BESTPORKINAMERICA! We were headed for the frozen yogurt place next door, and stopped here for a snack. I ate a quesadilla with Pork. It was amazing. The pork was perfect. Tasty and juicy, best pork I’ve had in our wonderful country(Puerto Rican«lechon» still keeps the title). I strongly recommend it for pork lovers, $ 10 of joy.

After a nice day on the beach, we stopped here for lunch. Immediately all of the staff was friendly and they answered my questions well. They gave me and my friends really good recommendations and we were very satisfied with our meal.

Our favorite place for Carnitas! Great food, good location, the real thing! Been the entire length of Baja and up to Seattle and nothing else on the coast is going to be any better than these guys. My favorite is the shrimp tacos. Add a bunch of pickled vegetables from their bar, chips and salsa and bliss out…

This is an amazing true authentic Mexican restaurant. The service is very quick with friendly staff. The gal working the front was very kind and patient while we looked over the menu. All questions were answered. The prices were a little shot high, but it’s expected for a beach front restaurant. The inside is a little bit small, but is large enough for a full sized baby stroller. I got a carnitas wet burrito combo meal which included: a very large well filled burrito, a side of home made chips with cheese melted over the top, and a drink. The presentation of the meal was put together well. There homemade salsa was very fresh and delicious but a little too on the tomato side. The bathrooms were kept very clean and the over all of the restaurant was great.

The lovely lady who helped us was such a sweetheart and gave great service. Not much seating but it’s expected in this area. Ceviche tostada was amazing. I ordered the carne asada taco and the green chile taco both tasted like the meat was low quality(fatty and gristly) or just old. Would go back but stick to just the ceviche

Gross. Nasty. I guess it’s better than Sabor whatever that’s on the corner down the block. Both shouldn’t be open. Food always sucks and never impressed. I’ve given it many chances but yet it still seems to disappoint. When they first opened there food was delicious but it’s definitely gone down hill.

Best fish tacos in all of California! Try them with a crunchy shell and get them with the cabbage, salsa, mayo. I come here every time I’m in this area!!!

I took my daughter here for burritos today, and I am so disappointed with our food, and extremely surprised at the great reviews on Unilocal. I just got two bean and cheese burritos, one off the child’s menu and one regular. They are the exact same size and portion, but they charge a dollar less for the one on the kids menu… Odd. I asked for lettuce in my burrito, the lady put our order in and it came out quickly. We got it to-go and walked five minutes home to eat it. This is without a doubt the worst bean and cheese burrito I have ever had. I would rather go to Taco Bell. The«lettuce» she added was chopped up cabbage that I strongly suspect was actually coleslaw because of the weird spicy/sweet flavor that did not belong in any burrito, ever. The burritos were cold enough that the gigantic chunks of plasticky white cheese didn’t melt at all, so when I took a bite it was just thick chunks of cheese, coleslaw and soggy beans. My burrito also smelled and tasted like peanut butter. It freaked me out and I threw it away after just a few bites, because I was afraid it would make me throw up. Hands down the worst Mexican I’ve ever tasted in my life. Do not waste your money.

Food was amazing! Dining area was basic — we didn’t really care for the ambiance. But the tasty food more than made up for it!

Did they just put delicious refried beans up in my burrito?!? YES they did! Try the Carne asada burrito, unbutton your jeans, and let the delisness flow. Their salsas are tasty too! Caiman Jack Margaritas for 6.25 They charge for chips with your meal, 1 star off for that mess

Amazing little spot with great food. The variety of salsas, the food, the drinks… All of it was great. So glad we stopped in there. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady. Nothing bad to say about this experience. If you’re looking for some authentic Mexican food… Give em a try.

I ordered the fish tacos and it was flavorful. It’s not like the fish tacos I am used to, but it was probably one of the best fish tacos I’ve had. I’m used to seeing fish tacos that are battered and fried. This fish taco was cut up and the toppings were the typical cabbage and other toppings. I really liked the sauce that was put on it. Overall, pretty fast, a bit pricy, but really delicious!!!

Solid burritos. Salsa bar is just so-so, not the greatest flavors. Not too much rice and beans and the filling is pretty juicy. The prices are standard for the area — slightly higher due to tourist location. Chips are a dollar extra, I feel they could def throw those in for free given how cheap corn chips are but its not a deal breaker. The girl working the register was very friendly. Not a bad place for a quick meal.

Great little Mexican restaurant. Front staff was friendly and the tables were clean. Food came to the table quickly and tasted delicious. Pretty authentic Cali Mex. If the line is too long at Splash Café, definitely check this place out. Recommended: Hard Shell Beef Tacos Combo w/sour cream and guacamole Horchata

Stopped in for dinner while in Pismo. The carne asada burrito was good, I could have done with out the fish and shrimp taco. The tacos weren’t bad but nothing to brag about. The salsa’s were what you’d expect from a place like this, I would give it a thumbs up for authentic flavor. There’s lots of other places We would go for tacos though which is what we were looking for.

Really great carne asada and fish tacos. I highly recommend this for authentic CA beach food vs. all the pricey restaurants around.

Horchata is tasty… mmm cinnamon milk goodness. Great salsa bar with four kinds of salsa and a spicy jalapeño carrot potato mix. We tried the steak burrito, hot and spicy shrimp plate with beans and rice and flour tortillas and chips and guacamole. Yummy and nice location near the pier!
