There were 5 of us and the place was less than ½ full. We waited 40 minutes for this terrible stuff she was trying to pass off as food. The pancakes were burnt on the downside and the eggs with it were well done(they should’ve been scrambled as requested). The bacon was too crispy to eat, like eating a toothpick. The lettuce on the Chef’s salad was rotted and on the Turkey club. I asked what was in the turkey club and she mentioned ham, there was no ham. The sandwich bacon was way too crispy to eat and I only ate ¼ of it. Yechhh! The liver and onions were way over cooked and the liver was like shoe leather. The green beans were canned and unseasoned. The tator tots on three different plates were all left because they tasted freezer burnt and they were put in a fryer where the fish was fried, too. The menu claims to be «grouper sandwich» and when I asked about the grouper, she just shrugged her shoulders and said it was just white fish. This restaurant needs to be inspected since the woman cooking the food is the same one that takes your order and the same one that takes your money… no hand-washing in between was observed, ugh! Many more restaurants are over by the highway, I wished I had picked one of them, I was still hungry when I left Anna’s.

Awesome down home cooking. Had a great greasy spoon breakfast and the waitress/cook/owner was fabulous!

This is a quite lil hole in the wall. Simply place and the one gal Rita was kick butt and taking names, she was cooking and taking orders and serving tables. Everyone in the place seemed happy and relaxed. I love to support the local people and this place has my vote. Good luck guys

If you are committed to patronizing local establishments instead of chains then I guess this place might be for you. I must admit I found it to be the pinnacle of mediocrity. I guess the food is ok, but Kraft singles in a cheese omelette? I was not impressed and I know it’s a small business but I won’t be back.

What can I say? As good as it gets. I like to hunt small & local places through Unilocal(& other services alike) while I’m on business trips abroad. For my one day off on my week in Orlando I decided to visit some friends in Saint-Petersburg and looked for breakfast somewhere halfway the journey. 1 mile off the highway, on a parking lot wouldn’t have found if I had a satellite, I am welcomed by lovely Anna. Locals are reading their papers, talking about some renovation projects or having a quick bite before going to church. When I snap a picture of my breakfast Anna noticed and I had to tell her it’s mainly for the kids at home. This got me in a conversation with half of the diner where they all wanted to know how it’s like to live in Belgium. When was the last time you spent 90 minutes in a diner for breakfast? :D Should I mention breakfast was AMAZING? Simple but perfectly cooked omelette with grits and a side of bacon. Cooked with love, served with love, consumed with gratitude for this great experience.

We were starving! It was New Year’s Eve and we’d just come from the coast, doing a little manatee spotting and needed some grub before heading over to Dinosaur World. It felt like we drove forever, trying to find a single restaurant that was open for lunch. We found Anna’s through Google. It is close to Dinosaur World so we thought we’d give it a shot. When we got there, we saw that they were closing early because of the holiday. Still hungry, we headed back to the car but the owner saw us and yelled for us to come back in. She fired up the grill, after having cleaned up to close, just so we could eat. We felt badly, but she insisted. She was so nice and our daughter just loved her. And the woman can cook! The food was amazing and dirt cheap! This little place looks like a little hole in the wall… But the food is lovely, the owner is fantastic, prices can’t be beat and it’s super close to the interstate… And Dinosaur World. I will forever remember that she reopened just for us. We realize she had just finished cleaning and had to restart her grill just for us. When we are back in that area, we will definitely be back… This time, when she is for sure open.

For breakfast, this is by far the best in east Hillsborough County. Their prices are excellent and Anna herself does it all. Pancakes are fluffy and even the sweet tea is good and that’s hard to find. It reminds me of the old time diners that dotted the country when I was a kid growing up in the 60s and 70s.

This place looks like a hole in the wall, BUT… the service was friendly and fast, and the food was fresh and tasty. Anna does a great job considering her resources.

Stopped here for breakfast on way to Orlando. A little hole in the wall in a strip mall. Mostly locals hang out here. Quite outdated but food was delicious. Everything fresh and homemade. Anna is hostess, waitress, cook and cashier but she does a good job. Good place to stop if you are in the area.

Ate at Anna’s for the first time on Father’s Day. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The owner is not named Anna, but Rita and she was so loving and friendly. Everything you’d expect in a small eatery. I would definitely visit again. The décor is nothing to write home about, outdated and needing some updating but the food and Rita make it worth a visit. Check it out!

Not gonna lie. I pulled into the completely shady looking parking lot and stared at the tiny hole in the wall glass thinking«really?». I almost turned around. But I found this place on Unilocal and I trust Unilocal.I’m on a business trip from NY. It’s fabulous. Anna is very friendly and efficient. Asked how I wanted my bacon, assured me it’ll be the best I’ve ever had including what I make at home. Explained how she makes her grits and everything else. Bacon cheese omelet with grits and butter. It was all so good. It’s exactly the diner breakfast you want. Total basics here, morning fancy whatsoever. Not fancy to look at, loud tv on, but this isn’t the place to have high décor expectations because it’s exactly what it is supposed to be.

It was alright. Anna is the server, cook, she does it all. The hot cakes were good everything else was okay. We are on vacation so we won’t be back but I would recommend this for a cheap decent breakfast.

This is a nice little restaurant. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The server was also the cashier and cook. She did it all. I like hole-in-the-wall restaurant. There wasn’t anything fancy about the place but it was good, cheap and I simply liked it.

Just had a breakfast sandwich, BEC there, Outstanding. Little diner with a hometown feel. The food is great and the staff friendly and welcoming, the place is kept impeccably clean. Will definitely come back.

This is a great diner that my wife and I love to eat at. Best hamburger steak and Chicken Fried Steak in town. If your looking for fancy, you have to go someplace else. But if you want some good down home cooking, this is the place to be. There are two really good diners in Plant City and this is definitely one of them. And no one works harder then the sweetie that owns it.

Typical ‘greasy spoon’. With a serious lack of breakfast options in the area Anna’s is definitely my choice. 2 huge eggs, bacon, toast, coffee and juice for $ 5. You just can’t beat that!
