We had $ 10 coupons to this place, so we decided to used them on separate occasions. The pizzas were decent. I had the burrata cheese pie and it was pretty good. I asked for a side of arugula. In my opinion, it should have been served with it. And dressed in olive oil, with a pinch of sea salt, not dry. One of their best pies«was» the North Beach. They took it off the menu because they could no longer get the salami from their supplier. That’s a pretty lame excuse. Go find a different supplier. Salami is ubiquitous. Until they bring it back, there’s a bunch of other pizza places we can patronize.

Went here for a business lunch recently. I do not know why they call something that is a pizza a pie. That could be forgiven but not the quality of the food. The«pie» that I had was less tasty than the worst of the many many pizzas that I have ever had in my life. In fact it was the worst meal I have had for a very long time. I only ate it because I was starving.

All around and amazing place to eat pizza. Tried gluten free pizza for the first time & it was amazing! Highly recommend for anyone trying to come with friends to eat and have a good time.

Fireside Pies is definitely a contender for the best DFW pizza. I’m not going to pretend I’ve tried them all, but the chefs at Fireside knows a thing or two about flavor profiles and how to fire a real pie.

Great pizzas but even greater salads! Perfect to get a salad and a pizza to share between 2.

Good place for late Sunday night dinner! Warm and inviting atmosphere, great service, and even better food. TVs flanked pretty much every wall in the restaurant. Lots of varied seating. Clean bathrooms. Now for the food. Awesome thin crust pizza. We ordered the white pie and splitting with two people makes for a pretty good light dinner! If you order 1 for yourself you may have a 2 slice doggy bag. The cheese was top notch and the slices of fresh sage were magic. The crust was crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside; not biscotti-like like how thin crusts can sometimes be like thankfully! The dessert. Whatever you do, DON’T pass on dessert! The hazelnut vanilla icecream topped brownie was to die for. There were actual hazelnut halves on the top!!! Hazelnuts usually sell for like $ 7 a pound so seeing them on top made me as impressed as I was happy!!! The warm brownie with cold icecream was beaut. I could come back for just the dessert alone but it would be an injustice to the awesome pizza.

In June we celebrated a good friend’s birthday here and I was skeptical Fireside Pies would live up to the hype. Happily, they proved me wrong! We had 4 adults and 1 child(1 year). They were very accommodating to our friend’s child, super helpful and kind. We started by all sharing a Texas Bibb salad — really fresh and well seasoned. Loved the dressing! We shared a premium meats pie and another pizza that was one of their specials(unfortunately the name escapes me). Both pizzas were delicious! The food was ready quickly, it was fun to watch them assemble the pizzas! Everything was cooked perfectly and, again, everything tasted really fresh. The only downside was that when were were eating the fire alarm went off, yikes! It went on for quite a bit and was really annoying, fortunately there was no danger to any one or any business(they were testing and made a mistake). We would love to go back, without the alarm this time!

Lets begin by saying that I absolutely love the pizza here. I always get the garlic and sage pie, YUM! I went here for the first time this year with my boyfriend and his grandparents and have been hooked ever since! However, my last visit was not so pleasant. I ordered the Caesar salad as an appetizer. It tasted really good until… I found a HUGE bug in my salad. It was pretty gross and my dad and I both returned our salads. First of all, I know these things happen and I simply just told my waitress that there was a bug in my salad. What I was upset about: When I told my waitress there was a bug in my salad, all she said was, «ooooo» and took the plate away. Not until 10 minutes later, the manager came out with my pizza. She said something along the line of «so I heard there was a bug that crawled into our organic produce». And my dad and I said, yes. And there was no problem because we knew, once again, this can happen anywhere. but she wasn’t very apologetic. She offered to take the salads off our check, which is great. A little while later my dad wanted to talk to the manager again because she didn’t seem to really care. When she came back she seemed very frustrated and had an attitude. She did not give us a sincere apology whatsoever and said something like, «these things happen», which, again, we completely understand. We would have dropped it and moved on in the first place if only she had cared and given us the notion that she truly was sorry, regardless the bug being her fault or not. And to top it off, our waitress didn’t say a SINGLE word about the incident. We left frustrated because we did not feel the restaurant cared at all. And not to mention, I have had the same waitress before and I have never gotten a good vibe from her. She doesn’t check on you much and never really smiles and just seems distant. I almost feel as if I am bothering her. Just to remind you, I was NOT upset about the bug so much as the response we got. Overall, though, aside from this visit, I love Fireside Pies, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the delicious food. I will definitely be back for the pizza, I just hope I don’t get the same waitress! :p

Puhleeze! You call this pizza?! Where have you people been, lol? Where can one get some decent pizza in this city?! It’s seriously depressing and a tad disturbing. You’ll have better luck ordering from Pappa Johns. It’s like they try too hard here & just screw everything up. Also, this place gives me some serious tummy problems! Don’t waste your money…

Not a bad place but found a big bug in the salad. Manager was apologetic but said«things happen«. She took off the salads from tab but I didn’t feel she cared. Leaving with frustration.

