Do not go here unless you enjoy horrible service and below par food. When we first arrived we were seated at a table outsides of the bar and when our waiter first approached us he was friendly and seemed like a good waiter. But after he took our drink orders he disappeared for about 10 minutes. He finally came back with our drinks and informed us that the complimentary bread would be a 15 minute wait. He took our order than again disappeared. He showed up about 30 minutes later with the«bread» we waited so long for and it was the smallest pieces of bread I have ever seen served. After a long wait for there only being about 3 other tables with customers we finally received our food. The food was to say the least below par the pasta primavera had no white sauce as promised, the chicken fried chicken was okay but the gravy tasted like it was from a store bought packet. When we asked to get more bread we again were informed it would be another 15 minute wait, for some reason they don’t seem to make enough bread for the few costumers they have. Our waiter than disappeared and we could not find him anywhere. Tip make sure you bring your own water cause for some reason it’s a rarity there, no one refilled our waters the whole time we were there. a waitress walked by several times with a water container looked at all our empty water containers and kept walking without filling any of the other tables with empty water glasses. There seemed to be no manager and the waiting staff would completely disappear for large amounts of time. We looked around at one point and realized there was no waiting staff anywhere in the restaurant. The music in the bar was so loud even though we were in the farther part of the restaurant, it made the atmosphere unenjoyable and hard to talk to our family. We finally found our waiter and got our check after a long wait, since he again was no where to be seen. We also never received the refill of bread we asked for. Overall it was terrible. The food was not worth the service as it was just as inadequate and extremely overpriced.

I am writing this review after our most recent visit after church on Sunday. We had only been one other time a year earlier at Thanksgiving and felt like for a small town it was a pretty good buffet with alot of options. However, this was NOT the case this past week when we arrived right after church. The restaurant was not real crowded and yet we had to wait out front for about 5 minutes before anyone ever showed up to seat us. After being seated and our drink order taken by a gentlemen — we never saw him again and were never asked if we could have our water or tea refilled or have coffee with our meal — we had to ask the hostess to please find our waiter for our bill and she then came back and asked us if we knew who our server was and after some time the original server came back and said that another waiter was supposed to have been waiting on us but he guessed that it didn’t ever happen as he asked him to bring us our bill and he didn’t even know we were his table. Aside from that — the food was horrible and very sparse. I read so many reviews about the great variety and good food and for $ 18/pp to not have a full hot buffet with a variety of items available is not acceptable on Sunday. We arrived and the hot food entrée was empty and only rice available, the salad greens and toppings were depleted, there was one shrimp left on the plate, they were out of the roast beef and they had one guy that was making omelettes. Despite mentioned several times that they were out of 99% of most items they didn’t replenish them for quite awhile and some things they never replenished. They didn’t have any rolls, or potatoes to go with the roast beef once it was replenished and the desserts were non existent — unless you consider monkey bread a dessert and they seemed to replenish the cheese, crackers and carrots instead of the hot entrees. We will NOT return as we could have eaten at Alley House and paid a little more for an enjoyable dining experience. There didn’t seem to be any type of manager on duty as the staff seemed very unorganized and certainly not keeping an eye on the buffet and offering a hot, variety of entrees, items… very disappointed. There was no seafood, no soup, no rolls, no hot veggies, no desserts, yet so many of the reviews that raved about how awesome the buffet was talk about having a great variety of food. The buffet was at best a $ 7.99 value with what they offered.

Awesome stuff people! We came in from Durango tonight and needed some decent food before partying. Kinda caught us by surprise, but in the eat way. Dana the GM was super friendly and helpful. Our server Thomas may have been relatively new to the service industry but did a stand up job to say the least, very polite and responsive to our dining style. Will definitely recommend and return!
