This place is not worth coming to. The food coming out of the kitchen is NOT consistent and wait staff cannot keep track of who orders what. Food was not even average. Horrible in all areas. I would give it no stars if I was allowed.

I will start with the good: service was good. Staff was nice, courteous and on it. I’d be real nervous if they weren’t on it considering there was literally only one other table having dinner at the same time on a Saturday. So if you like quiet, this is your restaurant. Oysters — they need to be ice cold… not refrigerator cold. They were not. Strip steak — medium rare is not just a little pink. But I suppose it would be tough to do much better considering the steak was the thinnest steak I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. What’s your definition of au gratin potatoes? Mine is potatoes, baked… with a bunch of cheese. Their’s? They define it as cubed, semi-cooked dry potatoes with breadcrumbs on top. I kid you not. No cheese or anything. Wine list. I’m sorry… if you are going to have the audacity to charge more than 5 times retail(Kim Crawford for $ 65???) then you need to have the absolute most amazing restaurant in the world that is impossible to get in to. You don’t have that… so stop over-gouging.

I had the clam chowder and the Caesar salad. It was really tasty, and the service was great. They have a good selection of fresh fish, and they offer to cook the fish in a number of styles including blackened, fried, and Lennon butter. Will definitely come back the next time I’m in Orlando.

This place does not honor Unilocal discounts. Asks for a confirmation number that does not exist. The service is terrible and treats customers like they are stupid. Walk in the rain to get elsewhere to dine.

Walking up to the restaurants, the outside booths for eating and fun chairs that hung from the ceiling for décor and for sale attracted my attention. It’s something different and cool. Upon walking in, no hostess was at the front and no one greeted us for quite a few minutes. Another couple was already there waiting as well. One of the servers came over to help the no where to be seen hostess. We then got seated. The way the restaurant is set up, a single Thai owner owns Atlantic Cove and the two adjacent restaurants — a thai restaurant and a japanese restaurant. It’s an interesting concept that allows you to order from any of the three restaurants. We order the tuna tataki appetizer that came out super cold. It was as if the fish was frozen until we had ordered it. The taste was ok, I would not recommend it however. Next we ordered two rolls, spicy conch and Orange Blossom roll. My boyfriend and I always order a spicy conch roll whenever we go out for sushi. The one here was not the best we have tried. It was not spicy at all. The Orange Blossom roll on the other hand, hit the spot. Fish was nice and fresh and sauce was just right. For my entrée, I ordered the Chilean seabass with lemon garlic butter and my side was the garlic mash potatoes. You can never go wrong with Chilean seabass unless it’s cooked improperly but here, I had no complaints. It was delicious! Nice and buttery and melts in your mouth! My boyfriend ordered the shrimp scampi. It was a little disappointing. It was bland. The shrimps were ok but the sauce and the pasta were tasteless. My boyfriend being a chef, asked for a bunch of different things and spiced it up himself. He enjoyed eating off my plate more than his own. And for dessert, we had a slice of key lime pie. Mmm! Our server was very engaging and had a really nice sense of humor. He made us feel happy to be there. A gentlemen dressed in suit and tie, I assume being the manager asked us how everything was a few times and of course that made the experience a little bit better. As for the atmosphere, the décor and chairs are a little bit out there. Everything is nice but I think it’s also a little random.

My friends and I grabbed a bite here right before leaving town after having vacationed in Orlando for the past 3 days. We ate at many nice places over the course of our vacation, and not only was this place the best priced, it was the BEST food of the whole weekend!!! It will be my first stop next time I am in the area! The clam chowder was great! The raw clams were salty and fresh, but the real winner was the raw oysters! They were delicious! Some of the best I’ve had, good sized and fresh! We sat outside, and found the seating to be adorable and perfect for the nice weather. The staff was very friendly and we got the 10% off for check-in! Next time, I plan on trying the sushi too! Give this place a shot! So good!

