I’ve been coming here for years. Probably the dopest dog haus around. Their biergarden is just awesome. I usually come here for HH. They usually have 3 like beers for 4 bucks of different varieties ranging from a hef, pilsner, to amber/ipa. they have pbr specials as well. I never actually ordered any of their hot dogs or burgers. but their sliders are to die for. for HH its only a buck. I usually eat around 4 – 6 depending on my mood. tots are superb as well. I think they do have a full bar as well as board games towards the back. One of the best place for football as its hh all day sundays. they also have late night hh 10– close sun to thurs. Cheers

I love this place! Definitely my go to for a quick meal in Pasadena, now that we’ve discovered it. The ambience is not the most romantic. It is super casual. They even have various board games to play. The hot dogs are to die for. My favorite part is that when they say spicy, it’s actually spicy.

Burgers are sooo good… I have yet to try the hot dogs, which I heard are also good. But definitely recommend this place when in the area!

Their food was good but little too big for my mouth. I love the idea of using Hawaiian bread as a hotdog burn and burger burn. I had sooo cali and friedburger. Both of them were tasty and it’s perfect for beer snack!

Went here with a group of friends yesterday(Saturday) in the evening. I ordered The Hangover burger and The Love Boat(Fries with chili and coleslaw). The food came out about 10 minutes after I ordered it. The bread that they used for the burger and the egg that they put in it made it one of the best that I’ve ever had. As for The Love Boat, it came with just right amount of chili and coleslaw. Both were absolutely delicious and very satisfying, definitely worth the money. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive. The venue itself was really nice. Fun, upbeat, and surprisingly spacious(both the outdoor and indoor area, which makes this place perfect for bringing your friends). The outdoor area’s very clean and has these nice little heat lamps hanging above, which were really nice to have because of the colder weather that Pasadena was having that night. So yeah, if you’re out in Pasadena(whether you’re by yourself or with friends) and want to eat a really good burger and fries, then I HIGHLY recommend going here.

Finally got to try this place after salivating over pictures for months. I definitely felt a little guilty eating all this deliciousness after swearing to myself that I’d eat cleaner and healthier(2016NY resolution) BUT it was so worth every bite. I went overboard and let my hunger order, so I obviously had too much food, but everything was still delicious warmed up for dins later. I had the pig & the fig, which was smothered in a fig relish and some kind of aioli with sliced almonds. Delicious. All the flavors were super decadent and the hawaiian bun was perfection. I also ordered the chili cheese tots, and I think this was what I felt the most guilty eating. Crisp tots smothered in a white processed cheese sauce and meaty chili. The whole thing wasn’t overly salty, which I appreciate, and it really was the cheese that was mind-blowing. The addicting mouth-feel from all the fat made it really pleasant to(keep) eating(and never, ever stop). Fortunately, I had enough self control to eat half of each item and took the rest home. I know my friend had an equally joyous time with her food. She really liked the sooo cali and her plain tots. After eating here, I definitely had to run an extra mile or two, but it’s so worth it.

Considering I am a vegetarian, I am really glad a Dog Haus offers veggie options. The guy who took our order was super friendly and helpful as well. THe staff overall was attentive and exhibited great customer service. I ordered a build your own with veggie italian sausage, my boyfriend got Pig in a whistle. My only complaint… too much honey mustard. I have never had so much honey mustard drenched on anything in my life. My sinuses are clear and will be now for the rest of my life. It made it extremely hard to enjoy and even taste the other flavors. I would rate 3 stars but considering the service I am giving it 4.

I did the build your own dog, with the veggie dog and free add ons: lettuce, tomato, and curry ketchup. Sat outside on the long benches. Don’t go here late night on weekends(went around 11), it may be nicer for lunches. At night it seems like a place for late night drunk groups/partiers/students to congregate and talk loudly, which is probably aided by the alcohol they serve here. Which is fine if you’re part of those groups, but it becomes tacky/annoying if you just went to check it out alone. I get that it’s supposed to be dive-bar ish but I thought I could go there for dinner so I didn’t expect it to be THAT dive-y. The veggie sausage didn’t taste very good. It tasted like a soft, boiled hot dog. Too bland and gummy. I usually like my sausages a little fried/broiled/grilled and toasty… without, it tastes too spammy and processed. For some reason it also tasted like normal meat. They either got it confused or their veggie dogs are very realistic. But still too spammy and gummy. The curry ketchup wasn’t that special, looked like normal ketchup, with a really faint dash of curry powder. Either way, not very satisfying both food and experience wise. I’d go here again just to try something different, though. Maybe veggie dog was just a bad pick.

