beware of the one star review. I was at the shop the night the on Angela K. was and her review is not exactly what occurred. two sides to every story let me be the third. yes as a walk in to a custom shop they had to wait aprox 30 min(getting tattooed same day as a walk in is almost and impossibility at any custom shop) Travis already had a long appointment booked(me who is getting a full left arm sleeve) one of the other artists has an opening and was able to get her daughter in for a mermaid tattoo. yes it did not go as planned so she stopped her artist and ask Travis to finish her tattoo. As Travis does not let anything less than perfect leave his shop he politely asked me if I would be willing to rebook due to Angela’s daughter was leaving for Italy and would not be able to come back. I gave up my appt. and let her take my place. She’s upset he could not do her cover up, because she had to wait for her own daughter??? I personally heard her several times say it was ok if she didn’t get tattooed as long as her daughter did due to she was leaving and she could come back. Secondly, this is a site to review experiences and services not to comment and make drama for someone’s personal life. I have spent several hours in Travis’s chair getting work done aprox 19 hours and I have never heard him say anything negative about his wife, act or say anything inappropriate. I have heard him talk all about his wife, girls and son with nothing but respect, love and admiration. so lets keep things business not personal, especially when you don’t know them as a family. This shop is not a walk in pick a generic piece of flash from the wall and have it slapped on first timers shop… its a custom shop owned by an artist who’s passionate about his craft and does not let anything less than perfect be done. cover ups, black and grey, color, old school, new school, portrait, realism Travis and his staff are all about creating you a high quality custom piece of artwork. something no one else will have and you can be proud to display.

Wow. Sat over 10 hours waiting for him to work on me, but he had do a coverup that another«artist» messed up on my daughter. Something that was supposed to only take her 3, took approximately 11 or so. He told me he would still do my tattoo up until the end. Needless to say, I was MAD. No tattoo for me.

Ive been getting work from Travis for a little while now and damn is he an amazing artist and a great dude! The shop looks amazing and is just an overall fun and welcoming enviorment! Whether youre looking to get your first tattoo or simply looking to add your collection forever Tattoo World is definitely a shop you have to check out! Oh and can’t forget they have some badass piercing experts as well as tattoo artist, so they got it all there!