We called ahead to see what their hours were and they were one of the few that were still serving past 8pm on a weekday. It’s hard to miss, with the welcoming hammock in the front and the outdoor seating. They take up the majority of the plaza, connected to the sushi restaurant next door. The manager greeted us when we walked in and was friendly and very professional. The décor inside is colorful and lively. They have quite a selection on the menu– salads, pastas, and everything seafood(I avoided the Asian influenced dishes– Thai style and Japanese sushi); I concentrated on the seafood. We did a dozen raw oysters and they were incredible. I originally only wanted half a dozen, but they accidentally brought out a full dozen, but we had absolutely no problem finishing all of it! They were generous sized and a baker’s dozen. I highly recommend getting the oysters. The lobster and crab bisque was quite tasty and filling, so I couldn’t handle more than a po’ boy afterward. The soft shell crab was excellent. The also have a fun selection of fruity/sugary girlie drinks– good for dessert. Don’t forget to check in on Unilocal to get a discount!

Decided to go here since we had a 40% for first time diners. It was a Friday night during lent so we definitely were getting seafood. My wife and I shared half dozen raw oysters which were very sweet and tasty, but were on the smaller side. I am a lobster bisque fan so I ordered that next. It was a little bit more watery and had quite a bitter after taste. For my entrée I had the soft shell crab po-boy. The soft shell crab was a bit overcooked and a little bit too oily. My wife had the grilled grouper which tasted ok… had better. Will probably not go here again.

excellent service. Food was perfect and surpassed my expectations. Flavorful, fresh, and fast. The atmosphere is clean and efficient, considering the huge space. The menu is quite large, so take advantage of reviewing any online menus to help you narrow down the choices. If you have large family and need to please a lot of various pallets, this is worth checking out. I plan on visiting again when I am back in town.

Meh. Went here for late lunch with a few fellow conference-goers. The service was friendly and the food was just okay. There wasn’t anything spectacular about the various rolls or appetizers we ordered. The one item that I thought was worth the trip was the cedar grilled sea bass. It was close and convenient, but if I’m the area again, I would try something different rather than coming back.

Good selection on sushi and rolls. Try the volcano roll. Choice of 3 different restaurant menus. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff.

This restaurant was recommended by the Marriott as a great lunch spot after. Atlantic Cove is part of a trio of restaurants in the same complex. We started with the crab empanadas which were really good; they were filled with crab meat and the crust was flaky and well cooked. I enjoyed the Snow White sushi and my husband had the Fried Grouper sandwich with fries and coleslaw which he said was good. We would both visit again.

Great food love how it is basically three restaurants in me place. We ate at Atlantic cove but was able to order off the menu for the Japanese and Thai restaurants on either side of the same building. The were great with our kids too. The raw blue point oysters and clams were delicious. The clam chowder had plenty of fresh clams too. The blackened snapper and grouper were really good. If we lived in Olando, will definitely be a regular there.

This is a great place for lunch. I like being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather. This is Florida isn’t it? Why trap yourself indoors freezing your butt off in the AC? The sandwiches are all pretty good and range from $ 8 – 12. Very reasonable it seems to me. I especially like the soft shell crab sandwich. Fresh crispy roll baked on premise. Nice tangy sauce also. I could do without the pickles but that is just me. They normally have a coupon in the tourist mags so you can get 10% off all the time. The décor is a bit tacky but not terrible. Overall a good meal experience.

My family and I were recently on vacation in the Orlando area and were on the hunt for Crab legs for my daughter’s Birthday dinner. Being a chef and not a fan of franchised restaurants, we decided to try Atlantic Cove for dinner. Upon our arrival, we were greeted warmly and quickly shown to our table. Our server, Ruben, quickly greeted my family and I. Ruben informed us that our dining options were not merely limited to Atlantic Cove alone. Saddled between two adjoining restaurants, we had our choice of Hibachi or Thai as well as access to the delicious Atlantic Cove menu. This was all pleasant surprise. I ordered the Sex on the Moon sushi and my wife ordered the Crab Empanadas for our appetizers. Both were AMAZING!!! My daughters enjoyed there perfectly steamed Crab Legs whilst I enjoyed one of the most tender, delectable entrée of Chilean Sea Bass I have ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. But my review does not simply end with the food. Jeff Coyle, the General Manger, took time from his night to greet my family and engage in a most interesting bit of conversation. I enjoyed talking with him and learning some things that I had not been formally privy to. Jeff was more than accommodating to my family and I which helped to set the tone for the whole evening. Due to this experience, I now have a reason to look forward to visiting Orlando again in the future. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my fellow culinarians and friends alike. Ignore the other reviews for they do not in any way do Jeff, Ruben and the rest of the staff at Atlantic Cove justice. Keep up the great work, guys! You are a true inspiration to small businesses everywhere!

