Just moved to the area and still trying local restaurants. I’m not sure how you mess up a California roll, but it was mush. As well as was another roll we ordered. The seaweed salad was not seasoned. Egg rolls weren’t bad. It’s right around the corner, but I won’t eat here again.

Average service, bland favors, everything taste the same. Could have had a better meal from frozen grocery store Chinese! Don’t waist your money here!

Low to moderate priced Americanize Chinese food. Nothing fancy however portions depending on what you order can go from skimpy to abundant, stick to chicken and pork dishes if your hungry is my advice! Sushi is not that great, below average almost. This is reflected in the fact that most of the prices are also low for most sushi items, sometimes you do get just what you paid for. It’s not inedible by any means simply not up to par for most other sushi places. Service is fast, although not always English speaking so your mileage may vary.

has to be the worst chinese restaurant I’ve ever eaten in. The Kung Pao sauce was like brown gravy mix from the grocery store. the orange chicken was a gooey, corn-syrup mess. Also, they played a kid’s movie that was very annoying. I couldn’t even talk to my family because it was so loud and the kids kept staring at the movie instead of interacting. Pretty awful

Pros — Lunch specials available every day except Sunday UNTIL4 pm! The brown rice is excellent and it automatically came instead of white rice. The raw tuna was good quality. The lunch special came with plenty of meat, in fact more meat than noodles in the noodle dish. Plenty of random items like kimchi fried rice, 12 Chinese donuts for $ 2.85, and fries Lots of items on the menu — around eight pages for the menu and almost overwhelming A staff member who acts as a sushi chef and a staff member that takes takeout orders. The hot and sour soup that came with the meal had tofu and two kinds of mushrooms in there. Most lunch specials are around $ 5.50−6.50. I thought it was cool how the sushi was decorated and had Japanese mayonnaise on the side. Cons — A couple bones inside my sushi. Lots of oil, almost like the mall food court. Gross crab rangoons like chunks of not melted cream cheese Very close to 3.5 and 4 stars.

Since moving to PTC we have been in search of a decent, yet not super expensive chinese/asian restaurant. We moved from Gwinnett and as one might expect, they were prevalent there. Competition can be a good thing for food lovers. We’ve eaten at China Café 95 times, all as take out. Décor is nice enough and there are always people eating in, we just like the convenience of heading home with Chinese and watching a flick in the comfort of our own home. Although it has been good enough for us to come back, every time we say… wish we could find a decent chinese or sushi restaurant to pick up take out. A little pricey for what you get and they don’t offer any coupons, although the do have daily specials that are good. The chinese dishes tend to be a little heavy on the sauces and the veggies are just a little on the too cooked side. Over the visits we have ordered General Tso’s, curry chicken, spicy Chicken with Vegetables, hunan sauteed Beef, Twice cooked pork, Kung Pao Chicken, and Kung Pao 3 ingredients, and Pheonix & Dragon. Spring rolls are pretty good. Crab Rangoon a little chewy. As for the Sushi, they tend to make mistakes and skimp on their sushi. Generally it is good and fresh, but they chop their tuna up in the rolls, and indication of not-select tuna. One time we ordered the special that was sashimi and added a few rolls on the side. Their miso soup was not so good. They goofed on the salad order giving us the wrong one. They forget to include wasabi and ginger on their orders and if you ask for extra they charge you a dollar for each… and then they will even forget to pack that into your bag. Management was accommodating to give me credit against future order when I called back to tell them their error. We will continue to use it as our Drive by pick up on our way back from Atlanta… keeping the menu in the car to order and have ready when we turn onto Peachtree Pkwy headed home. Still searching the«gotta have» it chinese/asian/sushi/thai restuarants in PTC.

Just fair. Not great, not poor. I was pleased to see that this Chinese restaurant had a proper sushi bar, so instead of going with one of the Chinese food lunch specials, I ordered the sushi lunch combo. The waitress seemed a little surprised as she had put down those crunchy noodle things on the table. The lunch combo comes with soup, salad and two rolls from the limited menu. The egg drop soup was quite good. It was followed by a salad with way too much ginger dressing. Lots of cucumber and avocado slices topped a piece of shredded crab. Other than there was too much salad dressing, it was tart and delicious. The main course — a california roll and a tuna roll — were rather plainly laid out on the plate with ginger and wasabe. The rolls were clearly fresh but seemed thinner than what I expected. Overall, a little expensive for lunch. Would I come back? Maybe I’ll try one of the Chinese specials next time.
