We have visited twice and enjoyed our meals both times. The best crab cheese puffs and and egg drop soup around! We also tried vermicelli, curry and pad Thai which were all good. Big portions, good value.

One of the best-tasting vermicelli combo thus far. I think the one I ate is Vietnamese. Their secret sauce definitely helps do the trick. I love hoisin sauce. I’ve never seen any Asian restaurant in the area that has it. They did! And it’s my fav brand Lee Kum Kee. Their Kasian egg rolls were heavenly. Since it would take more time to prepare their fried ice cream I ordered milk balls for dessert. When mom says it is good then it must be amazing. So my turn to taste… and…OMG a unique masterpiece! Staff was hospitable and helpful. Kudos.

The fried rice is very well cooked and has good taste. The kasian egg rolls are the best I have had in Texas. Very Satisfied.

This place is top notch. People are friendly and professional, and food is great. Chicken curry is very good and they will make it as spicy as you want. I hope more people find this place so it stays around.

We came, we saw, we devoured everything they set in front of us… mainly me. We ordered appetizers, a couple bowls of some of the best egg drop soup we’ve ever had, lot of places this is boring and syrupy thick broth… not here, lots of tasty goodies in this soup. I love places that put assorted condiments on each table, like Kasian’s…salt and peppa, hoisin sauce, sirracha sauce, soy sauce. I enjoyed the crunchy sweet chili sauced chicken wings, could have been improved just slightly by more spicyness and less sweetness… next time i’ll go with the garlic sauce. We enjoyed an order of crab cheese puffs. I also joyfully and enthusiastically drained a Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk, came to the table with the milk sitting in the bottom of the cup of coffee, poured it over a glass full of ice and the party started. We shared an order of largish fried egg rolls, also very delectable… topped off with excellent service. I will post a plethora of pictures.

A hole in the wall with great service and very tasty food. We had pan fried dumplings and sweet chili wings for appetizers and the beef flat rice noodles and shrimp fried rice for our entrees. SOGOOD! It was just two of us so we definitely had leftovers. It’s BYOB so be sure to walk down to the liquor store a couple doors down if you want an alcoholic beverage with your meal.

Still like the food, but I’m becoming frustrated elsewhere. My last order was two lunch specials of pork vermicelli noodle and beef curry. I requested the soup of the day with one and an egg roll with the other. The egg drop soup was included and was quite good. The beef curry was colorful and quite flavorful, and, at a 2.5÷5 spiciness, had a good level of heat. The pork vermicelli was good, but I felt like it could have more flavor or spice. My order did not contain the included egg roll for the lunch combo. I typically order to-go, and I am usually quoted 15 – 20 minutes. Yet 3 out of 4 times I’ve arrived on time, only to wait for 15 – 25 additional minutes(after being told it would be right out). It’s especially frustrating because the convenience of this location(less than 5 minutes away) is a large reason for ordering here. I’d be fine with a longer wait, as long as I knew about it before I arrived at the restaurant.

Just moved to Pflugerville. Tried this place and I fell in LOVE. I’m glad I didn’t listen to Kristi F’s comment, she has to he crazy. The hostess/waitress/manager is probably the nicest person I’ve met in Pflugerville. I LOVE that the place is BYOB, I’ll have to bring some beer next time I go. It’s a VERY clean restaurant. They have big flat screen tvs, she let us change the chanel to watch the game. It is very obvious that the food is FRESH and cooked to order. We ordered cheese rangoons, beef pad Thai, I forgot the other plate but it was an Asian salad, and the stuffed mushrooms were so good that we got a second round of them. The pad Thai came with a side of peanuts and I didn’t think I would like it with the food, but I LOVED it. Everything we tried was 5 star quality and totally affordable when dinning on a budget.

The food and service is good. But they run out of a lot stuff. First 2 things I ordered, they were out of. They offered something to make it up though.

Definitely 5 stars. I used to see some of my PF Unilocal friends check in here and have been meaning to come here for a long time. I happened to move down the street today and it was just perfect timing to visit! So because it was Halloween eve, we were the only ones in there, but it was a pleasure speaking with our very wonderful server, Nicole. She was incredibly enthusiastic and informative about everything. A few cool things about Kasian: –You can bring your own alcohol. –You can sit outside on the community tables and they will serve you outside. –They deliver! –The food is amazingly good with generous portions for a pretty low price. We shared the tempura veggies. Delicious. I had the tofu pad thai. Delicious. He had the chicken wings which are supposedly phenomenal. This is an all-around great place and really happy this gem is in Pflugerville. I can see myself becoming a regular :) Ps. BYOB!

