Great chill vibe! Nothing fancy but great food! Evenings on weekends there is a band. The Voodoo tacos are a favorite of mine. The Baja tacos are another favorite. The burgers are outstanding. The Mojo fries are good as well. Large selection of draft beer at a good price. There is a patio that allows pets. And they will serve burger only for your pup for 1.99 if you ask the server. They also have water bowls for your furry friends.

The food is good but you need to go by yourself since it seems they aren’t able to get more than one person’s meal out at a time. On a recent visit with a party of 6 they first served only French fries that one person ordered, several minutes later 2 people got their burgers, several minutes later 2 people got their tacos and finally the last 2 taco baskets were brought! The fries and burgers were now cold. Giving the benefit of doubt that they were having a rough night in the kitchen, I visited today with 2 guests. Our party of 3 had a pretty similar experience… first came one order of fries, followed by a burger several minutes later, then one taco order and finally the second taco order. Time elapsed between the fries and the last taco arrival at the table was over 5 minutes. Weird.

The food definitely improved, but there is a new set of employees which if probably why. It’s also the likely cause of the better service. If you get the fish tacos, get them blackened for the flavor. Otherwise the taste is really bland, and just… salty. Which is great if you cook with no spices, but I like my food with some flavor, and there’s only so much sour cream can do. But their Cajun fries are great!

Very yummy! The manager isn’t too friendly, neither does he seem to know how to run a business. Other than him, the staff is wonderful and the food. OMG outstanding! I recommend them to everyone I know! Even tourist that are pretty far from them lol. You really can’t find anything better than the lime fries! They’re to die for!

Staff great, food is Spectacular! The twist and turns of the menu are very inspiring. Have not been able to order anything but the fish taco with lettuce wrap. Dad had the Burt Reynolds hamburger and enjoyed it

Good tacos, super casual, teenage staff, open seating with garage doors. You pay before you sit down. The seats are car seats and colorful. Definitely a good choice for a laid back night of grub.

This place was wonderful! Food is fresh and flavorful! It is a order at the counter and they bring out food to you place. The zucchini fries are lightly battered and fried, I could have eaten the entire basket myself.

I love the décor of the restaurant, it’s very festive and Hawaiian. I had the Cajun fries that were fresh and hot. I ordered the Big Island and the Malibu fish tacos. They both were in a flour tortilla and the Big Island I had blackened seasoning and Malibu I had grilled seasoning. The fish tasted fresh. It was a little different, you order first then you take a seat after you get a number for your table so they can bring you the food. The food came out fairly quickly which I love that and that is a huge plus for me. I will definitely come back for more of these fish tacos.

This is a casual walk up service restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. 3 in our party ordered tacos. Yummy! My husband and I both tried the wipeout taco which has shrimp, steak and all the fixings including french fries! It was amazing! Two tacos was plenty of food for an adult, one is great for the kids. Be ready to eat with your hands and a fork. The décor and music is very caribbean and adds to the charm.

Very tasty! Food was fresh, was prepared well, and had great flavors. Restaurant was clean. Service was friendly. You order at the register, and you are then given a number so your food can be brought to you. We had a party of 5. You could tell our dishes were made fresh, because each dish came out individually hot from the kitchen as soon as it was made. We loved that there was an option besides pop for our 4-year old(Apple juice). He loved that he got pineapple with his meal! We’ll be adding this to our list of places to eat in Orlando!

This place is off the charts. The dinning room is super fun, and the servers are all very freandly. I watched as one server broke a to go box in half and filled one side with water for a dog that was with a guest. The food came out extremely fast, maybe because there wasn’t to many people there. I tried a bite of everyone’s food at my table and everything was outstanding. No matter what you have to get an order of cracked corn. With living so close to this place I can’t wait to go back time and time again.

I love Jimmy Hulas because not only is the food affordable, tasty, and made quick, but the atmosphere and vibes are amazing. I love their beer selection as well. Their tacos are massive. The mac and cheese isn’t really good, but I guess it’s not a Mac and cheese type of place anyway.

