Walked over here for lunch and this place is so good! My group got mini sliders, tots, Downtown Dog and Scott Baiolu. All of us loved the food! Great selection of sides to add on top(avocado, caramelized onions, chipotle and Aioli sauce). A little pricey but worth it for the quality and portion of the food. Costumer services was good. Friendly staff who walked around checking on everything and patient when I was deciding what to order. I will be back to bring my boyfriend and try one of the craft beers with some cheesy tator tots :)

Dog Haus is a cool create your own hotdog restaurant located on Hill St. near PCC. The hotdogs are made with 100% beef and the ingredients are fresh daily. I ordered a create your own Veggie Dog with Garlic Aioli, Avocado, Onions, Tomatoes and Arugula. It was delicious! My sisters ordered The Cowboy. We also ordered Tater Tots and Coleslaw on the side. I have been here before with my boyfriend and the food was good too. It’s just the service that always seems to be the problem. Yesterday evening around 4:45 the young woman at the register had the biggest attitude with us and our order. No clue why, as we are paying customers. Other than that, the food was good.

So I would have given this place a 4 star review butt the food was so great that I just couldn’t do it. Dog haus is my go-to place to get a delicious vegetarian sausage. I used to love eating hot dogs back when I used to eat meat, but it was always hard finding vegetarian hot dogs ever since I went cold turkey on meat. Dog haus finally has the best vegetarian options for me! My favorite is def the apple wood and the Italian sausage. I don’t really like the vegetarian hot dog just because it tastes like the ones I buy at the market, so I suggest you get the veggie sausages! i always add on crispy fried onions, spicy basil aioli, sautéed mushrooms, mozzarella cheese & arugula on the side. Don’t get it inside the hot dog because the arugula will get soggy really fast. Dog haus is special because they use Hawaiian bread. The sweetness of the bread definitely compliments the sausage and everything on it. I always have to have a good ratio of everything on my fork as it enters into my mouth. YUMMMY! So back to why I was going to give this place 4 stars. Me and my boyfriend ordered one entrée for the each of us. I ordered the veggie sausage and my boyfriend ordered chili and the kids meal sliders that comes with tots and a drink. The bill was a bit expensive, but I didn’t think anything of it because I didn’t know the exact cost of everything. Well when we got our food, we somehow ended up with double the amount of food! They gave us an extra order of sliders and 3 extra order of tots! We were like, ummmm we didn’t order this much food. There’s only 2 of us, how could we eat all of this?! the lady who took our order had already left, but another worker apologized and said he would refund all the stuff we didn’t order. So I appreciated that and felt a sigh of relief.

Had the Grand Slam… Liked it a lot, it was just really hard to eat. My husband got the Cowboy Dog, which was excellent. The tater tots were the perfect ‘crispiness’ they just needed salt in our opinion. Loved the ranch dressing… Can’t wait to go back and try their corn dogs and shakes!

If, you like hotdogs, hamburgers and a great 80s soundtrack this is your place. Pastrami dog corn dogs, sliders and snapdogs are all great. The tater tots are cooked to crunchy perfection too. Offering the quintessential LA dog wrapped in bacon, and many others I choose plain. Enjoy! You will love it.

Welcome to the greasy/fatty/tasty bar lol. If you are looking for a place to watch your team playing on tv come here. Cool atmosphere. A lot of young people. The food is served almost immediately. It’s not always that crowed like most people say. Dogs are welcomed. The girl in the bar was very knowledgeable. She recommends you the perfect drink for you.

I never really liked hot dogs and was hoping this place would sway me. It was just OK. Doesn’t really have a lot of flavor but it did have good texture due to the toppings. I appreciated them trying to do something different by using Sweet Hawaiian Bread as a bun but it was not good enough to overcome how cheap Hot Dog Wieners are. Hot Dog Wieners are just mechanically separated leftover meat that nobody would eat unless it was molded in the shape of an appetizing looking sausage. Dog Haus just found a cute way to market these leftover meat products by using Hawaiian Bread and classing them up with various dressings and toppings. It’s not worth your time, money or sacrificing your health for. They have a higher profit margin due to the low-quality cost of using Hot Dog Meat as opposed to Beef Meat, so you’ll be taken advantage of by giving up your hard earned money to them. I would only eat this if it was free. 2-stars.

This is a fantastic Dog Haus location! Really enjoyed the service as well as the vibe of the place. I loved the thai chili dog as well as the sliders, the buttered hawaiian rolls are too good! Food comes out quickly, prices are fair, so are portions. Store is clean and well maintained, plenty of seating great location. Love their fries and tots, in fact everything I had was pretty darn good. Cooked perfectly, worth checking out if you haven’t yet!

So the hype of Dog Haus is true. This place brings the art of Hot Dogs to a whole other level. All hot dogs are served on Hawaiian rolls which really adds to the flavor with a bit of sweetness and texture. The toppings are what you would never think of when it comes to hot dogs. I ordered the Pig and the Fig and it was marvelous. Who would think sliced almonds on a hot dog would be good? Well these people did! I like texture and the almonds definitely added a light crunch to this dog. The fig-bacon-onion mix gives it a Euro feel with the emmentaler cheese. The use of wild arugula gives it a nice nutty flavor too. I’m truly excited to try the other dogs but I may stick with what I like.