Please please please do not go to this restaurant. We went in and the restaurant was completely empty, but we just wanted phở to go. We walked in to have a seat and there was a dirty table that remained dirty the whole time we were there. Not to mention the floors were so sticky my flip flops literally stuck to them. After waiting FORTYFIVE minutes we finally tried to cancel out order. The stringy haired woman whom I had only assumed was the hostess(whose only words to us in that whole 45 minutes was«sorry it’s taking so long») tried to give us a free appetizer, which we were no longer interested in. She began babbling about how they are under staffed and a new restaurant and rolling her eyes as if that should have made us want to stay. As she was refunding our money she said to is «Its unfortunate that you couldn’t wait two more minutes because it would have been ready. We’re a new restaurant. That’s not very nice.» It sounds calmer in print than it came across to us. She was all shaky like she was about to explode or something. Very bizarre. I was really taken aback by that and said«really? You’re going to put that on us?» She just huffed off and said«have a good night» as she walked away. That didn’t sit very well with me so we went back in and I asked to see her manager. Much to my surprise she said that she was the manager! I continued to ask if she had a boss or owner or someone else I could speak to, but she just kept asking if there was a problem(obviously there was). Eventually she asked me to move where I was standing(still don’t understand why, I was quite out of the way and not blocking anything or anyone) and when I refused she said that she was going to have to ask me to leave because I was«in her face»(I was literally leaning back against a pillar the while time, a good 4 or 5 feet away from her). After her being combative and rude the whole time and clearly having no concept of what she had done wrong I got pretty angry. As we were walking out she asked(sarcastically) if there was anything else she could do for us, to which I *might* have replied that she could go straight to hell. Oops. I work in hospitality and I am not in the habit of getting angry quickly or yelling at restaurant managers, but on the flip side there is a way that you speak to customers. We’re not crazy or unreasonable people, and if she would have acknowledged us or offered us something after we’d been waiting maybe 30 minutes it may have been different. Hell if she would have given a crap it would have been different. Really not ok.

We had a coupon for this place so naturally I was very eager to check it out. When we entered the place, it was completely empty so I was a little scared that this was a bad sign. However, this place was actually awesome and it’s relatively new so people just don’t know about it. I’m glad I discovered this hidden gem in Pfluggerville! Let’s talk about the things I love about this place: 1. The price– for the portions and quality you get, its awesome. Since they are new they are also running a 20% off your entire bill special until May 1st. The prices are already great and getting to take even more money off your bill is great. 2. The food– This food is sooo legit. We got the pad thai and the pad see ew. Both were HUGE portions and the food tasted incredibly authentic. I literally felt like someone’s Thai grandmother was in the back kitchen preparing all of these dishes. It was great. Also, for an appetizer, definitely get the spring rolls. You get two of them and they are massive. Definitely great fresh flavor with lots of mint and cilantro. Perfect for two people! 3. The service– Granted, we were the only people in the restaurant, but our waitress was incredibly friendly and so attentive. She had such a fun, bubbly personality and for a empty restaurant checked on us the right amount without seeming like she was looming over us at all times. 4. Also, its a BYOB place and theres a tv, so if you want to drink cheap beers, eat great food, and watch a football game, thats totally fine! I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. Check it out!!!

Not bad! It’s tough to go past Taste of Ethiopia, but if you’re in the mood for Asian food in Pflugerville, this is a great spot to try. The chow mein and vegetable lo mein were great. We got the takeout, so no idea about service or ambiance, but the guy who checked us out was very friendly and pleasant.

Had take out from Kasian. The food is much more authentic Asian cuisine than you can get anywhere in the Northern Austin metro area. For Pflugerville this place is a Gem mixed in with overall bland food scene. That being said… it was decent food. Had better. Had much worse. Egg rolls were unique and very good. The veggie tempura was decent tempura. Dipping sauces were both top notch. The Pad Thai noodles were a bit mushy, peanuts, sprouts, and veggies on the side. The chicken was fairly bland. Sauce was very good. Sprouts had a metallic flavor making me think they were canned. I could be wrong. The flat rice noodle dish was good. Noodles fried separate from the sauce/veggies/chicken. Sauce was very flavorful and spicy at my request. Prices were good. Portion sizes were fairly large. If Kasian can tweak a few things, They have the opportunity to be a fantastic addition to the food scene in the area. The little strip mall that occupies their building has another Gem and exotic restaurant. It could be a mecca in Northern Austin for real, authentic, and different styles of different food. I will be back.