What a great incredible place! I have been wanting to try this place for a long time now and I am so glad I finally did. From the minute you get out of the car and walk up, you know you are going to have a good time. Upon entering the restaurant I felt relaxed and happy. The vibe is very laid back islandish. Very open and roomy. Tables and very comfy booths inside and out. I like walking up to the counter and being able to order my food and not have to wait for a waiter or waitress. We have never been here before and was not sure about ordering. The young man behind the register was very helpful and polite. My husband happens to be a vegan and he made some great suggestions about the menu. He even mentioned that there used to be a mushroom cap burger and since it was no longer on the menu he took it upon himself to go back to the kitchen and see if they could still make him one. They were willing to, but my husband chose something else instead but I thought that was an above and beyond thing to do. Once we ordered we sat down and had our food within probably 7 minutes of ordering. AMAZING! The restaurant wasn’t packed but it wasn’t empty either. I got one fish taco(a voodoo) and a chicken(Street taco) and both were great. The fish was crispy and just crispy enough were the fish was not overcooked. And the chicken was a good size piece of white meat that was not dry. The pineapple mango salsa was just perfect. My husband had the tree hugger which has all vegetables in it. He also had the beans and rice that was very tasty. But I think I died and went to heaven when I tried the crack corn… I shared it with hubby and I am sorry I did because I wanted it all to myself after the first bite. Prices were very reasonable. It was very clean and well kept. Great artwork on the walls including in the bathroom. We will for sure be back soon.

Every vacation we now rely heavily on the Unilocal app to find delicious eateries. Looking for a place for dinner our first night, we headed to this place. It is a really cool place with a fun laid back atmosphere. Enough about that, as those reading my review are interested in the food. I ordered a wipeout taco and a Utah Jacks(or something like that). The wipeout was recommended by the employee and the next one on the list was the Utah jacks. The wipeout was so delicious and I wish I would have ordered two of those. The other one was a little dry and the mac and cheese did not compliment the taco. It was better when I put some baja sauce that my wife had with her sandwich. My father ordered the same items and felt the same way. My wife ordered some Cajun fries and they were so good. The tacos we ordered came with scattered tortilla chips, which was nice, because it didn’t say that anywhere on the menu. My dad ordered a side of salsa to go with the chips and it was 2.60. I have criticized other places for this as I think charging more than a dollar for salsa is ridiculous. Outside of this and the disappointment in the Utah Jack, this was a really good experience. I would not hesitate to return to this place, except I would order two wipeouts and forego the side of salsa.

This place is all the casualness with good food and beers that doesn’t hurt your pocket you could want! Love tacos? Dine here. Want great fast food at low cost? You picked the right joint. Order at the counter for this eclectic décor restaurant. Outside seating avail(bring your pup!), brews bottled and draft, everything from tacos to snacks to burgers to bowls of yummy goodness. I ordered 1 Baja blackened fish taco and 1 luau chicken teriyaki taco. Both topped with cabbage and pineapple and Baja style sauce. Filling and sooo good $ 3.89/each. Ordered the Cabo Trio — chips with queso, guacamole, & salsa. Plenty to share with a few people — $ 3.99. Some of the best«fast» tacos I’ve ever had. The food was out to our table before we could sip our Coronas. Nice staff, friendly and helpful with the menu selections. Atmosphere is chill with a few TVs and funky boat seat booths. Good for kids and groups too. The guess and guacamole could use doe More flavor in general but salsa was tasty and fresh. Would recommend to anyone looking for some great food at low cost and funky fun Atmosphere! Thanks Unilocal reviewers for leading us here. :)