I ordered the Old Town Dog with Pastrami Sausage. It was an interesting blend of ingredients. The sausage was wrapped in bacon with toppings of onions, jalapeños, and chipotle sauce. The staff were welcoming and courteous.

Delicious!!! This is no ordinary hot dog. Just one look at the menu and you know you’re in for a creative concoction of toppings, flavor, textures and meat. Some call this a «Designer Dog,» but I call it yummy goodness! Today I ordered the«Fig and a Pig» dog, with a side of onion rings. The meat had a wonderful snap quality to it, and the saltiness was wonderfully paired with fig jelly, slivered almonds for crunch, and arugula for freshness… all wrapped between 2 Hawaiian rolls. Yum! Don’t forget to order a side. The onion rings are on-point!!!

I’ve only tried this place once and enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to trying much more down the road when they open one in San Diego Ca. The service was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and roomy. The parking could be better especially during the launch hours. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The menu is large enough that there is something for everyone. My family who live in the area love the other store in Pasadena and the great food. Looking forward to returning. Enjoy.

I took a day-trip to Pasadena to hang with the BF, and when we were discussing lunch options, he suggested Dog Haus, saying that it was an «iconic» Pasadena eatery and, though not necessarily healthy, it was very delicious and was a winner if you’re in the mood for hot dogs. I was definitely down to try Dog Haus, which is known for their sausages. I actually had this place Bookmarked for a while, but I never spent much time in Pasadena so I didn’t try it previously. On the Friday that we went for lunch, there were people but it wasn’t exceptionally crowded. The inside was pretty full, so we snagged a seat on one of the outdoor tables, but after a little bit, the inside cleared out. Great spot to hit up with the whole family(but you’ll probably experience a food coma after). The menu offers a great assortment of tantalizing options, so I had a hard time picking. I really enjoyed the«Dog» I got and I already can’t wait for my next visit. Here’s what we ordered: «Cowboy»: There were several different«Haus Dogs» that sounded appealing to me, but this one won out simply because I was craving something with BBQ. It featured smoked bacon, white American cheese, crispy onions and BBQ sauce. They were really generous with that BBQ sauce and the dog itself was tasty, savory and juicy. I definitely felt my arteries clogging with every bite(in the best way possible). I loved the combo of the smoked bacon and white American cheese, and the crispy onion rings provided that delectable crunch and great texture that this dog needed to be a winner. «Grand Slam»: The BF got this dog because he loves anything with a fried egg on top. It featured smoked bacon, tater tots, maple syrup sriracha and that fried egg. While I really enjoyed my «Cowboy,» I think I want to get this one next time. The smashed tater tots in this dog really add to it, and I really liked the taste of the fried egg included in the dog as well. If I order this dog, I would get the maple syrup sriracha on the side(just because I’m not sure if I can handle the entire dog with that heat), but from the bite I had from my boyfriend’s dog, it provided a nice kick and a zest of flavor. «Chili Cheese Tots»: We ordered one regular dog and one meal so that we wouldn’t have to get those tots as a side. We opted for the«Chili Cheese Tots» and they were phenomenal! If you’re going with friends and sharing, I would suggest having one person get a meal so you can split the tots or fries. These tots came loaded with hausmade chili, cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese and green onions … except ours was customized because I don’t like green onions. I loved the fact that they didn’t skimp on the chili – all those tots were sufficiently covered with the house blend – and the shredded cheese was oozing and melty on top. Highly recommend this one! I’m sure the fries are just as good, but I actually like tater tots more than fries so this was a winner. «Motley Bleu 2.0»: This is one of the unique items on the burger menu, and I was really tempted to get it, but I figured that, on my first visit to DogHaus, I should actually get one of the dogs. However, this one is next up on my to-try list. This concoction features soy-racha onions, bleu sriracha, white American cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. I would order my burger sans the tomato, but I’m really curious to see what that bleu sriracha tastes like, since bleu cheese is my favorite type of cheese. «Bad Mutha Clucka»: I was chuckling when I read the name of this sausage, but it sounded great on paper. It featured chicken fontina sausage, sun-dried tomato aioli, basil and crispy onions. If I ever ordered this sausage, I would probably get it with the aioli on the side(just because I don’t really like tomatoes), but everything else that comprises this dog sounds like it would make for a great combo. I especially anticipate trying the basil and crispy onions that top the chicken fontina sausage. «Sweet Potato Fries»: I normally don’t like sweet potato … but sweet potato fries are definitely the exception. This version comes lightly dusted with the eatery’s haus blend of spices, and I can’t wait to try this side at some point.

I headed up to Dog Haus to have dinner before a movie at the park. Turns out the movie was cancelled due to the crazy rain, but that didn’t stop our stomachs. We ordered the little mule, a corndog, and some tots. The little mule hit the spot. The buns were a square of 4 King’s Hawaiian sweet rolls. I’ve been a fan of their sweet rolls all my life, so I loved it. There was egg, avocado, white American cheese, tomatillo sauce, and cilantro aioli. It was very good, but very heavy. The corndog was pretty good. The coating was on the softer side, but had good flavor. I prefer a harder shell like they have at Disneyland. The dog was fine too. I loved the tots the best. Golden brown and crisp on the outside. Next time I’ll get some sausages. Solid 4 stars.

