My wife and I went here for the first time yesterday. It was ok. We started with salads that were very tasty. Interestingly enough, they didn’t have a Caesar salad. Both salads came with a balsamic glaze dressing that was delicious. I had the chicken piccata and my wife had the lasagna. I liked the chicken and it came with thin sliced roasted potatoes and roasted kale. The chicken breast was really small. The potatoes tasted good and the kale was delicious and I’m not a big fan of kale. It was dry roasted to where it was light and flavorful. Some of it had a crisp texture that added to the taste. My wife’s lasagna must have been from a part of italy we’re not used to. It was mostly meat and thin lasagna noodles. No marinara, no ricotta and very little mozzarella cheese. It was also really greasy. Maybe this is authentic for a certain part of italy but it wasn’t what we expected. The service was great and the owner was very friendly and with an italian accent. Nice ambience too. The food was expensive for what it was. We both had water, a salad and a main dish. The bill was around $ 60 with tip. Overall, I like it because it is a small independently owned restaurant and it’s not your Italian chain«boil in a bag» pasta place. However, it’s not an Italian family restaurant you would experience in NY or NJ with all homemade pasta.

Ate here this week. The food was great and the owner was really friendly. One of the waitresses, on the other hand, needs to work on her customer service. We sat down, she said nothing to us and just handed us a menu. I had to say hello to her to get any type of interaction. It’s a bit pricy, but I will eat here again.

Eccellente! First time at restaurant last night and had a wonderful time. We are of Italian descent and from NY. Havent had food this good outside of our own kitchen at home. Had gnocchi siciliano, ravioli, antipasti plate and a wonderful limoncello cake. Whether or not the pasta was fresh made, the sauces they used totally transformed the dishes. Their basil pesto infused marinara was beyond delicious! Oh, and you must try the Blood Orange Bellini. Meraviglioso!!! Many thanks to the Folchitto family for bringing good italian food to PTC!

Best Italian food in PTC! The lasagna is amazing, not too saucy or cheesy like most places. Good tortellini’s. The bruschetta is also very tasty. Great staff, Always very attentive and family friendly.

As an real Italian being in USA only 2 years on a work visa, this is an authentic Italiano restaurant. Eating here like being in Rome. Excellent work — keep up the great work. Giorgio

This place was horrible from the time we walked in the door. We weren’t greeted at the door, the oil came to our table AFTER the bread was delivered and eaten, the waitress was sloppy who shuffled around in her Ugg boots and ratty looking blue jeans, the restaurant was cold, one of the owners seemed totally disengaged as he was slouched over the front counter messing with his phone instead of being welcoming and engaging with his guests. They forgot to put our order in so it took about an hour to get our food and there were only four other tables filled. A different waitress told us what happened; the owner guy gave us some sorry excuse about the chicken being cooked wrong. To make matters worse, the food was not worth the wait. If you like a nice dining experience overall, go to Carrabba’s down the road!

Food okay…3rd time back and it is very apparent each time that unless you are a friend of the owner; service is sub par. Had to wait long time for initial drinks that were not full and had to ask to have someone take our order; get a refill; get boxes; get the check(twice) all while watching the owner daunt all over the 2 tables with friends. We never had one person come to us during entire meal to check if we needed anything or were enjoying our meal. At the end we opted to go elsewhere for dessert. Since we were never offered it in the first place. If I am going to overpay to eat out, at least I could get decent service. Btw they close at 9 but we saw them turn a couple away at 8:30 due to closing at 9. Must be nice to be a small business who can be so unconcerned with return customers. Although convenient to where we live; we won’t be back. I’ll drive further for a more enjoyable dining experience.

