I love this place! It has everything I need. I feel like I go there everyday. Everything is so fresh! I could spend hours here. I love the salad bar and soup bar.

Great store which carries everything. Very clean and organized. As for dining, I would stick with the buffet bar. The buffet bar has many tasty options. I’d stay away from having your steak cooked there if you’re considering eating steak. They are not pros as far as cooking your steak at your desired temperature. My medium filet was rare to medium and it was cold.

Love this place just for the prepared food area– I can’t decide what I want sometimes and it’s good to have tons of options when I’m lazy and don’t want to cook for the family. Good fresh produce selection and lots of foreign & international grocery items.

Loved the Hot Buffet bar when they first opened. Everything was hot and fresh. However lately my trips there in mid afternoon have been disappointing. The food is dried up and the cod is tasteless and swimming in a pool of water. Too much food out at non peak times. Fresh food mixed with older food that should be tossed. They need to develop a usage system to keep food hot and fresh at all times. Pot Roast seems to be good though most of the time. I will now only go when I can be there at 10 am when the hot bar opens.

Mariano’s is just simply overpriced. In addition to being overpriced, they have charged me wrong half the times I have been there!!! The coupons sent out said limit 2 items, so we purchased 2 but it only took off one. They said the cashier was supposed to swipe the coupon twice. Welllll… we went there many times when they first opened and NOTONETIME did the cashier swipe twice. I brought back as many of the receipts as I still had for refunds. I was overcharged a few other times! Crazy! They must have made a killing bc how often do most people check their receipts? Yesterday I had to bring in my reciept bc the blueberries I bought were marked $ 2 and I was charged 3.50. The produce is the same as other stores(for ex. Driscolls berries) but double in price. I don’t need a «fancy» grocery store at all. I need a clean store with awesome prices. I’ll stick to Aldi, Shop and Save and Eurofresh. I love the Aldi in Orland Park near Sandburg. Shopping is easy, prices are excellent, the small selection they have is great and the employees there are nice. It is clean, bright and I LOVE the Almond Milk for 2.29 for a half gallon. It is the best I have ever tasted. They had delicious blackberries this week for .69.

I was so excited to finally have a Mariano’s in town, but I’ve been let down by them numerous times already. They’re EXTREMELY inconsistent with their times… the store is open until 10pm, the bakery and BBQ area is open until 9pm, the oyster and sushi bar is open until 8pm, and if you want them to cook up your food, they take their last order at 7:45pm…10pm is not that late, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. They advertise that they are open until 10pm and I expected that EVERYTHING would be open until 10. The place would be so much better if the whole store stayed open until advertised.

I unfortunately must say the Oak Lawn location is MUCHBETTER. First, they wouldn’t custom make a sandwich for you, you could only purchase as they were(they custom made one for me in Oak lawn). Also, very LITTLE meat on the sandwiches purchased by my husband and I. The sandwiches at oak lawn were overflowing with meat. The pizza was decent but again, very little prosciutto. In summary, VERY skimpy on the meat. Although we live in Orland Park, I can say we will definitely make the trip to the Oak Lawn location or the Orland Park Whole Foods.

What can I say marianos in Orland right down the street from my house. Has everything you need and more! Awesome quality and customer service. Just a great feeling getting a piece of meat and just tossing it in the grill ready to eat all in one place!

Love going here. Great experience shopping there. Where is the BOSS sandwich? Nobody at the store seems to know what it is. One person seemed to know about it and they told me the sub was a weekend only thing so I went on a Saturday but there was no BOSS! Really disappointed to not see this huge delicious sub at the store on a more regular basis. That sub alone is worth a star!

I stopped in 2 times in the first two weeks of this location opening its doors. I have been so excited for a Mariano’s in our town for a year, since I visit the Frankfort location whenever I am in that area(btw, I Love the Frankfort store!). I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. I expected the crowds, since it was so new, but I didn’t care for the layout. It seemed a bit awkward and did not flow well like the other locations and other stores. Also, the prices on some specialty organic items are not competitive. The sushi bar was out of brown rice around 5pm, which was frustrating. However, when I returned the a few days later, the chef had remembered me and sincerely apologized! It was a pleasant surprise… and the rolls were delicious. I will probably go there for fresh foods when I work late and don’t feel like cooking, but I will buy groceries elsewhere.

The experience is all they have to offer, grocery prices too high to do your weekly shopping.

Stop going to Jewel, Whole Foods, Pete’s, etc. Just go here. Seriously. You’ll see what I mean. Don’t waste your time.

What a blast. Just your normal 5 star grocery store. Glad to have one in Orland Park. Think of Whole Foods on steroids. As you walk the perimeter of this place you run the gauntlet of cheese, produce, meats, fish, dairy, wines, etc. This place literally has everything you might be in need of… including two aisles on international foods. Give this place a try. We went on opening day and it was a special treat… such as strip steaks for $ 5 per pound.

Mariano’s finally open in Orland !! Upon arriving it took a minute to find a parking spot and inside the store was really crowded and it felt kinda overwhelming. No big deals, I understand they just opened and their staff are really helpful and friendly. Even Mr. Mariano himself was helping me load groceries on the belt !! What ?! By the fresh produce section they have a guacamole bar ! Fresh made guacamole !! They have like a cafeteria area of BBQ, pizza, sushi, gelato, chocolate, popcorn, crepes, fresh made smoothies, coffee, hot bar, salad bar, olives bar, an oyster bar, and a wine bar. Awesome bakery/pastries, everything look really yummy !! They have a great variety of international food by the grocery section! Overall it was great! Mariano’s is awesome, my favorite supermarket in the Chicagoland !!!
