I hate to do this but again I was disappointed. Ordered a heart shaped pizza and was told its only available in xl but with a 10% discount. OK. Fine. Normally we order a large and its perfect for two with leftovers for another meal. It was so tiny! So I learned my lesson there no heart shaped pizzas ever. Then I also ordered a salad with Italian instead I believe I got oil and vinegar which would be normally okay but it was made with white vinegar and tons of oil. Yuck like eating a slippery salad with no flavor at all. Plus the lettuce was brown and an old croûton was in the mix… And the salad didn’t come with croutons!!! Just order their pizza regular shaped and crispy.

I’m incredibly disappointed. The other times my family has ordered, the food came in a timely manner, the delivery driver was friendly and the pizza was amazing. This time doing a web order, I get a call saying the drinks we ordered weren’t available, we chose something else. The driver came 20 minutes later than the 30 – 40 minute estimated time of arrival, the appetizer I had ordered wasn’t available but I wasn’t told that when they called for our drinks, after the driver left I called and was informed we weren’t charged for it. All that was going to be overlooked until I opened the pizza boxes. The cheese pizza is burnt, but I have a hungry child so he’ll still eat it. The other pizza isn’t even cooked, it’s dough was stretching when I tried to pick up a slice, so I’m going to try and salvage it in my oven now. Today was a horrible experience and because of this, we won’t be returning customers. Anyone reading this, call to confirm your web orders and check your pizza before the driver leaves.

First off, I LOVE being able to order online. I ordered 6 or 7 pizzas on Halloween for delivery and the pizza was great and delivered on time. Then, this weekend, I ordered 3 pizzas online for pickup. The pizza was ready when I got there. The restaurant was very clean, and the server was very friendly. I look forward to bringing my kids back to eat there. Looks like a fun spot!

Not too bad for quick pizza fix in the area. The price was reasonable for two huge slices of pizza, with a salad and soda. Wish the service was a little better, had to keep on asking for things, and it seemed my waiter was more interested in texting in the corner, than checking up on me. But here nor there:) If I was in the area, running errands and needed quick, reasonable food fix… I would consider this place. But nothing exciting.

Bomb slice. Closest pizza place I’ve found in town that reminds me of the pizza joint I grew up on. Online ordering is convenient for both parties.

I never order a plain cheese pizza anywhere… but here, it’s the BEST. Their salads are good and so are their croutons. I can’t wait to go back–

Meh-diocre pizza. Concepts sure look great on the menu, but execution often fails. They have good salads tho. There are other great food options around, but if you must have pizza, just beware you may leave unsatisfied.

Great service… great salads… pizza is good but the burger was just a little over cooked and salty. Still Highly recommend…

Braulio is very attentive and helpful. Ask for him and you won’t be disappointed. We only get cheese pizza when we come here and it pleases every time. I love getting their marinara on the side, it’s the perfect dipping sauce. Thanks for the awesome food and service red boy ptown! We will be back!

I don’t care about anything else! The red sauce is perfect! The charred sourdough crust was perfect! Yummy veggies! The BEST!

I love Red Boy Pizza. The pizza is always consistent and delicious and the fact that it is close to where I live is a plus. I’ve tried a lot of local places here in Petaluma but I wind up going back to Red Boys.

Red Boy Pizza has Port!!! I could not be more thrilled. It is rare enough for a regular restaurant to have port, which is basically the only thing I drink, but to find it at a pizza joint is impressive. And it’s a good one too. It isn’t a 10 Year Tawny or anything but it’s a real port from Portugal and from a well respected port lodge. Yes, I realize I’m giving them an updated«Yay! I’m a fan» based mostly on the fact that they have port, but that’s how I feel when I run into a pleasant surprise like this. Plus, the pizzas are very good, as are the pasta dishes. Plus, they donate to local charities, which is important to me. I want to know that I’m spending my money at a place that gives back to our community. I hadn’t been in for a while and had forgotten how much I like the set-up and décor. If you are dragged by your significant other to the Target shopping center, tell them you’ll go but only if they buy you a pizza and beer(or port) at Red Boy Pizza.

