Exile Tattoo

I would suggest looking around before going here. I got my small tattoo done at Exile because there wasn’t any other option at short notice (when I realized this wasn’t my kind of shop) and I was only with my brother for the day.
I was extremely upset when my brother and I had simple matching tattoos and were charged $ 140. The time spent in total was about 15 minutes, mine took about 5 minutes and my brother’s took about 10.
In addition to my discomfort with the price, I felt the artist was a jerk and I apparently got no say in which artist did my work. His daughter was there screaming in the background the whole time as well.
Very unpleasant experience. If I’m going to pay that much I want an amazing experience worthy of telling all my friends about. Tattoo turned out fine but was very simple and wouldn’t expect otherwise.

How else can I say HOLY CRAP AMAZING. I came here with my boyfriend and his family to get family tattoos-don’t ask, we were bonding-​and despite me having not planned anything in advance, I was getting something on my leg. Lenny is incredible and took my original design and turned it into something truly special. I still love it. The entire staff is smart, friendly, patient, and willing to let you really think out your tattoo. Seriously, the next time I want something done, I’ll probably wait until I’m back out on the West Coast-​these guys are that good.

I knew I found a good, clean shop. Cool vibes all around. Everyone was so friendly when I walked in. The work here is SOLID. The portfolios that shower the coffee table are worth looking through. Beautiful work from everyone! You won’t regret going to any of the artists here. Anyway, I got in touch with Lenny through IG and made an appointment for that same week. He made the 2 hour session a breeze. Everything went well and my arm healed up like a champ. It came out so nice and I’m stoked to come back to the shop for more ink.

Scheduled an appointment with Tori about a week ago. We are in town visiting my sister. Got an awesome piece done and it was a great experience. Very friendly and talented.

Some of my favorite tattoos are from the ever-​so talented artists at Exile Tattoo. The shop is comfortable and clean. I always recommend this shop whenever people stop me and ask where I get my tattoos from.

Sure, I am in all senses of the word at Tattoo Newbie when it comes to my own bod. But do I know lots of people with tattoos? Sure do. I’ve seen lots of good tattoos. And some not-​so-​good tattoos. None of the not-​so-​good have come from Exile, however I have seen great pieces of work come from here!
She does quality work. Her designs look clean and are absolutely beautiful.
Check out all the artists at Exile. They all do incredible work, and can accomplish virtually anything your little heart desires.
It’s clean, its got a great vibe, and it has good people working in it. Go.

I have a lot of tattoos. I’m not covered head to toe in swirls or epic unicorn versus narhwal battle scenes but compared to most folks with tattoos… I have a lot. I’ve had work done at a minimum of 6 different locations (I’m pretty loyal and don’t like «cheating») over the past 13 years and I get compliments on the designs and quality of work on my body. With my credentials out of the way…
Luis is a badass! Now I realize that this is supposed to be about the shop but the artist is kind of the shop… he does good quality work and he’s fast. The shop hourly rate is quite reasonable and their deposit is also on the light end of the scale. Drop off a little dough and let them start designing your next skin art masterpiece.
Exile has always been clean and has a good vibe. It’s as welcoming at Exile as a tattoo parlor should feel without it being owned by the Olsen Twins. Would you like a pillow and a gingerale? Not at Exile! But if you want a friendly and knowledgable staff then you’ve found the right place. I’ve never had Tori do any work on me but I have friends who swear by her just like myself and others swear by Luis.
There is eclectic music bouncing around the shop and they have the usual flash up on the walls as well as their personal books of work. Check e’m out and try not to drool with envy. Have an idea? They’ll get to work on turning your idea into a legitimate tattoo that will not only be the fruition of your idea but also work as an awesome tattoo.
Tend to fall asleep during prolonged sessions? Honey badger don’t care! Luis will talk with you and is actually fun and engaging to have conversations with. He’ll also leave you alone and let you do your thing while he works. There will be the ocassional interruption as other, previous or future, clients come in to chit chat but the distraction is never long and you get to hear some interesting stories.
Overall this is the artist that will do the majority of the rest of my pieces and his shop will be my tattoo chapel. I have and will continue to send business his way because Luis and Exile know how to treat their clientele and provide excellent customer service with the skills to handle their ish.

I got my first tattoo at Exile and had the best of experiences. The entire staff was comfortable, inviting, and just great altogether. The guy who did my tattoo was Luis Martinez, his work is amazing. He came in on his day off to do my tattoo because of my hellish schedule. He gave me an amazing deal, for work that was incredible. My tribal phoenix is detailed and perfect, exactly how I wanted it to look, with only small modifications to keep the design from losing it’s sharp image as I age. I can’t say I have much experience with tattoos, but I can say that I got exactly what I wanted and more, and that Luis Martinez has earned himself a customer for life.
