I’ve been coming to this Pollo Loco for years and is still by far the best location. Not only with the service but also with the quality of the food prep and juiciness of the chicken. It was recently remodeled which improves the ambiance when dining in.

hours say till 11 I went at 9:40… CLOSED!!! and employees didn’t even have the decency to tell me from the drive thru window that they were closed… they simply moved out of my sight so I couldn’t see them! TERRIBLE!!!

Don’t often get loco poco but when I do ha. I drive all the way across town just to get good service. The other in pico River blows I ask for Small Mac an Kay-​so. The lady gives me two small cups an was just talk it. Dam Amber if you say so! When j get home she gave me a mash potatoes an beans. I was like wtf I’ll just go back an check the recite but the I see she wrote me up for rice. This dumb ass! I guess I was the dumb one for no checking. That’s why I go here if I go anywhere. For loco poco.

Every time I come to this El Pollo Loco they NEVER have what I want… I asked for 3 leg lover combos and the lady in the drive-​thru is like oh we only have one… I asked for 3 kids meals she’s like oh we only have 2 WTF?!? This first time I came here it was the same thing… This is strike number 2 I’m never coming back to this El Pollo Loco

No matter where I’m at in LA County I will always find my way back to the Pollo Loco in Pico Rivera this place is always awesome in customer service, always fast and never says no to any kind of request (like add house salsa to my Brito inside) I love this place the staff here is amazing and every single person in management seems like they really love their job… can’t wait to come back I would definitely recommend it

I’m actually a cashier there at pollo loco and I love it! We always get compliments from other customers on our food and especially the salsa! Not being bias, but this has been the best pollo loco I’ve been to! :)

Great customer service. Ceci took my order and I wanted a special burrito and she was able to arrange something so I can get what I wanted. Then Ceci and Monica kept taking turns coming around offering tooth picks, candies and other things on a goody tray. Clean place, great customer service and my food was served fast.

This place has been one of the best pollo loco restaurants I have been to, ever. I’ve never had a manager come up in if we needed anything, or even someone come around and offer us a full selection from Mints salt pepper. Floors are nice and clean, and the staff if friendly. Would definitely come back here again

Top notch operation here in Pico Rivera. Clean, well maintained and staff with friendly people. Each PL has its own managers and this store is well run. The manager checked in with me during my meal. He was professional, maintained eye contact and appeared genuinely interested in my dining experience.

El pollo loco el sabor de mi tierra natal. Ha ha ha back in the day Spanish commercials. Can you really go wrong at this place. My wife and I love it. I usually get there two piece combo and my wife gets salads. On this occasion I got a two piece meal breast & leg with beans and a loco salad. Chicken juicy and cooked to perfection. I love the flavor in pollo locos chicken. Beans are always hot and the cilantro dressing with the guacamole salsa on the salad. My wife had the classic salad with chicken with light creamy cilantro. She loves it! The staff is very friendly and always with a smile. At times they walk up to your table and take your tray for you. I always keep going back because the food is great and people are friendly and attentive.

I’ve always had a good experience at this location. The staff are very attentive and the manager goes out of his way to make sure clients are satisfied… he even walks around the dinning area making sure clients are doing OK or asking if they need anything… what other fast food restaurant shows they care.

The reason I’m giving it 1 star is because I found a large black hair in my taco salad. Ugh disgusting! Instead of the manager taking care of it he blames me for the hair. Never going back.

It’s literally been years since I’ve eaten at a El Pollo and I was pleasantly surprised with the food and changes they have implemented. I had my pug Iz with me so I opted to drive thru after driving around searching to grab dinner.
I opted for the ultimate combo bowl which had cabbage, beans, rice chicken and avocado. I opted out on the sour cream and asked for the salsa on the side which I actually didn’t utilize at all. The bowl was really satisfying and filling. The chicken was tender, flavorful and can now understand why it was so filling. Online I discovered this bad boy was over 1000 calories!
Dam I could have ate a greasy cheeseburger! The bowl at least gave me the impression I was eating healthier mentally. For a quick inexpensive bite I was a happy camper and will return to El Pollo Loco.

Alright EPL in PR, I have a love/​hate relationship with you. I love because you provide an endless salsa bar and tasty chicken. I hate because I feel like a fool for paying one of the highest sales taxes in the nation. Almost 11%, really? Talk about crazy you can taste. I visit because you are always tasty and insanely convenient when I am way too hungry to drive to the East Whittier location. I justify my patronage by making my money back on your salsa bar. Kudos! I also take the wet wipes to store in my glove when I pump gas. I know I’m not the only one. Also, your staff is pretty damn friendly!
