It was alright, food was nothing out of the ordinary for the area. Staff was good, all in all would probably choose someplace else

Food was amazing. Try the Fire Brick Chicken! Now for the bad. I saw something floating in my wine that looked like a gnat. I informed my waiter who took it to the bar. My husband watched the bartender use a straw to get out the gnat and the waiter brought me back the same glass of wine. He tried to tell me that it was a piece of cork, but I know what cork looks like. Needless to say, I gave it back. Yuck! I heard back from a manager who said that this was not their policy. She stated that the policy is to dispose of the drink regardless of what the complaint was, so I’m not sure what was going on with the bartender that night. I did appreciate the response, and they were even nice enough to throw in a gift card. I’m not sure when we’ll go again, but I really did love that chicken!

Welp! That was a wonderful experience! The entrance is a bit awkward, but once inside, I recommend you hustle to get on the waiting list. We were lucky enough to snag a coveted seat at that bar while we waited. Craft brews, a great wine list, and cutesy cocktails abound. We shared the shrimp & crab cocktail. Delicious! Served with saltine crackers, it’s a wonderful cocktail sauce based seafood ceviche complete with jalapeño, cucumber, and acacado. Husband had the NY Strip with tomatoes and blue cheese on the side. He certainly out ordered me. Steaks seem to be served a bit on the rare side so if you like rare/med-rare, order a medium. I had the So Cal Pizza. Wonderful, but unfortunately I asked for no tomatoes when I should have trusted the creator. Based on the server’s recommendation, we wrapped things up with an amazing slice of Key Lime pie. What a delightful date night. Weighing in at about $ 120 for 2 people, one appetizer, multiple drinks, 2 entrees, and a dessert it was certainly a nice treat.

I visited this place on 12/26/2015 around 7pm, a friend of mine suggested we try this place out for a drink, very nice restaurant, can’t speak for the food as I only visited to have a drink, the Mango Margarita I ordered was great, I’ll definitley be back to try the food.

Came for lunch. I had swordfish and zucchini. The portions weren’t huge on the veg, but the piles of fries are nice. We also had the duo dip which is guac and cold cheese pile. Advised to get reservations on the weekend or wait could be hours. Pizza on point and a friend got a steak that looked really good. Nice new restaurant for the area.

Best place in Odessa hands down. Cool atmosphere, comfortable, good service and GREAT food. The grilled zucchini side was delicious. Crab and shrimp cocktail was very tasty and unique. Highly recommended!

We decided to try the Cork and Pig after a concert at the nearby performing arts center. A heavy rain storm blew in as we were arriving so I think that kept away some of the crowds plus it was a Monday night. We were able to get a table for 2 with no waiting. I really appreciated the waiter’s suggestions and answers to questions about the dishes. You could tell he had experience with the food, unlike some places where the wait staff can barely tell you about it. I had the rib eye steak and my friend had the pecan-crusted trout. The steak was tender and the fish was very good too. The sauce for the fish we got on the side and it had an appropriate flavor and not too sweet. We got the deviled eggs for appetizer and it tasted like they were made with real mayonnaise and were fresh and tasty. I got some decaffeinated coffee for dessert and even at the end of the night it was fresh and with good flavor. It was really a treat to eat here and I think this is among the best restaurants in this area. My only complaints are that they had TV’s playing, I can find TV annoying and watch very little of it but that is just my own taste. Also did not really like the rock/techno? music but it was at least soft enough to not be annoying. These two items are usually present in bars though and it is partly a bar so I can understand their presence.

I would have given 5 stars, except they don’t have WiFi! Atmosphere, cocktails, menu all send a message that they’re on trend and current… Then no WiFi reminds you that you’re still in the sticks of West Texas! But, other than that… Great place! Best bartenders!!! Hope they bring back the Ahi Tuna salad… C&P was the only place in the Basin that knew how to cook it properly! Highly recommend the Duo Dip and pizza.

By far one of the most incredible salads I have ever eaten. The steak tenderloin salad doesn’t disappoint. Portion is generous and the taste leaves you wanting to lick the plate! Tip: go for lunch. Dinner is standing room only and you will wait for a while to get a seat.

Great food. … a little on the pretentious side… feels like a chain. … the calamari was great and the jalapeño martini was the bomb… I had the ribeye which was good but overpriced at $ 30… hubby had the ribs and asked for extra sauce that never came..

This place was very good and very popular when I was there a few months ago. If I go back to Odessa, I will head back to this restaurant.

This will be the first 4 stars I give to a Midland/Odessa restaurant. The restaurant has a modern look and feel and looks pretty new. The menu has different options, from salads, pizzas, sandwiches and different entrees. Not a lot of seafood here but you will find a couple of menu items. The pizzas are fired wood cooked and seem to be the most popular items on the menu. We tried the godfather(pancetta, mozzarella, basil) and the SoCal(tomato, mozzarella, basil, avocado). Both were actually pretty good, the pizza crust was thin and crispy. We also tried the steak salad, it was very flavorful but not sure if it really was a $ 18 salad in my mind. The steak in the salad was perfectly cooked and tender though. The vinaigrette in the salad was light but flavorful. Our server was attentive and friendly. My overall experience was pretty good, I would come back again to try other menu items.

Great eclectic restaurant with a variety of entrees and drinks that make this place truly stand out from the majority of restaurants in the Midland/Odessa area.

Went to Cork and Pig Tavern in Odessa today for lunch with my family… the service was poor, but we were still having a good time and enjoying the food. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and ate two slices at the restaurant and took the rest home. While eating a slice just now I found a WIREINTHEPIZZA! How was a wire even near the food prep area?! EDIT: The manager just contacted me and took several steps to ensure that our next visit(and everyone else’s) would be better with both the service and quality of the food. I appreciate a manager that takes time out of their day to reach out to make sure to correct problems and help make their restaurant experience better. We will be returning(unless we find more electrical wires lol).

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and the food is always spot on. It’s usually very busy and I don’t think they take reservations so I would not get there too late, even on a Monday. The bar area is always hopping and nearly impossible to get a seat there. The pizzas are very good. I can also recommend all their protein items. Double cut pork chop, filet, ribeye all very well done and cooked the way you ask for it. I think I have been here 10x and always left happy.

Tried this place again on a quick trip west last week. Still delicious! The wait is getting shorter, but the drinks are still strong! Has the calamari and the club sandwich and both were great. Loved the tai dipping sauce for calamari!

Diamond in the rough that is chain restaurants! I figured with a name like this, and a parking lot full, this was the place. First the bartenders were perfectly attentive. They have some great craft brews on draft– I went w the Breck Avalanche. They seemed to be making a lot of fun cocktails too– jalapeño margarita martini for one… which I will try next time. I got the filet steak salad. Steak was perfectly cooked and you get an actual filet not cut in slices… perfect size about a 4oz… salad greens were fresh and mixed greens w bright red tomatoes, sliced Manchego cheese(a fave), perfectly ripe avocado. really well done. I had a glass of Prisoner Zin which when I asked bartender for a fresh newly opened bottle he gladly did. Well done great restaurant in the middle of an open field… well done!