We came in tonight for some pizza. We were greated with smiles and hellos when we walked in the door. Everyone is always so friendly here. Trenton took great care of us and our pizzas were outstanding as was our service. Too many times my order is messed up when we go out because I am a vegan and I have to send it back or have adjustments made to it. This has never happened here and that makes me really happy. Thank you to Trenton and all the other nice guys that work here. We enjoyed our meal and look forward to the next time we visit.

Great ingredients, innovative cuisine, amazing sourdough crust. This is the only pizza I enjoy in petaluma. HOWEVER– DONOTGETDELIVERY! The pizza won’t be hot or fresh enough and it will lose the essential characteristics that otherwise define its high quality.

Would have never picked this place for lunch, but we were with a group so had no choice in the matter. The restaurant is new and tastefully decorated, however the food was very average and so was the service this time. I had the burger, which was ok. A curiosity about the place; they didn’t have any hot sauce of any kind. How can you have a pizza place and not have hot sauce?

Soooo bummed. I have always been a fan of RedBoy pizza from the San Rafael location way back in the 80s. Missed it when gone from Petaluma. We were quite frequent customers. Just had to try it when realized it re-opened. They screwed up My order on a Pizza Vinicia. Simple pizza really. Cheese sauce linquicia and mushrooms. Service nice at counter got to car and starving my opened box and NO mushrooms. PG&E had been out all day. Happy to be getting take out no cooking. Dashed! Went back in and the said oops will be just a few minutes. I asked if they were just going to slap some mushrooms on there? The response O no well run it thru the oven. Ok. I wait a minute. Can I get you a water they ask? Water? Uh no thank you I left the restaurant and came back a 10 minutes later or so. Sorry for the inconvenience they said. Pizza cold and looks like mushrooms slapped on there. BUMMED.

I am not normally a fan of chain pizza joints, but this one is great! It is very easy to order online and they are pretty fast w/delivery. The Margarita pizza is my favorite. They also have great garlic bread and calamari. This is now our«go to» pizza delivery spot.

In all fairness, RB is a 3 plus plus plus currently, as a new-kid-on-the-block restaurant. It could have been a 4(perhaps), but they are still a little green and need to find a rhythm to be a better restaurant. Of course, the place is spotless(as a newly opened place) and the service was cheery(our server was Hadas and she was spot on). My only complaint perhaps was the Greek Salad. It came off as very very ordinary, for a $ 10 salad. Thin on ingredients, and not as large as a large should have been. I was comparing it to Mary’s Salad, which I remember as about $ 7. Red Boy’s version was smaller, and less ingredients. I did like the garlic bread, hot and garlicky. Pasta just so so. I had the ice tea and it was quickly refilled. So, I am gonna go back again and see it the rating will round up to a 4 star. I must say, RB is better than most other pizza joints in town.

I have to say, I’m not a fan of chain restaurants. Predominately, I want to use my hard earned resources to reinvest in the little guys, mom and pop stores, and specialty shops whenever possible, so when my brother suggested Red Boy Pizza, I cringed at even the name. Little did I know, I was in for a delightful array of surprises. Location is in Petaluma’s newest shopping mall just off the freeway, and has so many new stores popping up, I regularly forget they are there. We were seated by a friendly and quiet waitress, and then, the menu happened. I was actively looking for a reason to dislike the place, and I though I had spotted it when I came to the menu. «AHA! The menu has too many pictures, too many words, too many opti…» That’s when I trailed off, actually reading the options, and finding many things that actually sounded appealing. We started with house red, Anchor Steam, and milk for my non-imbibing brother, and a Arugula salad($ 9.55) dressed in citrus and cheese crumbles that was surprisingly refreshing. For our entrees we had their apparently award winning Margarita pizza($ 17.15/medium which my brother guarded with his arms like a ravenous wildabeast), a Chicken garlic mushroom pizza($ 19.55/medium, my family’s favorite), and the biggest shock of the evening, Lasagna($ 12.15). My dad makes lasagna from scratch with slowly simmered sauce built with love, but this lasagna gives him something to compete with. It was perfectly tangy, salty, and savory, with no cloying tomato sweetness or harsh acid. I will definitely get that next time. Also heard about their desserts as we left, and if they are anywhere as surprisingly good as the meal, im sure they will be a hit. Red Boy is case in point why I give even skeptically interesting restaurants a try; sometimes, they surprise you.
