I was rather pleased with this establishment, specifically speaking on behalf of the store front. Several of the workers were very charismatic and assisted me throughout my shopping experience. I was also very pleased with the cashier as he carried on conversation with me and made me feel like his only customer. Overall I was very pleased with this location.

The few times I’ve been in this store, I’ve had less-than-stellar experiences, but I gave them another chance a couple of days ago. I needed to fill a prescription. The setup, which is likely chain-wide, threw me off a little. You could easily see the three pharmacists bustling around, and it wasn’t clear which one was responsible for dealing with the public. I could also see the mound of paper-bagged prescriptions, which they had to dig through for about two minutes before they found mine when I came back to pick it up. I didn’t feel like they’d give me the wrong medicine, but overall, I got a disorganized vibe from the pharmacy. Long story short, I made a phone call after I’d rang up and gotten to my car; I ran right back in to see if I could return it and go to my usual pharmacy to save $ 16. I was pleasantly surprised that they said«No problem,» with a smile. I asked if they could just send the prescription for me, and the pharmacist took down the other pharmacy’s phone number and asked when they closed for the evening; he said if he didn’t get it in tonight, it would be there first thing in the morning. At this point, I went home happy and thought this Walgreens had redeemed itself. ***Here’s when they dropped to a one-star review: When I called my usual pharmacy in the morning, they hadn’t received anything from Walgreens. I called W to check, and a lady shortly informed me that it was against their policy to send prescriptions to other pharmacies, that whoever helped me must have been confused by what I had asked him — she refused to admit any error. I had to have my pharmacy call Walgreens, there was no other way. Then! After asking my pharmacy to call Walgreens, my pharmacy called me back a few minutes later, saying Walgreens wouldn’t release the prescription because there was no record of a return! Unbelievable! I had to go back to Walgreens and show them the receipt; the pharmacist said«oops!» and … ironically, offered to call my pharmacy for me. Luckily, it made it there this time and I didn’t have to make any more phone calls or visits.
