This place is a hidden gem. Amazing dinner. Hibachi, sushi, and buffet for only $ 7.99 for dinner. This place was so clean I have never been been in a cleaner restaurant. Get the Groupon dinner for two for $ 10.00. Service rocked!

This place recently popped up as the subject of a Groupon deal, where you could get two lunch meals for $ 7 and two dinners for $ 11. A great deal, but today I find myself by my lonesome, so I had to forgo the deal. It’s not too difficult to find, it stands alone as a rather small building at the edge of a shopping plaza. Nothing too distinct about it except for the seemingly small size, but it’s a smidgen bigger on the inside. Looks friendly enough, and the prices look pretty fair. It was sparsely populated for a Thursday afternoon, and for a short time, I was the only diner. Others trickled in, and I soon began to peruse the buffet offerings. Given the plethora of buffet restaurants dotting the area, I was surprised to find no true, distinct dishes to set it apart. The only thing I found to be any discernible surprise was the beef tacos, sprinkled very lightly with small slices of onion. I didn’t see much else to add to said tacos, but imagined the booth’s Sriracha would make a nice topping were I in a more spicy mood. Other than the tacos, no real standouts, and nothing stood out in regards to taste. I then noticed the hibachi grill, an assortment of raw foods, and a kindly gentleman who, once I had my chicken, noodles, and green peppers ready, sizzled them to perfection in a deep base of tasty soy sauce. The ‘ding!’ meant I was about to enjoy some quality, fresh-grilled meats, veggies, and noodles. It was so good that I had to go back for a second round, and was a little too full for dessert after that. Again, no real surprises there. $ 8.20 before the tip(I had Pepsi with it), but would I return? Maybe, perhaps if I was in the area and deeply craved that hibachi goodness. It’s tough to recommend it on the buffet alone, because though it’s not –bad-, it’s really not that good, either. The hibachi is definitely distinct, with 9 ingredients you can mix and match to your heart’s content, and I would definitely recommend trying at least a small plate of the hibachi chicken with some noodles. Without the hibachi, this would have been a 2, no question about it, but the hibachi makes it at least worth a single visit, especially if you’re in the area or local!
