I walked into this place after noticing one of the workers in the alley picking his nose and smoking a cigarette. He NEVER washed his hands!!! When asked to speak to the manager the guy who appeared to be the manager said he’s on break, he was very rude. Then I called out to the guy who was picking his nose and asked even though I knew he didn’t wash his hands asked anyway, I no speak English. Really, WTF GROSS!!! I will never eat there!!!

The food is really good, had the shrimp taco and fish taco with rice and beans. All very good and worthy of 5 stars. Why did they get three? $ 8 minimum to use your card and then one top of that a service fee of $ 1. Does it really cost that much for service fees? Who carries cash with them any more, for me it is rare that I do. Loose the minimums and the fees and I will be her much more often.

Omg shrimp ceviche is good!!! I’ve passed my many times when I go to target. Never thought about stopping. Tried it 2 weeks ago! Pretty good. Free chips and salsa. Not a big fan of the salsa. But I’ll go back

Fish tacos (small tortilla) are $ 1 on Tuesdays. Went in during my lunch break. My coworkers usually order by phone but I decided to walk over and order. I ordered 4 fish tacos w/​everything. My order was ready within 5 mins yayyy! By the time I walked back to work I still had 20 mins to eat. This was enough time to devour my food. My plate came with a yellow pepper that had some chili powder on top, it was spicy but good great combination with the tacos. I don’t know if the food tasted good because I was really hungry or it is just that good. I gave 4 stars only because I feel like the tacos needed more fish. Maybe they have less fish cause they’re $ 1 so hopefully at regular price they are well served.

Delicious fish tacos! On Tuesdays and Sunday’s they are .99 I have called ahead twice and they have my order ready. Everything seems fresh and is very tasty. I am eager to go back soon and try the shrimp and other yummy looking items I have seen on the menu. My hubby and I we be here a lot as it is lent season for us.

Food was okay but the portions are small for what you pay. Taco specials are for one taco only at the special price. Taco plate specials have to be all different meat we could not get all asada tacos. Too many rules for my taste. Not the friendliest employees either. I really wanted to like this place but I will not be back I will stick to Baja Mar for my fish tacos.

I just noticed this place. The hubs and I walked in for a quick dinner. We truly enjoyed our food. My hubby had the shrimp burrito and I had the fish taco plate. I’ve had plenty fish tacos. I’ve got to say that these are the best I’ve ever had. The red chile salsa is fantastic. It tastes just like the chile my father in law used to make. We will definitely be back. Yum

Tried the shrimp and fish tacos. They were very good. However I order a shrimp cóctel and it was really bad. It had cucumbers, shrimp and pretty much water. Cannot recommend at all.

I decided to try this place this evening since I always drive by. Fish tacos weren’t bad, shrimp soup was ok and that’s why I gave it 2 stars. But I also ordered 2 fried shrimp tacos and they were horrible. Over cooked and burned! I won’t be going back there. How can they even serve food to customers that they themselves would not eat!??

You know, this place is a bit unassuming. I don’t think it’s trying to be anything other than itself. The food was great. Not cheap, but not expensive. they have specials throughout the week that can accommodate your budget. I’ll be back.

This place wants to be Tacos Baja so bad. The product is low quality-​the fish ceviche toastada had almost no fish, the cheese was cold and still shredded in the bean and cheese burrito and everything is way too expensive! The customer service gets 1⁄5 stars! It was empty when we got here, both employees were standing around talking and the place was a mess. The condiment bar was empty as well. I won’t be coming back here.

This place is fairly new so I decided to give it a try and I highly recommend it. I got a fish, shrimp, and asada tacos and they were great. As of today, this is my new fav taco spot in Pico Rivera.
They have good quality and homemade tasting food. The seafood is fresh and the fish taco batter is light. The asada is good quality… not very greasy, fatty, or has nerves. I’m not sure if they make their own tortillas on site but they are fresh and tastey. Their red salsa compliments the seafood and meat very well.
The cashier and cook were friendly and there was no wait. I ordered and was out the door within 5 minutes.
I will most definitely be coming back.

If I could rate only based on the food 5 stars.
I’ve Been here about 4 times now and we’ve always had good service and good food.
BUT Today when we went, the girl that worked the 11oclock shift was not in a good mood or something. Attitude when serving us. When we politely asked her for salsa for our chips/​food, gave us attitude and denied us. If it was an extra charge I would have gladly paid for it. She didn’t even give us a baggie for the radishes and only gave us ONE tostada for our ceviche.
I’m not sure if the tall friendly man that works there is the owner but Everytime he’s there I’ve never been disappoint. Always was happy to greet us and willing to accommodate us

This is my second time at Fish Taco Express in Pico Rivera. My wife and I been to original Fish Taco Express in East L. A on Beverly and Altantic they good tacos especially fish tacos. Fish Taco Express open their doors a month. My wife and I were probably their first customers but I’m not sure. The food was really amazing including

4 stars only because it’s cash only for now, sounds like it will change soon. We got a bunch of fish and shrimp tacos. And the people were nice which is always a plus. The food came out fast.
