Homestead Beach Hotel

We had some trouble at first because when we tried to check in after 10 pm, there was no one there and no one was picking up the phone.
We were so mad since no one was picking up the phone and we were waiting until 1am calling everywhere.
After waiting until 1am, the manager called us and she got us in immediately. We were very angry at first, but they were very nice and the inside looks so much nicer than what I expected. It’s very cute and super cozy. The manager was very nice and she tried her best to fix all the problem.
Even though we went thru some trouble, I highly recommend this place. It’s very clean and very cosy. Oh and this place is right next to the boardwalk. Literally like 2 min walk
Little tip would be. Try to check in before 10 pm.
I would def come and stay this place again!

This was my second time visiting Ocean City. I had an awesome time. The first time I stayed at Plymouth Inn around the corner from this one and it was horrible but this hotel was a dream compared to that one. I stayed in suite 407. The suite was very nice, clean and up to date. It made my three day stay enjoyable and it was very close to th3 beach which made it more fabulous and the staff was very friendly.

*** Before reading any further, the lobby smells like urine. *** My review: I booked the room a month in advance to accommodate myself and my 2 sons. (5 day summer vacation) The snotty front desk lady informed us that our room was being switched because the owner is down here. Although that was ridiculous since we had a reservation (see Seinfeld) I asked for a discount because I felt stuck. She offered me $ 5 a day. We bring all of our stuff in and the room was tiny. A queen size bed for my sons and they offered me a small cot. The cot would have to be wedged between the bed and the «kitchen area» and during the day stored in the closet. We then parked our car 3 blocks away (they don’t have parking). On the walk back none of it was sitting well with me. My sons were trying not to make me feel bad. I didn’t feel right so I rented a much better place across the street. I went back in the The Homestead to pack up and the woman gave us a $ 94 refund on a $ 660 stay. Needless to say I am disputing the charges. Rude and dishonest people. Less than 1 star.

I had a fantastic time staying in Ocean City with some friends The room we were in was updated and clean (room 304). Although the room is tiny, you’re not in there for most of the day since you’re at the beach. The hotel is on beach/​boardwalk block… right near the music pier.

We came here for a one-​night stay for our first time in Ocean City. It was pretty good for the couple of hours that we’ve stayed there. We got in late, around midnight, because we had spent the day at Six Flags and the drive down to Ocean City was about 1.5 hrs. I had called Beth (the Inn Keeper) earlier regarding my late arrival and she was very nice to hide my room key so I could just come in whenever I want later that night. We stayed in Room 607, which was nice, although a little smaller than I expected. The bathroom was really nice, but could use an updated shower head. It was really clean though, which was a plus! I love the little kitchen area that was next to the bed. I can imagine that one can stay here for a week and just cook. The only gripes I had were that one of the boards in the kitchen above the fridge was sorta coming out… but that should be a quick fix… and also, one of the windows don’t have shades. I assume it was to showcase the partial ocean view that Room 607 has. Additionally, the beds creaked… If those were fixed then, they may be 4.5* given the price and the fact that the room comes with free beach tags, which are required to access the beach ($ 10 value for 2 people).
There are numerous motels/​hotels in the area that I may check out next time I come to Ocean City but the price here was pretty decent, so I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Fantastic! Great little rooms right off the beach n boardwalk! Very friendly staff, good prices and clean rooms! They seem to be recovering from the hurricane quite nicely!

Just had a great weekend at the Homestead! Location is big for me and this place is perfect. The room was a little small but it worked for us. Priced great.
