Best surf shop around! I love all of the clothes that I get from there and the ponchos apparel is reasonably priced. They also have the friendliest staff! My 8 year old nephew just got into surfing and they are always answering all of his questions and being very patient.

I was hoping for a good experience especially since I had a gif certificate for this location that was non refundable. I felt I was judged the whole experience, no one once asked how I was doing or what I’m looking for. I totally understand giving someone their personal space to shop, but there was no service no personality and I even asked if I could refund my certificate cause I was so disappointed with my experience and felt I had to just buy anything at that point just so I could leave. I’m all for Ma and Pa retailers but Panchos really needs to get a more inviting persona towards its guests and engage with the customers even if it’s fake or real. Have a nice day and I hope to see some personality next time.

Pancho’s Surf Shop is the only store I stop in near the pier @ Pismo beach. They have a huge and high quality selection of clothing, sandals, flip flops and everything imaginable related to beach sun and sports gear. Even though the little stretch of shops near the pier on Pomeroy Ave can look a bit worn down and sketch from the outside, the inside is kept up really well and you would think you were in an South OC surf shop once inside. About 6 months ago I walked in here looking for a hair rubber band to keep my hair tied back while I walked on the beach, and I purchased the only thing they had at the counter, a gellio pony tail holder for $ 2.50. I kind of thought it was ridiculous to pay $ 2.50 for a hair band but now that I have one, I seriously can not live without it. I know, so «First World», but I literally look for it frantically if I temporarily misplace it because it is so much more convenient than those goody brand type of hair bands. When in the area recently, I made it a point to come back in to buy a few more gellios in various colors so I don’t have to stress if I can’t find my solo one. . Ok so quick definition: a gellio is basically like one of those old telephone coiled cords from back in the 70’s but instead of a long cord, it is made into a small circle. When used to tie hair up into a ponytail it grabs onto your hair immediately and holds it into a ponytail without having to twist and double up on it like a regular hair band which = convenience, ease and efficiency for a ponytail holder that goes on quickly and doesn’t break or stretch! Worth the $ 2.50 each for the many uses I’ve gotten out of it and for the sheer convenience factor! The employees have been super nice on both of my visits. I will be back when in the area to see what other cool items they have!

Typical surf gear-on the pricier side(ie, $ 30 for toddler sweatshirt, $ 80 for leather Reef flip flops), cool surf skeleton logo though, helpful staff, & good selection.

Always a stop for fun stuff when visiting Pismo. Very friendly staff! Huge selection of our favorite beach shoes(Sanuk) :-) bought a longboard for our son last year that we knew absolutely nothing about. The guy that helped us was super knowledgable and we bought his recommendation(a sector long board) our 15 year old opened it at Christmas and loved it! We were officially the coolest parents ever!

LOVE this place! We travel to SLO often and always make it a point to go to Pismo and shop at Panchos. Cool friendly workers, love the Pancho T’s. Go here. But no website? Probably done intentionally. This place is a little jewel in Pismo.

With an idea and friends. Waves can be possible. We walked into this store and was greeted with warm sunshine. The folks who fun this joint are happy and willing to help with any questions u may have. We were curious about the waves. Originally from San Diego, our beaches and waves roll a little differently. So we were new, rollin thru town and checking the scenes. Thanks Pancho!

This place is such a cute shop! They sell everything for kids, women and men! I bought a cowboy hat here and my girlfriend bought some Toms shoes! One of the male sales associate(he had a mustache that was twisted at the ends) was every helpful in the store and also gave us a couple of directions for places we were looking for in Pismo and he gave us free shop stickers =)