The hot dogs here are crazy good! Kielbasa on a King’s Hawaiian roll? Mmm, yes please! I think I’ve found myself a new favorite. :) Stopped in with some friends to grab a quick bite, not really expecting much. Hot dogs sounded like a great idea(anything with protein) and the 1000+ Unilocal reviews definitely had us intrigued. They have a pretty extensive menu so there’s something for everyone. I like that they have a «Build Your Own» option too. One size most definitely does not fit all! Some of the sausages we ordered: The Pig Lebowski — My favorite! Delicious Polish kielbasa with a lot of flavor and a slight snap within that first bite. I liked the addition of their«haus fries» and the slaw. Not something I usually go for in a hot dog but with this combo, it works. I even enjoyed the BBQ sauce drizzled on top and no need for any ketchup. I love that they toast the Hawaiian buns so you have that buttery/toasty/sweet flavor with every bite. Now if I could only unhinge my jaw… The Pig and the Fig — This was different but still very good. The sausage was stuffed with emmentaler cheese(a type of Swiss cheese) so it was slightly oozing out per bite. The fig-bacon-onion relish gave you that sweet/savory punch combined with the wild arugula(slight bitterness), whole grain mustard aioli and sliced almonds. Mmm, almonds make everything taste so much better! If you like more sweet than savory, this one is for you. Another Night In Bangkok — They accidentally put the spicy currywurst for this hot dog in my «Lebowski» the second time I came to eat here. I think the staff got mixed up because my friend and I both had slaw on our dogs. Regardless, the sausage was pretty tasty despite the heat. I ended up returning the wrong order and asked the staff to remake my dog. I can’t handle the heat so I’m staying out of the kitchen. ;) The haus fries and tater tots are pretty good. I’d say the tater tots are slightly better than the fries. Hot, golden brown and crispy. Yum! Not a single cold or soggy tot to deal with, woohoo! Next time, I’ll have to remember to add cheese. Service was great! No attitude, hard-working and chill staff. I don’t know how they deal with the long lines, eek. Yeah, you better be putting a tip in that jar!
They have an open kitchen next to the tables, so you can watch the staff make your food as you sit and wait. They have low, wooden tables near the front and the taller tables towards the back. They also have patio seating in front of the store, if you prefer to be outside. The two old-school arcade games(towards the back) are a nice touch to the place.(Ms. Pac-Man is addicting!) There is also a restroom(co-ed) in the back, right by the exit. The parking lot is next to the back exit but it’s a small lot. Luckily, the streets are pretty wide and there is usually some spaces available in the area.

Bold and not over-the-top, Dog Haus knows flavor! They use King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls to enhance the flavors of all their delicious items. Very similar to their parent location, this Dog Haus packs the same wallop but in a smaller location. My only gripe might be with the motley bleu 2.0, which is salt city. It’s a little too much and needs something to contrast that heaviness.(Note to self: Chili Cheese Tots don’t help) Otherwise, this place is awesome! A touch above the grade.

I’m a firm believer that hawaiian rolls make everything taste better. So now we have the brilliance of Dog Haus — scrumptious, delicious hot dogs wrapped in buttery, toasted hawaiian rolls. GENIUS! Not only do they serve hot dogs, but they also have a variety of different sausages. all of which come with fantastic flavor combinations. You even have the option of building your own dog. What we ordered: Grand Slam hot dog add white american cheese — amazing! The ooey gooey cheese, the tater tots, the runny egg. It was fantastic. The Fonz — italian sausage with pastrami and melted mozarella cheese. Yum! Tater tots — crispy and piping hot. Dog Haus has a condiments bar filled with different sauces, ketchups, onions, relish, jalapeño peppers, etc.

Eats: Sooo Cali dog and chili cheese fries Takes: The sooo Cali dog is one of the«healthier» dogs(using healthy loosely here) with your avocado, wild arugula, tomato, fried onions, and spicy basil aioli sauce. Biting into this dog is not for the faint of heart. Warning, it will get messy. All the flavors were on point. I’d definitely come back for this. Gripes: Fries were very salty! At first, the Bestie and I thought it was the chili, which by the way has no beans in it; turns out that nope, the salt overload was coming from the fries themselves. It’s to the point that at every bite, you feel the crunch of the granules of salt. You’ll be reaching for your drink to wash all of that down throughout your meal. If anything, you also have the option of picking sweet potato fries or the tater tots(not sure if the latter is just as salty as the fries). Service: Very hospitable and attentive. Even though there was a long line, they were able to get the orders done and food prepared in a timely manner. Price: Reasonable. The sooo Cali dog, a bottled drink, and the chili cheese fries were a little over $ 10. Location: Next to Melt It! Parking: Street. Bottom line: Go here for your hot dog fix! Highly recommended.