The Service: We arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday night and found the restaurant about ¼ full. We ordered two fish entrees and some sushi(1 roll as an app and two others as a third entrée). 20 minutes later we received bread and another 15 minutes later we got the sushi app. After another 45 minutes(after complaining twice about the delay and being told that the kitchen was really behind) our entrees finally arrived. My wife had ordered a side of grilled asparagus($ 6) because she loves the flavor when it is grilled. She got steamed asparagus instead. When I asked the waitress why it wasn’t grilled, she took it back to the kitchen for 60 seconds and then returned it, having received only a few moments on the grill rather than being cooked on the grill. After the lengthy delay, the waitress told us she’d tell the manager. The manager never appeared. The Food: The fish was over-cooked and had no sear. This comes from cooking in a pan that is too cold. The garlic mashed potatoes were fairly gummy potatoes with jarred granulated garlic mixed in. The aforementioned grilled asparagus was not. Would I return? For what they are charging, the food should be much better. When a restaurant is overwhelmed when it is ¼ full, then what would it be like on a busy night? If the manager needs to intervene because of continuous service problems then he should at least make an appearance. I will not be returning.

Could not even rate this place! Three restaurants in a row all owned by the same person in a mini strip mall, should say enough. Pulled up and first impression was what was with there outdoor seating, watch a joke. No one was inside but the servers waiting around for someone to serve. Décor inside was just as bad, but we still decided to give it a try since the menu prices seemed reasonable and sandwich sounded pretty good when I looked on line. When we got the table and took a quick glacé at the children’s menu and noticed the prices were high I was a little concerned. Do not be fooled there are no sandwiches on the dinner menu and prices are way to high(I realize we are in Orlando and prices geared to overcharge tourist). No beer on tap and over priced drinks. We all got up and walked out sometimes you can just tell there was nothing good that was going to come out in the end.

Went in for lunch, Atlantic Cove is one of three resturants in this location all run by the same people and you can order off all three menus, Oishi Japanese and Thai Tahini are the sister stores. I had a Soft Shell crab«po-boy»… very fresh deep fried soft shell crab served on fresh baked bread(same bread they give you before the meal with oil and spices dip) with pickles and tomato, served with fries. My guest ordered a spider roll that was on the Oishi menu which was just as good, and above average for the numerous Sushi places on International Drive. As this was lunchtime I did not have anything off the bar menu which has many specialty drinks. One thing also to note is that they have quite a few choices for raw oysters(as well as various types of them) clams, mussles, about 8 choices of diifert fish and a large variety of non-seafood dishes.

The new-ish restaurant, Atlantic Cove, featured a menu of traditional meat and seafood plates, sushi, and unique Asian-fusion dishes. Our waitress, Alexa, was an absolute SWEETHEART. She seemed a bit new and nervous, but was so respectful and accommodating! I was very impressed. The drink menu was so extensive and unique. I chose the Basil Martini, made with Belvedere Red, vermouth, and infused basil, and was just what I was hoping for and more. It was so amazingly smooth, tasted like spiked pesto, and was certainly worth its money in terms of strength! I have to admit that I sloshed a bit of this beauty on myself at the end there. We were served some pretty tasty bread with olive oil and herbs, which I definitely prefer to butter. Could NOT for the life of me decide on which fish I wanted, and whether or not I wanted it cedar-planked or blackened! So many great preparation and fish options. I quickly took to Twitter to ask my go-to foodie followers for advice, and went with blackened snapper. My dad ordered seafood soup, one of his favorite things to get before our vacation dinners, a Lobster & Crab Bisque, and he loved it. The bowl was cool too! He also ordered his fish blackened, but chose grouper. Unfortunately the kitchen goofed and served it grilled instead, but he didn’t say anything, because it was still excellent. My meal was amazing too! I got asparagus on the side and devoured my pineapple mango salsa, as well as my dad’s. I also picked at my grandpa’s crabcakes and my mom’s baked potato skin. The crabcakes were really good, though not as much crab as I usually like. The potatoes were HUGE and nice and salty on the skin. Our waitress did forget my grandma’s wine refill, but was very apologetic and quickly got her the glass. She also ran back to the kitchen and asked about a zillion questions for us, which I’m sure was annoying for her, and I’m grateful for her help.