I like this place. We usually order pick-up because it’s conveniently close to our house, but the interior looks like it’d be nice to sit down for dine-in also. I start with the cream cheese crab puffs. Yum! Seriously some of the best I’ve ever eaten and so near perfect to symmetrical! I go for the chicken pad thai but I’ve had a few bites of the chicken fried rice and the pork lo mein and both are really good. It’s pretty standard Asian fare but done well and in great portions. The prices are very reasonable and we totally plan on being regulars when the mood strikes for tasty Asian food.

In of all honesty, I was actually trying to go to another restaurant but it was closed due to the Memorial Holiday. Lucky, I found Kasion Fusion just a few doors down and it was a winner! As far as first impressions go, it had this«hole in the wall» feel which is usually a sign of good food vs. the mediocre commercial chains you see off of every interstate highway. Well, the place was small and quiet due to the holiday and there was only one party of four at a booth. I browsed through the menu and was surprised by the GREAT prices! What I ordered: –Dr. Pepper $ 2 (I would have ordered alcohol, but they’re under review for their licence). –Cheese/Crab Wontons(Four Pieces) $ 3 –Shrimp Pad Thai $ 10 The Breakdown: Holy Cow, I don’t know how they do it, but this has been the BESTCRABWONTONS I ever had! Nicely golden, not over fried or folded lousy like at other places. The sizes are big and when you take your first bite on each of them, the filling oozes out on the top! Sooooo Goood! I wanted more but I had to remind myself I had dinner coming up! Uugggh! As for the Pad Thai, after ordering I completely forgot that the dish includes Peanuts(I’m NOT allergic but I just don’t like the taste of it in my cuisines). However after receiving my dish, I was again surprised that the peanuts was on the side. In fact the plate presentation was excellent! The Peanut crumbs, the Carrot strips and the Sprouts were artistically set to the side. I liked the idea of it because it allowed me to create my own Kasian Fusion of taste from the garnishes. The shrimps were of decent size and ultimately the dish was delicious! The Negatives: The only thing I could complain about was the lighting. Lighting can play a big role on first impression on people’s food. And K.F.‘s food deserves to be seen in the best light, especially if they’re serving it on bright, white, square plates. And because of the bad lighting, my photos of the food doesn’t do it justice! Other than that, great place and great service! My waiter was kind and prompt!

Nope… We truly wanted to like this place, but the dishes were not good. I went here on the 15th around lunch hours(1:30) and we were the only people there. The place is cute and all, and the waitress was nice but the food=yikes! They ARE giving 20% off now because they are new so that is one star. The restaurant is cute, loved, the painted bamboo on the wall, it looked life-like so that is star 2. The pad thai was tooooo sweet and the tofu tasted like waffles covered in syrup! The vegetables on the chow mein tasted frozen even though the waitress assured us everything was fresh and has no MSG. I am not convinced though. I could not get a firm answer. The egg rolls were nice. There soup was okay. The appetizers fooled us because they were great in comparison to those lacking lunch special dishes. The sweet tea was a bit too sweet, too. Sorry, I just want to provide real feedback. Plus, it took 50 minutes for us to get our food. We were the only ones there with 2 dishes. How does it take that long? Especially since the pad thai tasted like it came from a kit from Archer Farms(or any other generic brand) and the veggies were seriously microwaved, they had to be. I am shocked by these perfect reviews. Maybe we just hit an off day? I don’t know if we will be returning. I would be shocked if this place stays open, that is how rough the food was to us.

I will go back and give this place another shot. Not a huge fan of the glowing neon green lights that make your food look slightly radioactive … APPETIZERS: Egg rolls were tasty, but cold in the middle. Pork dumplings were just kind of mushy, nothing special. I did really like the sauces that were served with the appetizers. ENTREE: I had a combo noodle dish that was just OK. Vegetables were cooked nicely, but the pork and chicken were sort of tough and flavorless. SERVICE: The waitstaff was very attentive(however, it was pretty dead when we were there). The 20 percent off special is running through the end of April.
