Love this place but only 3 stars tonight for not having many clean tables available. 7pm on Saturday night and only 3 other tables had customers, so the lack of clean tables made the restaurant look like it just lacked attention. Tried two«limited time» dishes, the Ahi Tuna Bowl(small plate) and the Thai Mango Chicken Salad. Enjoyed the salad a bit more. Crisp iceberg lettuce and mixed field greens, julienned carrots, thin sliced mangoes and shredded chicken breast with a nice peanut sauce offered plenty of crunch and lots of flavor. The dressing came on the side and is good, but expect a little delayed heat if you use a lot. Really liked the veggie base of the ahi tuna bowl. Rather than rice or noodles, the small soft chunks of ahi rested on top of julienned carrots and cucumbers with shallots and white onions and a mild sriracha-based sauce was drizzled on top. The hint of cilantro was really good, but I would vote for more. Overall, more than worth the price, even though the onions were way undercooked. Thought it was weird their napkins were like paper towels out of the restroom instead of the nicer dinner napkins they used to have. If they changed them then that was a bad move. If they just ran out someone didn’t manage the supply reorder very well. For what it’s worth, by the time we left, the crowd had picked up quite a bit and most tables appeared to have been bussed.

These people regularly fuck up orders. I’ve been here three or four times where they’ve messed mine up. Perfect!

I have not eaten at Pei Wei since they took away my favorite dish(Thai Coconut Curry), but my kids wanted it, so we tried it again. We did take out, it was supposed to be ready at 7:50, we finally had it at 8:05. My kids get the kids’ chicken Lo Mein, which was noodles and chicken. Completely dry, no sauce at all. The meals my husband and I got were also completely dry, no sauce. Thankfully, we got extra veggies, or there wouldn’t have been any. We both ordered spicy dishes, ‘extra spicy’, which, apparently, means a pepper flake or 2. There was no flavor at all to either dish. Now, I see that I haven’t missed a thing. Won’t be going back until maybe I forget about this experience, too. Thankfully, my kids’ dishes did not have flavor either, so hopefully, they won’t ask to go back again.

This used to be a great PEIWEI. These days this location is always dirty regardless of the time of day. The quality of the staff has gone way downhill. We were there last week and one female employee with four inch fake green nails delivered our food. Of course, her nails are touching the food. This probably happens to every customer. This location is rudderless.

1st visit this location(Feb 2014) and return visit to franchise after long time. Arrived for Thu lunch and still found empty table and prompt service. New items on menu. Place got very busy about 30 min after arrived. I like the beverage machines [see photo] as you get an almost infinite choice in soft drinks. Water and ice tea still available. UPDATE: Sep 2015 Upgraded to 5 stars based on service and food at another location. They provide consistent service at two different locations.

I always enjoy me some Pei Wei’s. But the service is awful. I called while I was on my way there and I was placed on hold for 5 minutes. When they finally answered I was already in the parking lot. I thought they were busy. When I walked in the place was empty and all the employees were sitting around. Please explain to me why I was on hold for so long???

Fast, friendly service. Edamame came out lukewarm. They ran out of chocolate chip cookies and stuck us with snickerdoodles — lame! Definitely sign up for their frequent guest program — we got a free appetizer.

I was hungry for some Asian food so I left the house at 3PM for PeiWei. I usually get the Pad Thai but figured I should try something new with the Thai Dynamite. The place was not busy at 3PM but I waited about 12 minutes for the two cooks to to crank out two entrees with one ahead of mine, because between the two of them they could only cook one thing at a time, so I am guessing one guy was getting trained and its no big deal. Then the food comes and table server is in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch surge, so I go up and get my own food rather than wait for it to be served later and colder, no big deal. So here is the bad part. After paying for the large serving, what I got was 2/3rds rice and 1⁄3rd Thai Dynamite. It is supposed to be a spicy dish, hence the Dynamite but it was not. It was not even flavorful and it was MISSING the fresh basil, so it didn’t have much flavor. I am not sure what the brown sauce stuff was but it was lame too, like I could not even pick up soy sauce flavor… WTF? Sadly I was hungry so I not only finished this crappy concoction, but choked down the other half of the dry brown rice as well. The brown rice actually had more flavor than the Dynamite Thai stuff they put to the side of it. Totally bizarre. I am pissed here now because I should have just taken it back and got my ten bucks back and gone to any of several decent Thai places in Plano. Receipt code is 555416000062013 if you are reading this and are employed by PeiWei, but don’t worry about it because I am logging in your survey site to give you the same info, and you can keep your free cookie as I won’t be back for one.

Teriyaki bowl was swimming in sauce. Wife’s salad had no flavor and hardly any salad dressing. Pei Wei has lost its edge seems like the food is slopped together with these days. I’ve had multiple bad experiences at this 15th location. Maybe it is the management or how they trained their cooks. I’m done with this place.

We do take out from here at least once a week. It’s consistent and tasty. They have online ordering or you can call it in. My only criticism is that there’s no «a little spicy», it’s either all or nothing. My favorites are Honey seared chicken with brown rice or Mandarin Kung Pao with brown rice. Sometimes I get tofu instead of meat. Hubby gets the pork egg rolls, daughter loves Pei Wei Spicy. The pad Thai is better from Thai restaurants. Their two soups are GREAT. And the Orange iced tea very refreshing and subtle.

We love it here. We are regulars not only because we love the Thai dynamite with chicken and white rice but also because we love us some Kate! Haha everyone is always friendly. We have our little area where we sit at the bar. We are such creatures of habit and this place never fails to deliver.

My friend and I tried ordering on the phone… it was a bad idea. I ordered ginger broccoli steak with rice. My friend ordered teriyaki chicken with noodles. We kinda took a long time to decide, so the lady got confused. SO we confirmed our choices again and asked if she can repeat it to us. She said the right thing… but when we picked up our meal, it turned out that I have teriyaki steak with noodles and my friend received ginger broccoli chicken with rice… the good thing is that I like my dish. I ordered it again recently. Noodle is a better choice than the mushy rice. There was too many onions to deal with though(onion hater). and there’s not much veggies, so I’m hoping I can switch out the veggies in teriyaki with the ginger broccoli. Broccoli is better than the 3 – 4 thin pieces of carrots and cabbage.

I do not recommend eating here alone. Bring backup. While I was getting a refill on my drink, the bus person took my plate. Somebody offered to remake it, but I declined due to my irritation. Food was ok, but a bit on the pricy side.

For some reason this location can not get Mongolian beef prepared properly. Today it was raw, last week fried to a crisp and tough. Love PeiWei — disappointed. :(

Awesome place! Walk in, give your order, and they bring it to you. Pleasantly surprised by their gluten-free options. I had sweet and sour chicken which I have not been able to eat in so long! My husband, who is very picky with his Chinese food, was very pleased with his lettuce wraps and Mongolian beef. He even brought home leftovers which he never does. Will definitely be back!

Good options, great location for stopping in on the way home for«pick up» dinner making. If you arrive before your meal is ready, they’ll often offer you a drink while you wait — that’s great customer service.

Haven’t been here in a long while because they kept getting rid of all the dishes I liked. We decided to try it again because of the Sriracha pork lettuce wraps. They did not disappoint! I tried the coconut green curry with chicken, it was good. I was pleasantly surprised, it wasn’t sweet like I thought it would be and ir had a good amount of spice. Of course now that I have decided I like this dish they will probably get rid of it…

Decent location. Decent service even though it’s a chain. We always go with the chicken lo mein or the chicken pad thai. The portions are large and allows us to share a single entrée for those lazy nights where we don’t feel like cooking.
