Decent garlic beef. The menu has it marked with a chili which I thought meant spicy. I ordered it extra spicy as is my norm and was very dissapointed with the lack of kick. I asked for some dried chili’s on the side and the waiter brought me chili paste. Still no joy. If this is what is considered spicy in Kansas, I must get back down below the Mason Dixon line. You guys are wussies! Vegetables, beef and water chestnuts were prepared very well, but the heat was unusually absentee…

I love this place despite the fact it looks like an abandoned building. there’s never many cars and my family and I think it’s a front for something, but who cares bc they have the best green beans and general tso’s chicken. Best. no kidding.

Good food and good service. The server is very jovial and he gives a lot of free stuff to eat. Today he gave us free soup at the beginning of the meal and cold pineapple chunks for dessert! Last time we had been there we got free Chinese donuts for dessert. Food is good too, although it could be a bit less oily. Worth a try.

I’m what I can only surmise is a gross miscomprehension of ratings guidelines, I am astonished at this place’s current rating. Just for clarification purposes, five star good, one star bad. Is it really confusing? I just had the sweet and sour chicken much combo and had to admit that I’ve tasted worse. I just can’t remember when. When I state I didn’t like it, I mean I would take the literal poke in the eye before being subjected to this flavorless, boring apparition of Chinese food. I don’t know if this place is one of those MSG free places, but someone should send them some of it. The fried rice was bland to the point of being indistinguishable from packing material. The sweet was represented by a lone pineapple who was probably captured and sacrificed in its way to the trash heap. The sour was dutifully supplied by my face as I tasted this meal. Send this over to our friends in Guantánamo. Anything less would be simply un-American.

I had seen it driving by, and had hoped it would be another one of those diamonds-in-the-rough. Well, I got the«rough» part right. Only one car in the parking lot. A flash of lightning and a crack of thunder would have completed the warning. Since it was 3 pm on a Sunday, I thought maybe it was the time.(It wasn’t) This converted Burger King was as empty as a campaign promise. No front-of-house greeter, no servers, nothing. I did hear talking in the kitchen. I was starting to assume I had walked in on an unlocked-but-closed place, when a young greeter walked out. Fast-forward a few minutes. Prices looked reasonable so I ordered the General Tso lunch combo. Within a minute, some egg-drop soup and crunchy noodles were out. It was hot and good. After another 10 minutes, the main course came out. The chicken came with a scoop of white rice and a small eggroll. This is where things fell apart. The chicken and sauce had all the subtlety of a crowbar, with the tenderness of the thug who wielded it. Sugary-sweet, with some sour, with over-fried, dried up chicken jerky. I should have heeded the warning as I came in. One or two people came in for a short time(did they flee?), and the drive-through had a bit of business. I stayed there quite some time, getting work done on my laptop, but that was the only thing keeping me there.

Just say yes to this place! Okay so it looks sketchy from the road and it took us a year to try it but now we’re hooked. Our favorite is the sesame chicken. The fried rice alone is so so but paired with the chicken is awesome. Did I mention this place has a drive thru?! Don’t expect super fast service but when you want to be lazy and get Chinese food, it’s awesome.

We’ve driven past this place for years and often joked that it must be a money laundering front for the mob or something because there are never any cars in the lot yet it remains open. Our son wanted Chinese food tonight and we were in the area so we decided to give it a try. The parking lot was empty when we arrived and it would have been no surprise if the doors had been locked. The entire place was empty except for us and the one waiter. We chose our seat as he hurried off to turn on the air conditioning(customers in the building). Funny stuff said though, I’m glad we finally came in because the service was great and the food was surprisingly good. Hot, fresh, tasty, and cheap.

Went there for lunch on a Friday 5 min after opening. Seated immediately. The place was nice, clean, well lit. but freezing cold. Must have had the heat off overnight in the winter. Soft drinks brought quickly. Good came out in good time. Pretty on the plates, great presentation. Portion was appropriate, not too much yet enough to be filling. That is the only positive on the food. Flavor was sub par. The fried rice was bland. As in white rice with soy sauce. Nothing else in it. General tso’s was bland. No spice. Walnut shrimp about the same. Crab Rangoon mediocre at best. Waitress never checked on us again. Had to track her down to pay. Will not be back.

Wonderful, especially for the price! Can get items right around $ 10($ 8 – 12 typically), and they have a DRIVETHROUGH– great for kids, and mine love their food. DO wish they would post their menu online somewhere so I could branch out, but they have a little bit of everything. You get a lot for what you pay for. We eat here more than I should admit, and everything has been tasty.

Was in the mood for Chinese food on the way home but my mini-van was full of kids and I didn’t want to unload everyone. In the past, I hadn’t considered this place in the 4 years that I’ve lived nearby but figured it was worth a try since it had stayed in business that long AND it had a drive thru. !‘m glad that I did — service was super quick, convenient and the food was delicious. And to top it off, the prices were considerably lower than one of my other favorite Chinese take outs. Giving it 4 stars for now since I’ve only visited once but will update my score once I’ve made a few more visits.

Tried this on a whim and what a find. Read the other reviews and decided to give it a shot. Dad had the General tsu chicken, I had greenbeans. Wasn’t a bad thing on the plate. I highly recommend!

A Chinese restaurant with a drive thru is something you don’t see often. The place always appears empty so was skeptical to try it. But I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is nothing to talk about but the food was delicious and price was reasonable and quantities quite generous. While waiting for my order saw a few cars in the drive thru getting take out. I now call it the Chinese drive thru place. Will visit again.

I was really skeptical to try it since I never saw anyone there but others reviewed it high. It will be our new take out place for sure. We just need to order less because portions were large! Only negative was that the dining room was dirty and my husband had to ask what we ordered because they were a tad confused with who had what.

We’ve only used the carry-out window and sometimes it takes longer than you think it should, but damn, this is very good food! Huge portions, good ‘n hot(temperature-wise) and very very tasty. I don’t know if they do this because we’re usually there fairly late, 9 pm and sometimes later, but they always throw in a couple of egg rolls for free. Everything we’ve ever gotten there, in nearly 4 years, has been great.