My BFF thought it would be fun to take me on a mystery lunch and he wasn’t kidding. I followed the GPS directions and it led us to Jimmy Hula’s. Upon entering we were greeted warmly by the cashier who offered us a menu and some great suggestions on what was good, since this was my first trip to the islands. I decided on 2 Fish Tacos one being the Big Island, which consists of Spring mix, mandarin oranges, pineapple-mango salsa & Lava Sauce and the other was the Baja which had Dry cabbage, jack cheese, Pineapple-mango salsa and Baja Sauce, and they are served in a basket of tortilla chips. As an added munchie we order Zucchini fries, a side of guacamole and corn nugs. After paying we took our drinks and our magic number and found a table. They had a great assortment of low tables, booths, typical high-tops and a high-top/booth combo. We picked the combo because the booth seat was like a back seat of a vehicle, very comfy and complete with an arm rest with cup holders if needed. Within a few minutes or tacos were brought out freshly prepared and larger than life looking incredibly delicious, quickly followed by our munchies. The BFF had to stop what he was doing so he could witness my first bite of the Baja. I think this was the biggest fish taco I have ever eaten, but once I was able to maneuver it, I channeled my inner shark and took a satisfying bite. The crunch of the cabbage combined with the sweetness of the salsa and the mild bite of the sauce and the blackened fish was eye closing good. From there I sampled the infamous Zucchini Fries. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive since they are deep fried and many times when a veggie gets coated and deep fried it ends up tasting mushy but Jimmy didn’t let me down. These fries had the right amount of batter coating, not overly coated and just fried enough. The dipping sauce was a nice addition but not totally necessary. I also sampled the guacamole which was just like my BFF makes so it made me feel satisfied with that choice as well. Then it was time to try some corn nuggets. I have had corn nugs before, but never with honey as a dipping sauce. So when in Rome. First I tried them without, perfectly cooked, sweet corn in the middle just like I like them. Very tasty. Then I tried it with the honey. Wow, super sweetness overload. I am sure adding the honey is an acquired taste, I will stick with the nugs, just sans the honey. When I got to the Big Island, it was like I had saved the best for last, unintentionally, because before I knew it, it was gone. I think I found a winner. The combination of the fruit, veggies, sauce and fish are like a symphony to my senses and this my number one… until I return to try something new… Oh and PS, the employees here are incredible, I think at least half the staff stopped at our table over the course of our meal to check on us, to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything, we will most definitely be back!

Such a chill and laid back atmosphere. It almost felt like I wasn’t even in Hunters Creek. The food was great along with the service. For appetizers I’d recommend the Crack’D Corn if you’re a fan of Mexican corn. As for the fish tacos, I really enjoyed The Killer. Other favorites include the Steak Jimichurri and Wipeout. This is a great place to kick it with some friends and grab some yummy tacos and a drink(or two). There are TVs available so I can’t wait for the NFL season to start to come here on Sundays or Saturdays for College Game Day! Ahhh, tacos… alcohol…football…C’mon fall!

Yummy food at this location too! You can’t go wrong with the Baja and Voodoo fish tacos. My kid loves the bowls as well. This time we got the zucchini fries and they were perfect, not soggy like last time. Yay! I like the layout at this one, too. It’s nice and open with big garage doors to let in the air. I’ll be back!

I had reviewed this one under another location because this entry wasn’t available at the time. It is still good, affordable and fun. The voodoo taco is still my go-to favorite, and for my girlfriend, the standard and the pipeline. One taco should be enough, but the usual is just ordering two tacos and wishing for a siesta. However, the last Wipeout I had was not good. They over-salted the steak to the point of being inedible by itself. That was my only complaint last visit. Also, for the love of any random island god, why doesn’t this establishment offer smoothies or shakes?! They would be simply perfect, if you don’t want anything alcoholic to pair with your tacos. Their sweet tea is horribly watered-down(on two different occasions we tried them, and we promptly exchanged them)„ so we usually are forced to drink soda. Take a page from the Tropical Smoothie book, which are great at pairing smoothies with taco-like dishes. Anyway, this is still a fantastic place to visit in Hunter’s Creek for some awesome tacos, and they are so devilishly cheap too!
