Mya’s the best. Tried other stylists when I moved to the desert to no avail. Another hairdresser recommended her. Great find. She has corrected the color of my hair, reshaped the cut so when I do it myself, every hair falls into place. How cool is that.
AND she is so friendly. Her new salon looks great and you feel like dancing when you walk out.

I finally found a stylist in the Desert I can depend on, coming her from NYC it’s been tough finding favorites and Mya has become my go to girl when I’m out here.
I truly trust her opinion because she done me justice repeatedly, she is not shy to tell you that a curtain cut will not work for you do to your hair pattern or the shape of your head.
In addtion, Last week I bunped into her on El Paseo on my way to a wedding reception and she literally dragged me into her shop to clean me up because «my reputation is on the line» (meaning her own lol) when I tried to at least pay her she rushed me out the door, all this on her luck break. This promoted me to take the time to give her this review out of my busy schedule.
I love people who are «real» and have good taste this is why I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
But fair warning her appointment book gets booked quickly so try to book in advance.

It is such a pleasure to go to this salon. It’s an experience not just a hair cut. Mya is a professional with you and her salon. Everything in this shop is light and white. The floors, the surroundings, the noise factor are all impeccable. The entire atmosphere is soothing! You walk in and then walk out feeling refreshed and renewed. Mya is always warm and inviting as well as a fabulous stylist. From the moment you walk in, you know the price and the time frame in which she can perform her magic on your hair. Or get an incredible facial from her sister. This salon has been needed in the valley for a long time and with Mya’s talent, it will be around for a long time.

WOW! Just went to Mya for the first time on a referral from a friend. My hair is short and I like that way. I thought I like my color just fine. Boy was I wrong. After some consultation Mya did her magic. She cut my hair with a deft hand. I can honestly say the color has never looked better and the cut is perfect. Thank you Mya! I’ll see you soon.

I can’t say enough positive things about Mya! I have been going to her for years and she is the only stylist out here that REALLY knows how to cut and color hair. She has an artistic eye and tailors each person’s hair to their individual look and their hair type… it’s not «One Size Fits All,» which is what I have found so many other stylists do.
Her new salon is very beautiful, intimate and comfortable. It is a PLEASURE to go there and she is a DELIGHT to work with!!!

All these years looking for a good haircut and not getting one had me give up on it.
A haircut meant to look awful for two weeks before my hair would grow enough to look half descent.
Then I ran across Myas’ Salon and now I don’t have to wait for two weeks anymore, my haircut looks good from the time I get it to the next.