I am only giving 2 stars to this place ONLY because of the terrible service I had at the bar one night. The servers, ambiance, food = AMAZING, PHENOMENAL, DELICIOUS. No questioning there. Happy hours here are great too. This female bartender inside was being extremely rude to my friends and I when we went up to order. Looked like she didn’t even want to be there. We were a party of 5, ready to order some beers/food, and she was just standing there… on her phone, texting… for at least 5 minutes. When she finally came up to take our order, she had this negative attitude towards us. My friends asked her for suggestions she may have for drinks, and she just one word answered us, seemed like she wanted us out of her way. And it wasn’t even busy. Honestly, if a bartender/server is kind to me, that’s all that really matters; making someone feel welcomed in an establishment. She was even being rude to her coworkers. in front of customers. I don’t get it. People can hear you. Be professional. Be polite at the least. If you spot an employee at the bar with grey hair and a resting b*tch face, be prepared for terrible service.

Who knew hot dogs could be so good? I heard that this place was good and I think it definitely lives up to the hype. Parking– you’re in downtown Pasadena area so either it’s street parking or garage parking. I’m not sure if they have a private lot(I parked at a garage and visited another shop before coming here). It’s actually pretty spacious. I thought it was only outdoor seating but there’s downstairs seating and bar seating inside. The outdoor seating has heaters above so you don’t freeze outside. and tvs that show the in season games. and there’s plenty of outdoor seating too. so it’s good for big groups! you literally order right at the door so you’ll be standing in the outdoor seating area while you wait to order. Don’t forget to look at the happy hour menu on the wall right next to the register! happy hour deals(I totally forgot to take a picture of the boards and can’t remember the happy hour times and a sample of the drinks that they offered it on) but they do have $ 1 sliders and $ 1 fries(you technically save less than $ 1 on both items but $ 1 for food. that’s how they get you!) I got the«downtown dog» and was it good. it was a little bit on the saltier side but that’s bc of the sausage and bacon. but the caramelized onions and red peppers go so well with it! and the sliders are so good! my friend got the Scott baioli, which he thought was good, but I thought it was okay. I thought it was a bit plain on the toppings, but it’s because I compared it to what I got.

Was driving around with my peeps trying to find a place open on Christmas Eve, and this happened to be one of the only places open!!! I entered at about 11AM and ordered the sooo cali dog and the love boat tater tots. Sooooooo impressed with this place!!! It was so affordable for what it appeared to be! The hot dogs were impressively and beautifully dressed up and the bread was so crispy and soft at the same time. and THOSETOTS! I’m a HUGE fan of molten cheese. The food portions are a bit small, but for the price it’s really worth it. Based on the hip-ness of the place, I expected something very overpriced. So I’m just so blown away by how FAIR the prices were! This is a WOULDRETURN place for me! I love hipster décor and their fancy creative foods but not their usual prices. Also the line was out the door by the time I left!

We’ve been frequenting this location for some time, due to the sheer convenience and decent selection of game day food. I’m not an NFL /NBA person, but I flip my lid for futbol. They really know how do do it up during World Cup. They’ll open early for matches and have great specials. On top of that, when other bars in Old Town are too loud and crowded, Dog Haus usually will have a few empty seats and a couple of quiet corners. FWIW, the tots are always a good choice.

Just a couple blocks west of the Pasadena convention center with some serious dogs. Got myself the downtown and little leaguer which were both good. The little leaguer was a chili cheese dog with fritos, and the downtown their version of a danger dog with all the fixins. Nice outdoor area to sit as well as a good amount inside as well.

