The only reason they even get a star is because I can’t not give a rating. My fiancé and I spent $ 24 plus tip on two plates of breakfast and coffee. Really? I got canned corned beef, «home fries» that were smash potatoes with not even a splash of salt, powdered pepper gravy and frozen pre-breaded chicken fried steak. If you have a restaurant and can’t even do the basics like make a mother sauce than you shouldnt even be in the business. From a fellow chef, this place is a total flop and you get what you pay for. Cheap, plain, plant city style garbage food.

Ok, so I know the reviews, the noise gets to people but it is no issue for me and I just sat next to a group of 10 this time. I don’t know if it is just people who are extra sensitive to sound or if I’m a little more conditioned to a bit of noise in a restaurant, and I don’t have kids so I know what quiet is lol. My 3rd time here and I haven’t had a bad experience. I have only been in early for breakfast. Its just a lil greasy spoon kinda place to me. So I expect fast and cheap… and I get both plus decent food that yeah, I could make at home but hey, I’m out and about already. Again its that lil joint you go to in small town in anywhere Southern USA for quick breakfast and a cup-o-average-joe coffee. And no prepackaged or powdered food here… just the real thing. 2 people = $ 18 and change with coffee and teas. I’ll go back when I’m in that part of town for sure.

It’s been a while. I remember how loud the noise inside bounced off everything. Wooden chairs scraping the floor sounded deafening and echoed. The food was mediocre. Prices ok. Service was just ok. I might try it again.

This review is based on food, service, and cleanliness. I was torn between giving 2 or 3 stars. Our waitress was very friendly and the food came out fast. The main reason I choose to stars was because the food was below standard. Mainly, the burnt biscuit in my B & G. Everything was bland, but I was able to fix that with the salt and pepper at the table. I could not tell if the water was cloudy, or if our cups were dirty, but the water had an awful taste to it. This restaurant is in desperate need of a makeover. Needing a good cleaning from floor ceiling would do wonders(I would like to emphasize ceiling at this point). it was pretty dirty. Especially, the air vents/return air. It was extremely unappetizing. I just can’t get over that burnt biscuit. That should not be served.

Food is low priced and okay. Main problem: Too noisy. Oh my God. Thought I was going to go deaf. Need some carpet instead of a tile floor with brick walls. Sound bounces around like crazy if crowded. Otherwise maybe okay. Decent for breakfast and lunch the few times I have eaten there.

We had the country fried steak and eggs… it was awesome with plenty of gravy. Plenty of food and $ 20 spent on two people… Will definitely return!

Nice little café found via Unilocal on a whim while in FL for a baseball tournament. I had 4 eggs over med well with grits and a grilled chicken breast on the side. Everything was prepared to my liking and definitely so peril quality in comparison to anything in the Waffle House genre. Grits we seasoned well and on the creamier side almost like stone milled. My son had pancakes which he devoured, my wife had a western omelet and loved it(she is a food snob). My daughter and mother in law gave the double thumbs up to the bacon cheese burger. This was a good find.

Cuban sandwich was terrible, soggy and tasteless. Go to Tampa or Ybor to get a real one. Try something else.

This place is a little treasure. I had the Steak and cheese sandwich and it was totally delicious and well priced. It was very clean and the service was great. I will be going back again.
