Just wanted to write an additional review for the Palmdale location! Fresh fresh fresh food ! I love the chipotle chicken pita sandwich and everything is made from scratch! Amazing place for the AV!

This is a nice family operation with great tasting food. I found all the ingredients to be high quality. The Pizza was good but the stars were the sandwiches, the garlic beef and the cheesesteak were awesome. For the prices I was pleasantly surprised by the superior beef used. Combined with the homemade bread and great topping options they were the best. They make a lot of the sauces, breads, salads and desserts in house. The potato dill salad made with fresh herbs was lightly dressed and fresh. It is so refreshing to find salads that don’t come out of a Servco Ten gallon tub. This little sandwich shop is doing actual proper cooking not just slapping bought ingredients on bought bread. The Red Velvet Cake was spot on moist with a proper cream cheese frosting that was balanced with that great hint of sour. Great work, my compliments to the baker. The baked goods here are more than a mouthful of sugar. Same way with the carrot cake, it was super rich, not super sweet. My only quibble is a need for a rye bread option for the otherwise delicious Ruben, the thousand island dressing tasted homemade: wow who goes to that trouble anymore. The staff here were hustling like crazy to make people happy and were clearly proud of their food. This type of local place putting out great food at very fair prices is too rare here in the AV. I look forward to returning

We have been 3 times. First time was great, second ok, today was a disappointment. Counter up front wreaked of cigarettes? Sandwich of the day was mostly fat. No paper towels in the bathroom. $ 25 for lunch, too much.

Yum! Great, soft bread. Very Tasty. I tried the chipotle chicken on white bread. They also have really good jalapeño hot sauce.

Great local sandwich and pizza shop among too many nearby chains. The service is friendly and fast. I loved the white prosciutto and arugula pizza and lemon cookies I had. They even have zapp’s voodoo chips which is a bonus in my book!

Had a hot, garlic beef sandwich. It was so delicious that I knew immediately I’d go back. The wheat bread, baked on the premises, was sweet with a mild nutty flavor. It was warm and soft and the perfect place for the lean, delicious beef with carmelized onions. I got the«Pick 2» which allowed me to pick half a sandwich and a side — more than enough for one person and less than $ 10. I had the delicious humus served with some pieces of warm bread. Staff was friendly, food was served quickly, and the portions were generous. My only disappointment was the chocolate chip, coconut, macadamia cookie. The flavor was right on, but it was really hard and crunchy. However, I will definitely go back and try something different.

We’ve been twice. 1st time was sandwiches — both turkey pesto and Chicken chipotle were excellent LOVE that the bread is made on-site-, fresh– and not cheap ingredients. Also love the whole wheat option. 2nd time — pizza. I had the chicken pesto pizza– yum! My friend had a sausage and mushroom. We ordered take-home salads — turkey bacon and the southwest chicken. The atmosphere is nothing to brag about — but it’s clean and food comes out in a reasonable time. Definitely nice salads and sandwiches.

First time here the other day. Walked in, a very nice lady greeted me(she was serving food to a table). I wouldn’t normally Unilocal this place but I had to because of a rude employee. I think he’s the manager. Bald, standing behind the kitchen window. He seemed like he was in a bad mood, but he shouldn’t take it out on clients. I wonder if that’s how he talks to his staff? There’s nicer staff in this place, make one of them the new manager and make your place successful. Customer service makes the business, then the food.

Looking forward to my next visit!!! The staff was so nice! The food was great and the place was very clean. My daughter and I shared the chicken artichoke pizza and the white chocolate coconut macadamia cookie. We were so pleased. If u haven’t been here I would definitely go!!! Quality food made from scratch!

Let me start off by saying the food is delicious, had The Italian meat lovers pizza and the wife ordered the turkey artichoke pesto sandwich. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five stars is they don’t offer Wi-Fi for their customers

First time here, like the atmosphere, nice décor, simple little place. Friendly counter guy. Good menu. We had the veggie pizza and chicken mushroom sandwich. Both had excellent flavor, fresh well-balanced ingredients, quality food. My grilled veggie pizza was amazingly delicious. Great food at low prices, you can’t beat that combo. Has the feel of a cool little deli, definitely will come back to explore the rest of the menu.

I’ve been wanting to try upper crust in Lancaster for a long time. But let me be honest– I live in Palmdale and I am way too lazy to make that trek! Thankfully they opened one in Palmdale right by my house! I ordered the turkey artichoke pesto sandwich on wheat. It had cheese and spinach too which really made it come together tastefully. I’m a fan! The guy working the counter was very nice and I only waited maybe 5 min for my to-go order. I love supporting local businesses but especially when they’re friendly and have tasty food. I’ll be back here often!

The pizza is so good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love coming here during my lunch break. It doesn’t take very long for my food to be ready either. This is definitely a place to come back to.

Ordered the pizza under favorites. It had a white sauce, prosciutto and arugula. My order didn’t take very long for it to be ready. Presentation was great. Looked fresh and smelled delicious. I ripped into it and pulled of the most cheesiest yummiest looking piece. First bite was great. The prosciutto was the perfect amount of saltiness that I was craving and the arugula really gave it the herby yumminess to balance it all out. Will definitely be stopping by again to try other things. Thanks for a great lunch break!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this spot. The sandwiches are amazing,(I highly recommend the Turkey Artichoke Pesto on wheat) everything is fresh and made to order, they have fantastic number of sides to choose from, they’re menu has a great selection, and cheesecake(enough said!). The staff is super friendly and helpful, gave us some great recommendations, and overall warm and inviting. The price/cost is about average for the area and we were able to feed our family of 4 for about $ 36. Overall would highly recommend!

Food was tasty, but horribly expensive. Half sandwich, bag of chips, and a regular drink almost $ 13! Not again.

So happy to have this new location of Upper Crust as it is close to my office. I think the word needs to get out as the place was empty at prime lunch rush time on a weekday. Kind of pricey($ 20 for one salad, one sandwich, and an iced tea) but I am still happy to have the new option. Oh and hopefully they pick up the pace because even though so far food came out faster than the Lancaster location the folks who will be frequenting this restaurant will have short lunch breaks.
