Grappellis is my favorite pizza place in Peterborough. The quality is great and I love seeing the workers throwing the pizza dough.

I had an italian sub and an order of poppers. I was not impressed with either. I walked in this place and wanted to walk back out. This is your typical greasy pizza joint. You walk in and you can smell the grease. This place looks like it has never been cleaned since its opening day. This place needs kitchen nightmares.

Awesome gluten free pizza! The crust and toppings were super tasty, and the delivery service was perfect. This wasn’t a standard, boring gluten free pizza — we would definitely eat there again.

I love the garlic flavor in their cheese pizza! Very consistent with their food.

The problem with Grappelli’s is that they’re not consistent. Sometimes they give you the wrong pizza and don’t seem to care(don’t even apologize) even after you have to drive all the way back. Sometimes everything is perfect and delicious. Although, I feel like their pizzas are kind of dry lately(the crust needs a bit more oil or something.) There seems to be a lot of turnover as far as staff is concerned so recently we got a pizza that didn’t even taste like it used to… it was just weird. And sometimes it seems like the staff is more interested in socializing with each other than taking care of business. I think the owner or manager needs to be more involved.

If this is the same management that ran the Grappelli’s in 2001 in Milford, I wouldn’t even give them one star. I worked for them for a few weeks before a homophobic guy and the owner who was a prissy woman found out I was a lesbian and FIRED me. I was so flabbergasted and insulted. Not only did I provide amazing service and was always on time with a smile for my job but I did everything asked of me. Oh well, I wouldn’t wanted to have worked for some bigots anyway. Now I’m making $ 850 a week working near Boston and they’re still rolling shitty pizza dough. Have fun!

Crapelli’s is good for one thing, their crust. The cheese blend is terrible. The staff is predominately horrible, and always has been. Definitely stay away from Hawaiian pizzas. The ham tastes like straight up spam. Far over priced. Definitely under quality. I will say they have decent salads. And the cookies are good. The baklava… Holy Christ 2.95 for a bite size piece? I can’t comment on the flavor cause not willing to get raped in my wallet for that minuscule portion.

Grappelli’s is without doubt, the best Pizza in the Monadnock area. Steve, the owner is passionate about then quality and flavor of his ingredients. This is New York style Pizza that you’d be pleased to find in New York. Finding it here in NH is a minor miracle, This may sound snobbish, but I grew up on Regina pizza(Thatcher St, Boston) and often have Pizza in NYC and New Haven. Grappelli’s is the only place around here that can hold it’s own with the better places in the Northeast. Steve, the owner is a great guy. The employees are very nice and well trained. They seem to be local kids and are consistently cheerful.

Great food for the whole family. The pizza is thin crispy NYC style w real authentic sauce. A large variety of styles to choose from.

There are so many pizza places in Peterborough… you wonder how they all stay open and this is one of those places — even though it seems to have been in business forever. From reading the other reviews, it seems as if new owners may be the cause of the decline. To me, nothing compares to the quality of the Pizza Barn, but on a recent night the Pizza Barn was closed, so we gave this place a try. The pizza… meh…probably would have been better getting a high end frozen pizza and cooking it at home. Would likely not try this place again…

Ok place to grab a slice at lunch but not much more, over priced for quality and time it takes to get anything from them.

Grappelli’s is a Peterborough institution. That said, I’m not sure why it’s been around so long. The pizza is OK, interior is what you’d expect at a restaurant last renovated in 1993, and the service was grim at best. I went with 2 friends this afternoon, about 6pm, the place was completely empty so I was expecting our food within 5 – 10 minutes at most. After 15 minutes(to make 2 sandwiches and a salad) our food arrived. My chicken parm sub was lukewarm at best, in the middle was as cold as if it had come from the refrigerator, the cheese was not melted. I brought it back, asking for a hot sub, 10 minutes later(after my 2 friends had finished eating) I got a new hot sub, but had to get it to-go because we needed to leave. The second sub was OK, but it would have been nice to get our food within the same time frame. Oh, and the best part was that the staff didn’t believe my sub was too cold. I could hear remarks about how it was hot enough, what was I thinking, etc, and kept getting cold stares from the staff. Not professional, folks. I probably won’t go back here, unless I hear that their customer service and food prep improve.

This isn’t a typical pizza factory, which means two things: #1. They have great high quality NYC style pizza #2. Its fairly pricey as far as pizza goes It’s definitely my favorite pizza place in the region

in a town where half of the places to eat are Pizza places this location doesn’t stick out at all. Used to be a nice spot for pizza, subs and other features now not so much. They seemingly epitomize the old catch phrase ‘eat here get gas’ too bad they are not combined with a gas station. The place has gone down hill since they last lost. Typical of most pizza places that get sold. The new owner raised the prices and lowered the quality and hence made it not a place worth stopping at. I believe they share the building with a dunkin donuts. Most of the traffic and parking for this area can be attributed to them. Last couple of orders for me put this location as a pass. I had a BLT that didn’t taste like it had real bacon in it. If I had to guess bacon bits or possibly beggin strips. Seating only for 10 or so, so if you are going on a summer day I would plan on picking up one set of kids and parents will make the wait and the cramped bathroom like area unbearable. I am very curious about the 3 filtered reviews. Everyone that I have talked to in this area thinks this place isn’t worth stopping at so I would assume that all are bad reviews. This place is definitely not 4 stars.

Best pizza in town by my taste buds. Their calzone is some of the best food available in town at any price.

Grapp’s is the bomb. Good NY style thin crust cooked in real ovens no conveyor belt here. Top quality ingredients and wow the owner is Italian not greek, They maybe the only ones in NH. If you are randomly in peterborough and want some pie this is the spot. Also chicken facochia sandwich with pesto mayo= really good

I read the review by Joe and I have to say I totally DISAGREE! The owner is one of the nicest people in town and he’s always treated us right every time. To tell you the truth I don’t even like pizza in general but this place has the tastiest pizza in town. It actually tastes like it has all the real ingredients and is made with care. My family loves going there and the staff are really very nice. In addition to pizzas, they have great home baked cookies and other desserts. By other desserts I mean that if you are lucky and ask they may just have the best cannolis you will ever taste this side of NYC(or North End for that matter). The other night we were desperate to find a dessert for a friend’s dinner and we happened to ask the owner if he might by any miracle have anything other than cookies and brownies. It so happened that he had just done some catering for an event and still had the ingredients for a delicious cannoli so he whipped some up(with madeira wine mixed in the fresh ricotta filling). It was finger lickin’ good! He even had some extra and gave them out to try to the customers sitting eating their pizza. I don’t know who thinks this place isn’t good — everyone I know agrees that this is some of the best in town. ps. I am sure that the owner DIDNOT write the first review!
