A little overpriced for my pockets and nothing that screams AMAZING. I’m not huge on the juicing scene nor am I very fond of the«drink your veggies» movement but I was in need of a pick-me-up so I tried something with maca root. The taste wasn’t very subtle and the strawberries were almost non existent in the drink. Very bland. I didn’t feel any extra boost of energy and about an hour later, I ended up going to Starbucks. Lol. I came in on another day to give it a second try. I went for a fruit juice, no veggies. I believe it was pineapple, lemon and ginger or something… Anyways, they don’t clean or rinse the juicing equipment between uses so even though I ordered a fruit juice, I could DEFINITELY taste the celery… and I want to say. Cucumber from someone else’s juice. Gag. That hit the trash can pretty hard too. Not my cup of «tea» but if you’re a health nut, you may like it.

Stop by on a sunny afternoon and my fiancé had the kale is a four letter word and I had the pineapple fling. The fiancé also ordered the works with onion bread and garlic Kraut. Juices and sandwich was hella bomb and great for keeping the love handles in frisky shape.

Great little juice bar within walking distance of businesses. I would give it 4 stars but it’s pretty expensive. Very good though and HIGHQUALITY ingredients. I’ll be back again.

What a surprisingly great hidden gem in Olympia! Raw foodies & health buts will love this place. Staff is nice and made some great recommendations too. There’s so items in their grab and go cooler, but they’ll be happy to make you items from the menu. There’s no seating available, so it’s either grab and go or stand around and eat. What I ordered: Sushi Veggie Rolls… no rice, just nori, veggies and sauerkraut, which tasted so fresh and clean. I really loved the kraut in these rolls! Avo key lime pie slice: Very good and the crust was nutty goodness!!! Local Rainbow Kombucha: I purchased a growler & so glad I did! My husband loves it too, and drank most of it!

I think it would be hard to find better food in Olympia in terms of creativity, healthfulness, and overall quality of ingredients. Visiting PLR is always a treat. Try and sandwich and a naimo bar… so good!

I love this place. Like, really, really, really… Love this place. And I’m a meat eater. But I super love raw foods. I love the health(hello happy gut) benefits of eating clean, raw foods. Lucky me, this place is close to where I work! I’ve been in a few times now and my most recent trip was what prompted a review. I ordered the kombucha(ginger… YUM), the«sushi» without chickpea miso, and grabbed a kale Waldorf from the fridge. WARNING: kombucha has alcohol in it. Maybe just a small percentage, but it’s there, trust me! This kombucha has a lot more than my homebrew! The sweet and friendly ladies working there were so, so accommodating to my requests… No soy, no chickpea miso. I even saw the chickpea miso being spread into the wrapper and then tossed when the mistake was realized. Thank you! They do let you choose your kraut… I’ve had the beet/caraway before and loooooved it so opted for that. Overall, the roll was good but soggy. I think, perhaps, the chickpea miso would help with that… I’ll sacrifice and have a soggy roll without consuming legumes. The salad was good. So, so good. I want more. Now. Just a touch of salt, please! If it wasn’t for the $ 17 price tag to get food to go I’d probably come here more often… I totally appreciate what they are doing and I looooove their food… And it’s totally worth the cost! Just not something I can indulge in on a regular basis.

No seating, so its more of a grab and go kinda place. Adorable hippy shop. Beautifully made food, ALLRAW. The workers were very kind and down to earth. I had the falafel sandwich without kraut, and I replaced it with avo. The bread was a sweet onion slice, more of a dehydrated cracker. Everything is raw, and vegan. We need more stores like this everywhere! It teaches people that raw food is AMAZING and nourishes your body.

For the uninitiated, be prepared this is raw food. The falafel normally deep fried is raw; the eggplant is dehydrated. The sushi would have been better if the veggies in the sushi were pickled. It would still be raw, but better as a sushi roll. Overall, it is what it claims to be, very clean, very friendly people.

I’ll start by saying that I love the fact that this place is vegan, raw, and organic, and the«cheesecake» was delicious. However, the kraut in the sushi was way too over powering. All I could taste was that strong fermented cabbage taste which wasn’t very pleasant at all. I would suggest adding some more fresh veggies instead of the kraut.