Where do I begin… I love everything about this place from the atmosphere-location-food. The four cheese salad is delicious and was followed by the pepperoni pizza. The brownie sundae is a perfect treat to finish it all off as well. I went 2 weeks in a row! One of my favs

Good gluten free option. Ordered 3GF&2 regular. They all came out the same size. The crust all came out burnt on the edges, especially the prociotto GF. The prociotto was tasty with the carmalazied red onions but the meatball and chicken saudade left a lot to be desired. There wasn’t much else to order for meat toppings. I should have tried a margarita type instead. No interest in going back for the food. What I felt was more irritating was the host and customers watching the football game over my head. Host leaned against his station with arms cross staring in our direction. So uncomfortable. Felt all eyes on me when trying to enjoy the ambiance and pizza tossing chefs in the kitchen… forget it.

Came here around 6:55 on a Saturday night. The hostess said it’d be about 45 min wait.(No surprise) we actually found a spot at the bar to hangout and ordered an appetizer, it came out rather quickly. The table actually only took less then 15. We tried to carry things over and accidentally dropped the appetizer. The bartender had them make another order. It was really sweet. Our service was great. Drink selection is amazing. We ordered a bib salad of some sort. Dressing was a little heavy but Amazing! Pizza came out and it was cooked to perfection. Also, spin and artichoke dips great. I can keep going. I can’t believe I have been missing out on the gem! Parking a little hard, but they have a parking garage right behind!

We ate here on a Saturday evening and called ahead to beat the rush. This place is packed on weekends so I definitely recommend doing that. We really enjoy the pizzas here. Better than most in town. On this visit we ordered the Hot & Crumbled Pie for the adults to share. This is our favorite pizza here but not having been here in a while, I was surprised at how little meat there was in proportion to the dough! The pizza tasted great as always. The boys had Pepperoni kids pizza– easily their favorite. We also shared the Chopped Salad– fresh, crunchy and perfectly seasoned. The only disappointment was my Sangria which tasted nothing like one!

This place started off strong. We ordered the meatball appetizer which came with 4 meatballs and 4 pcs of crostini. It came out smoldering hot and bubbling! I really liked the red sauce but meatballs were just okay. The red sauce was good enough that I was willing to overlook that. As for pizza, I had the spicy sausage and ricotta pizza. It was spicy and greasy. Flavors were okay… Crust was crispy with burnt parts from the wood fired oven. I like my crust(when thin) chewy. This crust was not that. I’m a big fan of Cane Rosso and in my opinion, this doesn’t compare.

I visited Fireside pies when I was in Plano last July. It came as a recommendation from my sister’s friend who has lived in the area for a while. The place wasn’t too crowded and we were seated right away. They have a lot of interesting pizzas and everything on the menu sounded delicious. I decided on a chicken Caesar salad and I split their specialty pizza with another member in our group. That day’s specialty pizza had sriracha, and TONS of crispy, crunchy veggies. Both were very good and I was sad we didn’t make it back here before I left to come home. There were a couple of people with gluten/dairy insensitivity in our party and the server and manager both explained ingredients in each item they were interested in so they could make the best decision for their needs. They were both very knowledgeable about the products they use for their pizzas and salads, which was comforting to see. Sometimes you get the feeling servers are just guessing if food they serve is gluten or dairy free, which I can imagine would be unnerving for the consumer. For dessert, one of the people in our group got the lavender ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! I have never tried lavender ice cream before because it truthfully kind of freaks me out, but I decided«why not?» and I’m so glad I did!

Awesome dining experience & fast take out every time we come here. Love the cocktails — David behind the bar is always in point and will gladly make you a custom drink. He’s awesome. Pizza is crisp on the outside with soft chewy inside… just like brick oven pizza should be. Combinations are delicious with fresh quality ingredients. Typically we almost always order the Triple Roni and the Chopped Salad and add balsamic chicken. We recently tried the Texas Beef Sausage as well. Pizza’s are big enough for 2 – 3 ppl. Order different ones to sample and share. Leftovers Warm up well in the oven at home. Worth the wait…5 Star all the way. Will Keep coming back. Love it!

Have been here once or twice and… it is good. Not the greatest pizza you can get in the DFW area, but certainly a reasonably priced alternative! Nice innovating type of toppings, thin(and crispy!) pizza crust, unlike Cane Rosso(ugh), nice décor and a good selection. Overall, wouldn’t mind coming back but not a stand out by any means

Words cannot justify how awesome the pies are here! They’re all delicious and come pipping hot! If you’re hungry, be careful not to burn the roof of your mouth!(I think I’ve tried just about every pie they have!) I love the salads that they have here, namely the Harvest. It’s now a seasonal salad(b/c apples and pears are the best in the fall). I’m sad about that but that also just means I have to make multiple trips here before winter really hits! Appetizers to try include the crab claws and the meatballs. For dessert, get the S’more semifreddo!~ If you’re coming on the weekends, expect a long wait!
