We enjoyed the visit, was part of a birthday party. HOWEVER, we feel we were tricked into tipping twice, which meant we paid a 36 percent tip! Our bill came with gratuity added on one ticket while ticket we signed did not show the added tip in the blank space so we added it there and the waitress and restaurant said nothing! Just took the money! this is deceitful and and down right WRONG! I wonder how many people this is happening to, make sure if you eat there to double check your bill as the waiters will left you pay double! First and last visit for us!

My husband and I visited this past Friday night. The service was extremely slow and non existent. Our server took our order for Hibachi and then we never saw him again. We didn’t get any drink refills. There was probably 20 birthdays Friday evening. By mid meal we had a headache from the constant drum and banging of the gong during the meal due to the servers singing Happy Birthday continuously. At the end of our meal, we sat at the table for another 20 minutes just waiting on our check. Our Hibachi chef did a great job, which was the only decent part of the dining experience. Food: 4 Service: 2

Have come a few times for lunch! They were able to adjust the lunch sushi for us. Usually in and out in a reasonable amount of time. But wouldn’t go if I were in a rush. Great food and portions!

The chef at our table was a hoot! I ordered the chicken and steak hibachi. They forgot to write down that I wanted fried rice so when he passed out rice, I didn’t get any. They had to get some that was made in the back kitchen. I ordered a glass of wine but I had reorder it with another person because they forgot so I didn’t get it until the end of my meal. The steak and vegetables were delicious but the chicken was chewy so I didn’t eat much of it. I think I’d give it another try because it was a very busy night for them so I can understand some of the problems.

Great service and great food. We have been there several times and have enjoyed everything. We normally eat at the regular tables.

It’s such a family friendly restaurant. I was in PTC visiting my cousin last month, we were celebrating his birthday, after the delicious dinner they even bring out the drum and some other instrument to play the Happy Birthday song. That was so funny and everyone in the restaurant was singing along. Thank you so much guys and definitely will come back!

Great food and showmanship. Everything was perfect except for the drunk guy next to us.

Candyland. Meaning everything is ridiculously sweet. Yes, some people like it, but I sure don’t. It’s funny the restaurant is called Kobe, because they don’t actually have Kobe beef! My agedashi tofu came on a doily style napkin. Where is the ponzu? My husband’s steak and shrimp dish was so sweet, he just gave up on it. No amount of Sriracha or soy sauce could save it. Meager selection of sake, too. I would drive to Atlanta to eat before I’d come here again.

Kobe has been my favorite for several years now. The service is usually excellent. During peak times it may be a little slow but they are quick with appetizers and drinks so if the entrée’s are slow that’s ok. The Snow Mountain Roll is TO-DIE for !!! This is also the place in PTC for celebrity spotting! With the movie industry coming to town the word has spread fast that Kobe is the best in town. I recently spotted a couple of Producers from the Walking Dead and have heard from friends of seeing other big name celebrities. The key is to sit in the dining room. The Hibachi area can get really full & loud. We’ve always sat in the main dining area and received GREAT service!!!

Our food was delicious. Hanna was a sweet, young waitress. The atmosphere would have been fine but the section on the other side of the half wall was empty and several employees were in a both. They were talking very loud about their schedule. «Go get your own!» Then singing loud and just not appropriate conversation or behavior for the dining room.

Kobe is always good, always fun. BF and I came here with his family. We all did hibachi. I got the vegetable one, and got the miso soup. LOVED the miso soup. The only real reason I withhold a star this time is they only had a fried tofu hibachi option. Why is it fried??? Ew. I want regular tofu. Regular, grilled tofu. Not fried. Why is everything fried down south? Tried a bite of BF’s fried rice. Fine, nothing awesome. Someone had a birthday in the room and the employees sang happy birthday and it was really loud and obnoxious, but some people like that kind of thing. BF’s nephew used a booster seat and it was nearly falling of the chair all night. They may want to invest in some new booster seats. Those ones are just not safe. Wish they had non-friend tofu. That would’ve made this perfect.

Visited this establishment during weekend lunch hours, placed a takeout order, and they forgot our sushi! I had to call back and my fiancée made a 20 minute trip back for the food. I always check my bags, but this time I didn’t. I still think that she should’ve checked the bag before giving it to us. They did comp the rolls, so I give them three stars for that alone! I ordered the bento box and the tempura was bland! The salad they gave us was iceberg lettuce and a few slivers of carrot and red cabbage, the fried rice was okay and the eel roll had bones in it!!! I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat there again.

I will say that I have never written a review for any restaurant. This is by far the best hibachi you will ever have. I have been to higher end hibachi at resorts and across the country. Kobe blows them all away. From the salad dressing to the yum yum sauce, it is all delicious! This is the place we come to whenever we are visiting from California. You can not go wrong. And as an extra special bonus, the portions are huge :)

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The prices are reasonable, the servers are so friendly & Benny the Chef is the one to ask for! You definitely have to try the Thai Roti and Curry Chicken appetizer! It is to die for and the absolute sole motivation causing me to take the time to write this review. My entrée was Filet Teriyaki Mignon and chicken. Cooked to perfection with their excellent fried rice! I will most definitely eat here again soon!!!

Food = 4 Price = 4 Experience = 2(waiter was unorganized and delivered food in the wrong order? But, overall not too bad) Silly banging of drums and loud singing happy birthday was extremely annoying… and it happened several times during our dinner… just stupid and silly.

1 star: for being a restaurant ! 6 floor staff overwhelmed by 12 customers! A host /bartender, who’s name starts with the 1st letter of the alphabet, doesn’t even know the menu, or what some items on a sushi plate are. Weak. Not to mention the lack of personal hygiene. One word — Deodorant Don’t waste your time, drive through McD’s, get a filet o fish, The service will be better too.

I’ve been coming here for over a year, mostly for dinner and more recently for happy hour(4:30−6:30). I can’t speak for hibachi because I always get the sushi(which is fantastic). Basically everything I’ve tried has been a winner. Even the soup and salad are great(and cheap). The fish is always fresh, and their rolls are creative. My current obsession is the black pepper tuna roll — it’s spicy and delicious. The Japanese bagel and dinosaur are also winners, and if you like more simple(and non-raw) sushi, I’d suggest the chicken or shrimp tempura rolls. The tempura batter itself is amazing, so the shrimp one is my go-to appetizer. I also love the wontons and the lettuce wraps. The best thing about this place is almost all of my favorites are half off during happy hour. It’s an insane deal. Prices during normal hours are comparable to any other good sushi place, so it’s a real steal. This is one of my top 5 sushi restaurants right now, so I highly recommend it.