Visiting from NYC and stumbled into this spot and had some of the best food on our entire trip to the Northwest. Enjoyed the Kale Waldorf salad, Blue Kiss smoothie and the sushi rolls were A-MAY-ZING!!!

PLR is quite possibly my favorite place to go to. Such high quality food, and you feel great after eating there. Even their desserts are to die for! Gluten free, corn free, soy free, dairy free, no refined sugars, all organic, and everything is made in house, including their«milk» for smoothies! Yum.

I moved from Tucson to the area recently and go here every chance I get. The Blue Kiss(think blueberries) smoothie is better(I think) with cacao than carob and The Remedy(usually fresh pressed oranges, lemon, ginger and cayenne) is mind-blowing when you substitute apple juice for orange juice. The snacks are great, too. It’s good to see them with more and more customers every time I go in. Keep it up!

It’s kind of ironic that there aren’t more places like this in Olympia. The food is healthy, organic, raw, and vegan. It’s great quality stuff, too. When my non-vegan friends complain that vegan food tastes bland, I bring them to Peace Love and Raw to experience very good vegan food. I’ve also brought their stuff to potlucks, and it always gets eaten before anything else on the table. The downside is that it’s take-out only. They could make a successful restaurant out of this and appeal to Olympia’s hippie vibe. Also, they’re not open seven days a week. The location’s not the best-a little side road with a small sign and not much advertising. With some promotion, this place could really take off.

This is by far the best raw place in Olympia. They have the best– most creative raw food. Nicole is amazing with her recipes and the staff is all so sweet. Obviously it will take longer because it’s made to order — it has to be! I wish there were seating options but that doesn’t deter me from going 3 times a week. I LOVE the Green Crush and the Communicator drinks! I get them almost every time! !!

The staff were super friendly, the location was great, I loved the décor and my smoothie was really tasty. Because of all that, I was planning on giving Peace, Love & Raw five stars until I experienced terrible stomach pain about an hour after visiting. I ordered the Kale is a Four Letter Word smoothie, assuming it wouldn’t be a problem for my stomach since I eat raw vegan chia pudding fairly regularly and I drink lots of water.(The kale smoothie contains ground chia, which is known to cause indigestion when the seeds are not soaked.) I hope the good folks at Peace, Love & Raw consider changing up the recipe for this smoothie in the future.

I had the forbidden curry and was very satisfied with it. It had an excellent combination of flavors.

I still fantasize about the raw desserts I bought from here. They were literally the BEST raw creations that have ever touched my taste buds… And I’ve been into raw food for about 10yrs now… My fave was the«7 layer bar»!! I really wish Leland would open a shop out here in California!!!

How do you justify charging $ 6.50 for a cup of juice, at room temperature, no ice? It’s not magic, I can buy organic fruits and veggies and run them through my blender at home. Eating healthy is good, but it can be done easily and everyday without undue strain on your budget(sigh).

Seriously the best place to go for some delicious fuel for the body and soul. Awesome raw treats like cheesecake and salads. The best juice and smoothies I’ve ever had. And Leland, one of the owners is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I can’t begin to express how much love I have for this place! Unfortunately Leland is leaving PLR and moving to Oregon though. BUT, he’s informed me PLR will stay running and he is going to open his own separate business based out of Oregon called Bella Vita. And, he’s going to sell treats from that business at the local co-op in olympia!!! Yay!

I just recently started eating low carb, wheat free, CLEAN. I was up at Spuds Produce Stand off of Capitol blvd and saw Peace Love and Raw Nanaimo bars and was instantly THRILLED that I had located one after hearing about these from several people and not ever being able to find them. I bought it and savored every teensy tinsy morsel. OMG, DIEDANDGONETOHEAVENGOOD. AND healthy for me, to boot! I ABSOLUTELYCANNOTWAITFORTHEIRRETAILSTORETOOPEN. Yes, I am yelling. WOOOOHOOO for this business and how lucky is Olympia!!! April 25th, come on and get here!
