Staff very attentive, plenty of space for a group to have a conversation without shouting over each other. Ordered sushi, the Thai Red Curry with shrimp, and our favorite, the chocolate caramel pyramid dessert.

I’ve been to many restaurants in nyc and let me say that this was the most warm and friendly environment I’ve ever been to. The waitresses were absolutely lovely. They understanding when we accidentally spilled a drink and were happy to tell us stories of other nights. The music was loud enough to enjoy but soft enough to still maintain conversation. Now lets talk about the food. De. Lish. Ous. Ive been to plenty of sushi places and I actually experienced something new here. Wild Ginger is a unique and happy place that I recommend to all. Please come and enjoy!!!

Cost: $ 25+/person Food: 3⁄5 Vibe: 4⁄5 Contemporary/Alternative, goes with the city Décor: 4⁄5 Location: 4⁄5 Simple, Convenient, and Fun. Located in Center City Seattle, Wild Ginger, is a great spot to bring friends for a casual, but delicious meal. Everything on the menu is tasty so I suggest sharing between the table.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I really enjoyed the food and service. The Pad Thai was delicious and prices are faire. A cozy place to have dinner and have a good time.

Great Asian food with vegan options. The environment is warm and inviting and the people are super nice. We asked for tofu and the staff asked if we are vegetarians. Yes we are! This place has options for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Super tasty food and a friendly staff make for multiple visits when in NYC.

It smelled STRONGLY of fish when we walked in… rarely do I walk into a sushi place and it smells like fish. The food was meh. Service was okay.

Another cute little spot in midtown area. This place was more like an Asian-fusion style, so you can get sushi/bento boxes type of Japanese food or Thai food. Lunch specials were great deals– one appetizer, one main dish plus one drink for 12 dollars. Very good bargain. Food had huge portion. I have ordered the sushi lunch, with California roll on the side. Fish meat was fresh and rice was soft yet chewy. The only drawback was the miso soup, so light that I could hardly taste the flavor…

This little gem is right next door to The Pod so I ate there a few times and the service and food were very good. They open up the front windows so you get a cool breeze, and hear the waterfall and fountain from the Synagogue across the street. A very pleasant experience and I look forward to going back.

I came here today for a lunch with co-workers. Wild Ginger have two pages of lunch specials Prix Fixe Menu. There are several options– 1. 2 courses + Drinks for $ 11.45 2. Sushi and Maki specials– 2 rolls for $ and 3 rolls for $ 12. 3. Asian Bento Box specials for $ 11.45. I had the Fried Dumpling with the Asian Grilled Chicken– The fried dumpling was just ok– Rate 3⁄5 The Asian Grilled Chicken was over cooked, luke warm and rubbery like if it was reheated. The flavor on the chicken was totally lacking. This dish was suppose to be spicy, there was no hint of any heat. Rate 2⁄5. Very disappointed.

The ambience of this place is lovely though I will admit the window seating is slightly less appealing compared to other restaurants, namely because of the giant annoying menu stand in the way. The food tastes like any other Chinese restaurants, namely the ones in Chinatown, and that’s a compliment. If you like savory dishes, this is your place. Their plum wine is fantastic too! I would definitely come back here again, probably during happy hour!

Greasy mediocre chinese food. Nothing special here. If you just want something to fill your hunger and won’t food poison you(hopefully) like most places around here this place is just ok. I’ve only ordered here from Seamless so I can’t comment on the service but they’ve usually had my food ready for pickup in a timely manner. If you want something really delicious though might want to look elsewhere.

We go to this place when there’s no food in the house and we want a meal that’s tasty and as good or better than what we’d make ourselves. The portions are big, the food is fresh, and they don’t skimp on the seasoning. Unlike many Asian restaurants, the sauces aren’t slimy… they’re more like a delicious gravy. Personally I recommend the Sambal Sambal — a fairly spicy dish with chicken, seafood and veggies. My boyfriend swears by the duck wraps. I have never been to this place for lunch, however, for dinner it can’t be beat. There’s plenty of time to sit, and the staff doesn’t rush you out. While this is definitely not fine dining, it’s great quality food for a reasonable price, and there is plenty of room to sit comfortably. Just writing about it is actually making me hungry.

I’ve been ordering in from Wild Ginger and also going in to dine for many years as I live about 3 blocks away from their midtown East location. The food is usually average, and well priced. Never once have I had to wait for a table and usually the food comes out pretty quickly. Last night a friend and I met each other for dinner as it’s literally in between both of our apartments…3 blocks her way and 3 blocks my way. We’ve been here before and it’s an «ok» restaurant for college graduates who need to watch their wallets/dollar. Needless to say, it didn’t take us much to decide on going to Wild Ginger last night. We started out with an appetizer and my friend got sesame chicken. I got a simple california roll with brown rice. Just my luck: I was onto my 4th or 5th piece of sushi when I noticed I was chewing something hard and abnormal. I embarrassingly spit it out and low and behold I found a piece of wood that I almost swallowed had I not had been cautious while eating my sushi. Most people would have swallowed this, but because I’ve had to have emergency surgery in the past from another restaurant’s similar mistake, I am very cautious when chewing. The manager came over after I told them there was wood in my sushi and he takes the piece of wood off of my plate and brings it over to the sushi makers. He comes back and says«Yes, that was piece of wood from bamboo roller… I take that off the check»…oh thank you… Well, to conclude, that will be the last time I dine at Wild Ginger… I guess you get what you pay for???

I have not been to this restaurant physically, but I ordered from them on Seamless plenty of times. It has almost become my go-to sushi place on Seamless in midtown east. I particularly liked its«spicy girl» «wasabi lobster» rolls. In general it’s well priced and relatively delicious. Can’t give it a five star because 1) I’ve had better; 2) they forgot my soy sauce once; 3) I usually just don’t give five stars unless it’s truly fantastic

2 stars for the service, 4 stars for the food. I’ve been a regular at Wild Ginger’s Great Neck location since they opened many years ago. It’s better quality Asian food offering anything from Chinese to sushi to Thai dishes, and everything in between. Prices are reasonable and the ambience is fine, so for a Sunday girls night dinner in my area, the girls and I decided to come here. It was pretty empty for 7pm but it looks like most of their business comes from Seamless and GrubHub because the delivery guys had bags on bags on bags of deliveries. The restaurant is fine, nothing spectacular, but they have a fun playlist going on. My friend and I both ordered roll combinations for dinner with a side salad, but the waitress brought us miso soup instead. When we corrected her she became very nasty and annoyed with us and my friend asked if they’re going to throw away the miso soup(because legally I believe restaurants are supposed to) and she looked at us angrily, sneered a nasty«no,» and went to fetch our salads. So… I guess don’t order soup? The salad was fine, it’s your standard lettuce with ginger dressing, nothing noteworthy. The rolls I had were good. I didn’t have any special rolls so they were what you’d expect. For a $ 15 sushi dinner, I have no complaints. I’d come back here or order because it’s a easy, good, Asian restaurant catering to whatever you craving is.
