I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Bliss Salon for 3 years. Before coming to Bliss I dreaded getting my hair colored because my scalp would sting and itch for at least a day. Bliss Salon products are all natural and ammonia free. With that said my scalp has still reacted sensitively to some products. Each time I had difficulty with a product Dawn took the time to find another product that worked well for me. After awhile my scalp would react again and again Dawn found a solution for me. I’m so thankful to not have to go from salon to salon finding a product for me and that I have a Color Specialist that really knows her stuff.

Heather cut and styled my hair today and I couldn’t be happier. Very friendly and professional staff in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend Heather, she did an amazing job on my hair!

We were visiting Palm Desert area for the winter, and I was looking for someone to cut/​color my hair. I went on Unilocal and found Bliss had great reviews, so I decided to call and make an appointment with Dawn. She called me back and was very friendly, but told me she was booked out for weeks, but Heather could do my hair. I made the appointment and went in to meet Heather. She’s just a young gal, but very outgoing and had great ideas for my hair. She took her time and the cut/​color turned out wonderful. I am returning to the desert from Fort Collins, CO to see my friends Dawn and Keith for special hair care and lively conversation. For 3 years now, I look forward to weekly visits at Bliss while we escape the snow & sunshine and leave with a smile and chocolate after my pampering appointment!

Dawn was able to get my super stressed tresses back to beautiful. After playing with the color wheel my hair was fried and Dawn had my hair back in no time at all. Beautiful cut and color! Keith’s scalp massage and shampoo is delish! Thank you both! I’m a client for life!

Dawn is a freaking hair magician! She is incredibly talented, friendly and professional. The last few years I’ve had several reallllllly bad cuts and even worse highlights at a couple super posh salons in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica and Dawn fixed everything. Never in a million years would I have guessed it would take moving to the desert to find my girl! I look like me again… Yay!!!

I drive here from LA every four weeks to get my hair done by Dawn. I constantly receive compliments on my hair color and she is a master at achieving the perfect blonde for me! This is an intimate salon which is run by Dawn and her husband, Keith. They provide excellent customer service in a relaxed environment. Well worth the drive from LA and I highly recommend!

I had an appointment with Cheryl (my facialist who is right next door to Bliss) and she told me about Dawn (Bliss Hair family owned business). Long story short, my hair was a mess from some color mistakes after my regular hairdresser left town. Dawn corrected my color and made it just the way I love it. She cut and colored my hair perfectly. Dawn is wonderful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in her profession. I highly recommend her! Also, Dawn recommended hair products for my curly-​frizzy hair and they really work well.

Dawn is awesome. She is an expert colorist and hairstylist. Keith, her hubby, gives an awesome wash. I am so glad I found her. She’s gone out of her way for me several times to accommodate my changing schedule. LOVE HER!

CONFESSION: I had done my own color for years, but when I let it go ‘natural’ and then decided to go back to color I failed to consider that my now VIRGIN (yes, you can be a virgin again!-) hair would grab the color in new and crazy ways! Enter Dawn. By the time I left her salon I had gone from horrible color, horrible cut back to ME! Miracles do happen, and Dawn, don’t EVER go away!

I just moved to the desert in October and needed to find a new hair salon. I read the reviews and decided to give Bliss a try. So glad I did! Dawn and Keith are awesome. Best haircut EVER. I have super long hair and have a fear of someone chopping it all off. I was in great hands with Dawn. Perfect long layers and side swept bangs. Next I will bring my daughter in for color. Best cut and color in SoCal. I drive 200 miles round trip to see Dawn and Keith and I walk out feeling happy and beautiful every time. I’ve made the mistake of trying other salons nearby only to have to have Dawn fix the horror. Dawn is simply the best at what she does. I’ve been a happy customer for 10 years.

I really love Dawn… she is great and does awesome work. But not only that, she is super sweet and fun to be around. The energy in her place is so uplifting. If your having a blah day… Dawn always brightens things up.

I had my hair done yesterday. I actually had it corrected because I used the wrong color on my hair. Dawn did a wonderful job. I will definitely go back. I loved Dawn gave me samples to try. I think Keith should have just wash your hair business because he gives an awesome shampoo. I hear try getting one of his deep conditioner services.

Dawn and Keith, the owners of Biliss, run a truly outstanding salon. I have fine hair which I have had highlighted and cut in chic salons in Boston, Philly, Vancouver, Seattle, San Diego, etc. Still, I’ve always hated my baby fine hair and feel like there’s nothing to be done with it. Dawn loves fine hair. She actually makes me love my hair. Nuff said? Dawn works small miracles with the cut, and the color is seriously the best I’ve had anywhere. Keith gives heavenly shampoos. Best part is that they are such good solid people that it is seriously a pleasure to support them with your business.
Keith and Dawn maintain a huge following from Idyllwild, 1.5 hours away, where they used to run another salon. People make the pilgrimage regularly down the hill to Palm Desert to continue to see them. If you see great hair on the mountain, I guarantee Bliss did it. (I know because I’ve asked several people.) The chamber of commerce should endorse them. They make the town full of nicely coiffed individuals that make Idyllwild (& now Palm Desert) even easier on the eyes. I only hesitate a smidge to write a glowing review because I’m afraid I’ll lose my ability to get appointments to you people reading this!