When you forget that you’ve been to a restaurant and spot it on Unilocal, see that it has great reviews, go there again, round the corner, realize you’ve been there before, accidentally say«I’m such an idiot» out loud, and then make best friends with the person in front of you. That is this place. True story. I completely forgot I had been here before… A year ago? Two? I forget. It was due to Unilocal, and I made friends that night too. It’s amazing. Great food, great staff, great outdoor seating(my only complaint. Could they add more? There’s more space in the area for tables, and a fate that opens into a huge space, but they might be up against permits, noise concerns, etc?). Just, amazing. I feel like the other million reviews have covered the food here, but to throw in my 2 cents, this past trip I had the Sooo Cali dog, Holy Aoili Burger, and cheese tots. My eyes were wayyy bigger than my stomach. Everything was so good. Sooo Cali had a kick to it! «Buns» are actually Hawaiian sweet rolls, which are perfection. I’ll be back, but this time, I’ll definitely remember!

Great place to have some higher-end hot dogs with no so high prices. This place has Nice outdoor and indoor seating with TV sets to watch games on. Plus, who wouldn’t already smile after seeing the entrance to this place–«The Absolute Wurst»(even though I think they are the absolute best!). Came on a Sunday in which there is all-day Happy Hour– mostly cheap drinks but also $ 1 sliders and regular fries. We tried a couple of their Specialty sausage hot dogs in sweet Hawaiian bread(about $ 7 each). «Another Night in Bangkok» had a nice spicy Thai flair which was delicious. The«Pig Lebowski» which had BBQ sauce and fried inside was probably my favorite– very flavorful overall. My least favorite of the three we tried was the«Sooo Cali» which had aioli sauce and crispy onions– just nothing too special. Would recommend coming here! I will be back for sure.

Love the different spin on DOg Haus with the nice outdoor seating and alcohol served, makes for an entirely different dining experience then other locations. Service was nice and our food as always great. Love their tots as well as onion rings and using Kings Hawaiian as buns is perfect, love how they butter and grill them first. Food comes out quickly, quality and portion size great for the price. Clean and well kept, this is a great stop while in the area, I’ll be back!

Get ready for the absolute«würst» hot dogs your’re going to have. Yep, just one of the weenie puns that they make here at the Dog Haus. Just one of these monster hot dogs is enough. It’s only idiots like me that get two of them *and* a liter of beer because eyes are bigger than belly. Yeah, I left some of both hot dogs behind and I also abandoned a good amount of this tasty brew. Dog haus is about creatively topped hot dogs and burgers plus a nice selection of local and macro draft beers. I opted for the«Soooo Cali» which comes topped with arugula, crispy onions, avocado and tomato plus a spicy aioli. And because that wasn’t enough when I placed my order, I also chose the«Cowboy» which is topped with bacon and cheese and onions and BBQ sauce. Both were excellent and very tasty. Lots of toppings, good flavor, excellent bun. These are messy to eat but there are napkins so you’ll be fine. The beer was similarly excellent. It was a super hot day — they could use some fans outside!

Happy hour review. The food selection is very limited but I think they have the best sliders and fries deals compared to happy hours I have been to. And it’s all day on Sunday! $ 1 per slider $ 1 for whole basket of fries! Their regular menu is pretty cheap as well. $ 4 beer and well drinks. And they also have a free wifi! I saw some people doing work on their laptop because it’s pretty quiet/empty during the day time Parking: there’s a 90 min free parking structures nearby and a few metered street parking as well.

What’s not to love about glorious hot dogs, sausages, sliders and TATERTOTS? This place is money baby, pure money baby. I got the Scott Baioli hot dog which was smothered with american cheese, sauteed onions, bacon and a dijon/mayo sauce. The bun was probably what made it ten times better — it was fresh and toasted perfectly. I also got a side of cheeeeeeeeeesy tots(see pic) and was going to bring them with me to-go as a snack during work but let’s be real… that didn’t happen. I definitely want to get back in there for a happy hour — have been reading good things! All in all — if you’re craving some good ol’ fashion dogs and tots this is the place to be.

Been on kind of a(vegan) wurst bender, and this was the next stop. I have seen the new location in Burbank, but upon Unilocaling saw«biergarten» and never looked back! It sits in an alley, and you walk through a front patio, into the ordering counter. Every thing is straight forward, or you can build your own. This place is ultra customizable. tons of vegan options, and toppings to mix and match. The beer selection is really good, and many revolving taps many of them are seasonal, and rotate often. Outdoor seating, and plenty of indoor seating makes a fun day.