I’ve been here 3 times so far. The owner is wonderful and comes around to say hello and make sure everything is okay however that is where the good ends. Most of the pasta is box(per waitress). I had ravioli as that is the only pasta homemade and it was not bad. However the meatballs that i had ordered for my son were incredibly dry and the rigatoni was under cooked and hard. The lasagna my daughter received was also dry. It wasn’t bad per say but definitely not worth the price. The last time i went we were brought out warm rolls with no plates and no butter. The rolls were incredibly dry. Too much flour perhaps. The service was not very good as there were maybe two other tables and our drinks stayed empty for over 10 minutes. Another disappointing aspect was that they do not offer freshly grated parm for your meals. When I asked for some i was given a shaker of pregrated cheese like the kind you get at pizza shops. Overall I was disappointed in service and quality for price I was paying. I gave them 3 tries and they failed at each.

Hubs and I accidentally ordered the same thing, and neither of us enjoyed it. We had the rigatoni carbonara. The noodles were undercooked and when we answered the«how is everything» question asked by the owner we were informed that«that’s how rigatoni is and everyone else is eating it». Sooo… He did take them off of our bill, and we ate it because we were in a hurry and didn’t have time to wait on something else. But. I wouldn’t recommend the rigatoni. Unless you want crunchy noodles. Service otherwise was kind of «meh». We never saw our waitress again after our food was delivered.

Service was extremely slow. BRUSCHETTA, very good, bread fresh, topped with tomatoes and Romano cheese were spot on.($ 8) However, the rest of the meal… not so good. PENNEGANACHIO E GAMBERIZ: Penne was bad, some over cooked and clumped together, some under cooked and crunchy. Very dry, menu said with sauce, hard pressed to find it. Clump crab meat, straight from a can or jar, no flavor at all. Topped with pan seared shrimp, this was good, they knew how to pan sear the shrimp.($ 18) FETTINAPANATA — I’ve known this dish as Milanese, thin steak coated with bread crumbs. This was dry and no flavor. It was like sans seasoning! The roasted potatoes were oil drenched and soggy, not what I would define as roasted. The vegetable side, Spinach, was boiled to death, almost mushy.($ 17) For a $ 40+ dollars meal, this was very sub par.

Very noisy. The bottle of wine we ordered was not available so waitress brought us a opened bottle that was not full. We paid for a full bottle. Food was just ok. Not spectacular as other reviews had indicated. The food wasn’t bad, just not spectacular. The service was good.

Restaurant hours are listed as 6 – 9:00 on Friday night. My wife and I walked in at 8:40 and the only words out of the employee’s mouth were, «We’re closed. The kitchen closes at 8:40 and we’re not serving anymore tonight.» No apologies nor invitation to return at a later date. Not a first impression that would bring us back.

If you want real Italian, this is the place to be. :) We always enjoy our meals here & the staff is super. If you need help pairing a wine with your meal, that’s not a problem for them. This is a family owned establishment & they support veterans. It’s a bunch of positives for me.

I have eaten here 3 times. The first time was a Monday night and it was really slow. The owner was very attentive and gave us a mini Italian wine lesson. My pork saltimboca was good, a little tough. The owner raved about the pastry chef, yet they did not have the first 2 items we requested. Have a separate daily dessert menu if you are not going to actually have all the items. The second time, I ordered truffle ravioli and it was covered with a very thick cheese sauce. Yes, there is such a thing as too much cheese. The third time, we went for a food and wine pairings meal. I was blinded but the extreme sun hitting me right in the eye for the better part of my meal and the food was actually bad this time. Again really thick cheese sauce on a crêpe that would have been good without anything other than a light sauce. Rubbery chicken with no browning on the exterior, and who makes a Caprese salad with sundried tomatoes, ever, but especially in August when fresh tomatoes are everywhere? The atmosphere is nice and the service is attentive but that does not make up for the poor food.

Excellent cup of coffee. The true art of coffee making is alive and well in Peachtree City. Lunch was superb with a delicate pumpkin soup to start and scrumptious lasagna for the main. Service is wonderful.

What a hidden gem! This is the best authentic Italian lunch I’ve had in awhile. Everything was reasonably priced, well made, and accompanied by great service. Best bolognese in the area, hands down. Will definitely be back.
