for lunch both times was nice. What more do can you want?

What do you get when you go to dinner with one of your best friends and your mom? The need for a bottle of wine! The last time I went to Red Lobster, the year started with a 1 not a 2… enuf said? Mom wanted to go to RL and so I begrudgingly accompanied her thinking that this was going to be a bad experience… fortunately, I was wrong. Our wait was a good 30 minutes but it went by quickly as we waited and laughed… our waitress was perfectly attentive while Ruth and I immediately agreed on a bottle of wine. It used to be that the baking powder bisquits with cheese and garlic and any number of other good and fattening ingredients, was the show stealer here. Now they are just so-so but the main courses were really good as we’re the salads. We all had something different with merely a crumb left… accept two biscuits that I wanted to eat but my stomach wouldn’t let me. I think it’s in cahoots with my spare tire! Although not inclined to run off to RL again I definitely think they have rallied there menu and staff, way to go Pocatello RL!
