Great place. Very healthy food. My coworkers and I loved it. Great service and the food was ready quickly.

The stir-fry veggies are really tender and makes eating veggies a lot easier. I personally enjoy the beef teriyaki because it’s seems similar to Korean beef bulgolgi. Very delicious. I tend to get a bowl with noodles because I really enjoy the firmness of their noodles and they simplicity of their sauce is just right.

The reason for the one star review is that my wife, daughter, and I purchased a certificate for Teriyaki Madness from and it was not honored there. On January 3, 2016, after church, we were deciding on a place to have lunch and chose to try Teriyaki Madness due to the proximity, menu, and deal on . The place was practically empty. Only two other parties were eating. I informed the cashier(who turned out to be the newly promoted manager) that it was our first time there. We asked how the menu selection worked and she assisted us in understanding the ordering process. After selecting a couple plate specials and a kids meal, the cashier/manager rang us up. I told her I had a $ 10 off certificate from and she said unfortunately she could not accept the certificate because the Teriyaki Madness owner would not allow it. She said they stopped accepting certificates back in November 2015 and that the website was not supposed to be selling them anymore. But I had just purchased it about 10 minutes prior to walking into the establishment. She apologized and said the best she could offer was 20% off. But the price was still cheaper had we been allowed to utilize the coupon we had just purchased. We decided to leave and ate across the street at Zanku Chicken. I understand where she was coming from because she didn’t want to get in trouble. But from a managerial standpoint, it didn’t make sense to lose new costumers over a few dollars. This was obviously an issue between the owner and the website… not the customers. I just felt the better approach would have been to accept the coupon and inform the owner that he or she needs to contact about removing the deal online. The place was practically empty and the cook had already started to prepare our food. We ended up leaving and Teriyaki Madness lost our business.

Came here for a quick lunch and enjoyed it. I had there spicy teriyaki chicken bowl with no rice just veggies. Was very good, easy and very filling. Staff was small and location may get busy. If around the area and your craving teriyaki give this place a try.

Service was great! Cashiers recommended good choices, got something outside of my usual yakisoba noodles & ordered their two protein plate. I got their spicy chicken & beef teriyaki, with white rice & noodles. They compliment each other well & definitely made me full! My boyfriend got their spicy orange chicken with white rice & vegetables, & said«not many places make it well, but this spot is definitely a Go-to for Orange chicken» … & he’s the picky one! So thank you TMAD! Always a pleasure

Thank goodness they had their nutrition facts online! Wanted to check this place out with the bf and their reviews looked promising! Unfortunately, the time we went, the cashier was totally blah. Not as friendly as everyone has been writing but oh well. I ordered the yakisoba which came in a huge portion. Lots of veggies, but I feel that they totally skimped out on the meat. Honestly, it tasted chemical-y to me. All the veggies didn’t taste very fresh, and the yakisoba itself was pretty bland. I was expecting a better flavor. Bf ordered their spicy chicken plate, and he really enjoyed it. He wants it again! I’m definitely going to be giving it another chance, but will be trying something else off the menu.

The truth is that when I came with my wife and very close friend, we came to Teriyaki Madness and we didn’t expect the quality, the service and cleanliness in this place. The place was highly recomended by friends. The food really exceeded my expectations, I did not think that a fast food restaurant of Teriyaki could be so good and excellent. Rarely I give my recommendations, but this restaurant lives up its name, is Chicken Teriyaki at a higher level, is Teriyaki Madness.

Ugly food, disgusting, too salty and I cant finish it. Usually im the person that will finish food no mater what. But this time, I decided to throw them away. Not good. Im disapointed

Love that they have different flavors(spicy chicken!) and base options(noodles!). But in the end, it’s just any other rice-and-meat-in-a-bowl spot. And the rice itself was very poorly cooked. I figure that’s a pretty key ingredient to get right when you serve, you know, rice in a bowl. Also, why’s it so dark inside? Is this sexytime teriyaki or something? That’s just madness.

A straightforward, good teriyaki chain next to the Doghaus by Cal Tech. The serving sizes are good. The ambiance is a bit dark, but I liked it because on the day I went it was over a 100 degrees outside. Dark and cool are great. The spicy teriyaki anything is excellent. You know what you’re getting here: fast Japanese inspired food in a bowl. Highly recommended.

I am not sure if I had too high standards, but I really was craving some local Hawaii/Japanese cuisine with this place. Teriyaki chicken and Chicken Katsu being a staple food in my diet back home, I was not very impressed. The flavoring was just okay, and the sauce was kind of one dimensional(seemed like it used just Sriracha sauce for the spicy Teri chicken and Yakisoba noodles). I feel that is is similar to a Japanese Panda Express. Not really good food, but gets the job done if you are craving a certain dish.

Good teriyaki! Service was good too! Was my first time at Teriyaki Madness, purchased a voucher because — well — who doesn’t like a deal or teriyaki? It’s a win-win in my book! It’s is fast-food but doesn’t taste like it. The menu sits on the wall. Head up to the counter and order a bowl or plate of: spicy chicken, regular chicken, orange chicken, beef teriyaki, and/or tofu. Add rice or noodles — veggies or not. Wait for your order to be freshly prepared and enjoy! If you’re looking for appetizers — they have those too. Crab Rangoon, potstickers, and egg rolls. The meat is plentiful, and really liked the«al-dente» cook on the veggies. Most teriyaki joints cook veggies until they’re mush — not this place! I’d definitely head in again! #Pasadena #TeriyakiMadness

Food Ordered: two proteins, spicy chicken and teriyaki beef with rice and a side salad. Firstly, I am extremely sensitive to MSG which is commonly seen in product such as soy sauce. I usually get hit by an unquenching thirst, however, the food cooked here did not completely kill me with cotton mouth(must be their cooking methods). I’m starting to wonder how much salt other places throw into their food. Also, most teriyaki bowl places have extremely dry chicken, however, spicy chicken I ordered was extremely juicy! They also offer low-carb options for all you paleo eaters, however, I love carbs and got an order of the Crab Rangoon appetizer, delish! Fountain drinks are Pepsi brand drinks, however, there are cola products such as rockstar available. Atmosphere CLEAN! I’m really surprised how clean this place is, it’s like everything(I mean everything) is polished and waxed. During the time of my visit, the owner(Josh) was having all sorts of customers sign their signature, draw, etc onto a laminated logo which,(as I was told) will be displayed in the store. It’s not too often you get to see restaurants reach out for customer involvement with the interior store decorations. Staff I’m going to talk about Josh(the owner). During my dining time at Teriyaki Madness, I saw many people come and go. However, Josh puts out that effort to get to talk to people and really get to know his customers. It’s not too often you see customer-owner interactions(this is what really compelled me to write a Unilocal review). Overall, if you want great food and want to eat at a place and genuinely feel welcomed, teriyaki madness is a dope spot.
